DYPCOE Akurdi will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

• The JEE Main score of the candidate
• The category of the candidate
• The number of seats available in the course

Yes, DY Patil College of Engineering offers a four-year BE programme in the field of Engineering which is considered equivalent or similar to the BTech programme. Approved by AICTE, recognised by DTE (Govt. of Maharashtra), this course is available across nine specialisations which include Computer, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Instrumentation & Control, Mechanical, Production Sandwich, Civil, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and Robotics & Automation. With an overall intake of 900 under all these specialisations combined, admission to all these courses is subject to CAP counselling conducted by DTE Maharashtra based on valid scores in MHTCET/ JEE Main exams.

It can be challenging to seek admission at DY Patil College of Engineering, considering the cutoff marks for the respective entrance exams. The Institute offers M.Tech and BTech on the basis of valid scores on accepted entrance exams such as JEE Main, MHT CET and other equivalent national level exams. After qualifying the counselling round, candidates receive the final admission offer. Apart from this, candidates must secure a 45% in Class 12 and 50% in graduation, to qualify the initial stage. 

DYPCOE offers courses at the UG and PG level for the duration of 2 years and 4 years. The Institute offers BTech in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Information and Technology, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,   Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and Robotics and Automation. 

Whereas, DYPCOE offers M.Tech in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Robotics and Automation. The course intake varies from 9 students to 180 students, varying from UG to PG level.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 51553 and closing rank was 76206. If you belong to the General Home State category, 15 percentile in MHTCET MTech could give you admission to M.E. in VLSI and Embedded Systems, M.E. in Environmental Engineering, M.E. in Mechanical (Design Engineering) and  M.Tech. in Robotics and Automation, if belonging to the General Home State category. If there no specific choice of specialisation, you should try to get M.E. in Mechanical (Design Engineering) and M.Tech. in Robotics and Automation, as it has the highest cutoff.

The application fee for each streams and year varies every year. The fee also depends on different categories. Application form is there on the college page. After filling all the details & uploading the required documents, the students need to pay the fee at the last step. Once the fee is paid, the application is successfully submitted.
