My personal experience is that if you do engineering try to take admission in government.
Placements: The information about our batch in B.Tech mechanical engineering, there are 80 students in one class. The highest package in computer Science engineering is 8 LPA and the lowest package is up to 4 LPA. The student takes an internship out from college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not bad, it is well. The Wi-Fi facilities are available and the classroom is smart. In the hostel some facilities are good but not all facilities are good. Medical facilities are not available and the quality of food is also not good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and they give the best advice and they also get motivate us that how to achieve the best goals in our life. The student does a hard study for the semester exam in the college. Students have a very good percentage in semester exams and my personal experience says it only depends on you.
Other: I would like to choose mechanical engineering because of my interest in bikes and cars etc., I want to understand everything in the engine of the bike like a small part of the bike that's why I chose mechanical engineering. The campus crowd is a little.

It provides good infrastructure and average placements and teachers.
Placements: Almost 10% of the students get placed from our college. The highest salary offered was of Rs. 20,000 per month by SGS technical services. The lowest salary offered was of Rs. 10,000 per month by Authentic instruments industries. An average salary offered was of Rs. 12,000 per month by Rotodyne. SGS technical services, Authentic instruments industries and Rotodyne are the top recruiting companies of our college till now. The roles offered were as designing software like AutoCAD, Catia, Andy's, a consultant and a trainee engineer. The highest salary package offered in our course was 2.55 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was of 1.2 LPA. An average salary package offered in our course was of 1.44 LPA. Almost 90% of the students got internships from college. Everyone has their sources to get recommended in companies like Bhel (PSU), some in railways, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available but only for college staffs not for the students. Classrooms are big, also very neat and clean. The infrastructure of the library is good, but the latest books are not available. Hoste cleaning staffs do the basic facilities like cleaning of rooms and other places in the hostel. Laundry is not available here. Quality of food served is better but the way they cook make it bad, for example, they add a lot of water in daal. The food served in the canteen is good and tasty. The medical facility is provided at very low cost in the corporate hospital. Sports and games are played regularly as students participate enthusiastically in these activities.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable but not all of them. Almost 80% of the teachers teaching quality is better, but the remaining 20% do not teach properly. The course curriculum is relevant, but here in this college, it is hard to achieve the knowledge of proper curriculum activities as the college is not so focused on these things.
Other: I opted for this course because I like to design and operate new machines. For me, mechanical engineering is something that I would like to deal with. Designing new machines is my first priority. The best thing in this field is that if anyone is interested in the machines and the things related to industries, then they can get the proper knowledge and new ideas from this field. The college is good for economically weak students. The production sectors need some improvement as that is getting very low every year. Not many events are held, but some basic events are organised by the contribution of students like fresher's party, farewell party, carnivals, etc.
