Dr. DY Patil Law College acccepts MHCET law for admission to LLB. For admission to LLB, the cutoff score required for the General AI category candidates was 93.82, in the last round. Therefore, at 90 score, it is not possible to get admission to LLB, for the General AI category candidates.

For the General Home State quota candidates, the cutoff score for admission to LLB was 91.85. Therefore, for the General HS quota candidates also, the admission is not possible at score 90. However, for categories other than General, it is possible to get admission at score 90, as the closingscore is much lower than 90. 

It depends on the candidate's educational background and plans. BA LLB is an integrated course of five years, where students study both LLB and Arts subjects. However, LLB is a three-year course, which is solely around the study of law. Moreover, BA LLB is popular among Class 12 pass wanting to pursue a career in the field of Law. The placement opportunities are also more attractive in NLUs and other private colleges. 

Thus, it cannot be really said which is course is better. However, BA LLB is slightly more popular.

Among the General HS quota, the cutoff scores were 91.85 and 87.08, for LLB and BA LLB, respectively, in the last round. 

Yes, DY Patil School of Law offers a five-year BCom LLB course at the UG level. The course is spread across 10 semesters. Aspirants who have completed SSC and HSC with a minimum of 45% aggregate are eligible to apply for BCom LLB. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST category can apply with a minimum of 40% aggregate in Class 12.

MHCET Law 2023 Centralised Admission Process (CAP) includes the following steps:

Step 2: Document verification
Step 3: Choice-locking
Step 4: Seat allocation, and admission confirmation by candidates. 
The CET Cell Maharashtra releases MH CET Law merit lists after CAP process. The merit lists are released in different rounds for both 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB courses.
