Most engineering colleges in Maharashtra charge around Rs. 80,000 - 1 lakh per year. Top institutes charge between the range of Rs 1.5 - 2.8 lakhs per year.
The course fee for B.Tech in Maharashtra is comparatively higher than any other undergraduate course due to its technical nature and reputation.

Hello Kaustubh, the number of seats available for lateral admissions is not known in advance. These are normally dependent on the number of students who pass or fail after taking admission in the first year of four year degree course and also on the supernumerary seats sanctioned by AICTE. COEP accepts a score of MHT-CET for admission. However, one can use JEE Mains score for admission against all India quota. But seats against this will be announced by the Government of Maharashtra later. In Maharashtra, all the government and government-aided colleges give admission based on MHT-CET only.
