DAV is a nice college with different types of people around and nice facilities.
Placements: The placement opportunities were not much, but about 65% of students got placed. The highest salary package was 12 LPA for government jobs. No companies were recruiting for a B.A. Most internships were offered in call centres and other places. The B.A. is mainly an undergraduate course which do not apply for the placements in the company, it is the pathway for people to do things in the future.
Infrastructure: There were all kinds of facilities available, like nice rooms, labs, classrooms, and a library. The mess and canteen facilities were very nice, but there was no medical facility available. Some sports facilities were nice, like cricket. There were good-quality books found in the library, and different librarians interacted with each other. The infrastructure of the college was very nice. Different college students love to come to Dav College, and the quality of food in the mess and canteen was nice, and different types of food and dishes were there. The college was very good at different kinds of games.
Faculty: The teaching quality was decent, neither too good nor too bad. Some teachers were helpful, and some were not. This course opens the pathway for students to gain knowledge in different fields. The college exams were decent, and the passing percentage is 33%. Exams were decent in the college, with a proper strictness. The course of B.A. made students ready for PG courses that may help in finding nice placements.
Other: B.A. is a UG course that helps us to know more about the field. There was scope for getting more jobs and prominent seats. A lot of events and club meetings happened in the college. There was a lot of crowd and a nice environment. Different kinds of scholarships were available, including NSS.

College is the best in Chandigarh.
Placements: 30% of students got placements. The highest package was 10 LPA. 40% of students got internships but mostly students did not get any opportunity for jobs which may be their fault on campus. Overall, the college is the best and I will recommend it to everyone.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college was best. But one thing there was no proper drinking water. The classrooms were neat and clean but there were no ACs in the classrooms. Even in the college canteen which was very disappointing. There must be ACs in classroom and canteen.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful. They even helped students off duty too. The curriculum was very good, it made us industry-ready. There were total four exams in 2 semesters, one of class test and another one was at university level. The passing percentage was 30%.

    Reality of DAV College Chandigarh.
Placements: Above 70 percent of students were present in my class, and there are no placements in this college. Placement opportunities will be available for other courses offered in this college, and the placements are average. Many companies visit the college often and pick the best students.
Infrastructure: The canteen is good, and the food is tasty. AC is not available in all classes, but the classroom conditions are good. Sports and games are included, and students can participate in competitions. Medical facilities are also available and good. The food quality is good, but the prices are somewhat high.
Faculty: The faculty are good at teaching and are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Semester exams are easy to pass and not very difficult; many students pass the exams very easily. Faculty are friendly by nature, and you can interact with them easily to clear your doubts.

It has a vibrant campus life with great faculty members.
Placements: Placements are offered in an average number, mostly by private companies, with very low salaries and high working hours. There is not much exposure about this to first and second-year students, and no one has been placed from my course yet. Mostly, opportunities are for third-year students only.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is outstanding with well-working Wi-Fi, AC classrooms, computer labs, a library, a reading hall, 6 canteens, laundry service, and a medical room. Sports department offers numerous opportunities. There are hostels for both boys and girls with good facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and knowledgeable, with good prior teaching experience. I believe our education system must offer a curriculum that is more rewarding and emphasizes hands-on learning rather than rote learning. Semester exams are not very difficult, but still, only half students are able to pass exams due to their negligence.
Other: I chose this course out of my interest in the subject and this college because of its teachers, reputation, and alumni network. The annual festival is conducted for 3 days with 3 different states' themes like HP, Haryana, and Punjab. The campus crowd is really vibrant with students from all over India as well as international students. There is scholarship in both academic and sports spheres. There is an exciting opportunity for cricket players as world world-famous coach Yograj Singh teaches here.

It’s a good college with a nice environment, making it easy to make new friends and enjoy good food.
Placements: 40% of college students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at DAV College face issues with placement. The lowest salary package offered to students is around 5 lakhs per year, while the highest reaches about 18 lakhs annually. Recruiting companies from abroad will also participate in hiring events. Internship opportunities are minimal, and very few students secure jobs directly through the college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is too good, according to the fee. Labs are also available according to their courses. Wi-Fi is available for all the students everyone can use it. The hostel is also excellent, in one room, two students staying in AC rooms are too expensive in comparison to non-AC rooms.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and kind, with well-qualified teachers who are continuing their studies. The curriculum is relevant, and it prepares students for the industry. Exams can be tough or easy, depending on your knowledge and preparation.
Other: There is a three-night festival, Star Night, held every year, featuring singers from Haryana, Punjab, and Himachal.

Overall good but could be more better.
Placements: I do not know much about placement, but you can find the information regarding placement on our college website. Many companies' advertisements are being posted on our notice section of the students' portals regarding the placement. The college has a tie-up with many companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for students in the college campus, but it is not available everywhere in the college. Labs are constructed, but I never visited as I'm from a different department. Windows are broken in most of the classes and nails and screws of benches tears our jeans. The library is good, different books are available, and there's a reading hall as well as air-conditioners are available in the library.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and knowledgeable. They help in nation-building. They explain every topic many times if you didn't understand even for a single student. It is a great experience with teachers. The pass percentage of the university is 33%, but for 1 year it was 40%. Semester examinations are easy if you study. If you don't study, that's difficult.
