Diploma course is very useful. You get more technical knowledge in Diploma but again it's not degree. The kind of salary you will get on diploma basis it will be in the range of 15-20k.

Your percentile is 55.27. This score is less to get admission in COEP or VIT but you can get admission in VIIT or CIT.

Yes, you can get admission in COEP for direct second year in the respective branch if you have done diploma and when your marks are above 90%.

I think if you wait for second round then you can get but for surety go through cutoffs of last year and ask your friends or their friends if they got COEP.
