Mid-college with mass recruitment, good events, and extracurricular activities.
Placements: Around 75% of students get placed in my course. The highest package is 58 LPA, offered by Microsoft. I do not know the lowest package. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Infosys, and Wipro. Around 60% of the students get internships through their own efforts. Top roles offered are Web Developer, AI/ML Engineer, Data Scientist, and Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: We have laboratories, classrooms with high-speed Wi-Fi, and a digital library with isolated study rooms. There are multiple buildings, each dedicated to different departments with their own laboratories and facilities. I am not a hostel student, but the NRI hostels are very comfortable.
Faculty: Teachers are academically helpful, but they are not the best in every aspect. The curriculum does not fully prepare students for the industry, and much of the teaching is outdated. The semester examinations are not very hard.
Other: I love Computer Science because of the curriculum. Events and extracurricular activities are good.

Placements: 26.83% of students got placed in Biotechnology. While many others opted for higher studies. The highest package on campus was 56 LPA. The average was 8 to 12 LPA. CSE branch had the highest placements. Companies like Infosys, Mahindra & Mahindra, HCL Technologies, Wipro, JPMorgan Chase, and other top IT companies recruited students.
Infrastructure: The department provides good labs and classrooms with the latest equipment. Wi-Fi is available in the library. The hostel food is good, which balances hostel life. Facilities like a gym, tennis court, football ground, and basketball court are available for students.
Faculty: All faculty members are qualified professors with postgraduate degrees, and most also hold Ph.D. degrees. The course is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The passing percentage is around 40%. Attendance requirement is 75%, and college timings are from 9 to 5.

I am from the management quota, so I pay around 5 lakhs per year.
Placements: The highest package offered is 35 LPA, and some reports mention that it is 56 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 5.4-5.9 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Dell, Infosys, Cisco, Cognizant, Capgemini, LTIMindtree, Ernst & Young (EY), etc., hire students.
Infrastructure: Hostel food is not good, especially for North Indians people, so they have to survive in the hostel. The hostel has only 3 or 4-sharing rooms. The fee is around 2.5 lakhs per year for a hostel with common washrooms. There is no fan in the room. It provides a single table fan for every student.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Exams are not hard, but not so easy. Every teacher is very understanding, but some teachers are very strict. In college, there is a mandatory 75 percent attendance, so we have to maintain it. Sometimes, they conduct parent-teacher meetings in the first year.

Review of the ECE course in Dayananda Sagar College Of Engineering.
Placements: 80 percent of students get placed. The highest package offered by Texas Instruments is 20.83 LPA for 8 students. If we work hard, we will get a good package. The majority of students are placed with a package that ranges between 5-7 LPA. Good students are placed with a package of above 10 LPA, and only a few students got it.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Labs are great, and they are actually worth it. Buildings and the garden are great. The campus is very lively and happening.
Faculty: Faculty members are hit or miss. Everyone is qualified, and everyone has done some research. Not everyone is great with students. Some teachers think that being strict and intimidating is good, which isn't true. Every VTU college has a mandatory 85 percent attendance, which hinders self learning. Every college has an outdated course curriculum, so self-learning is important.
Other: There are many great clubs. Events are organised regularly. The place has a good connection with the rest of the city. It is just 1 KM from the JP Nagar metro station, and it's convenient.

Overall, the college is good and worth it.
Placements: Almost 90 percent of students get placed in the CSE department. The highest package offered off-campus is 60 LPA, and on-campus is 50 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, etc., visit the campus for placements. The college has made internships mandatory for students, and every student gets an internship. Companies hire students for SDE and junior roles.
Infrastructure: The CSE department has a good building, well-equipped labs, classrooms with Wi-Fi, and a well-decorated and equipped library. Overall, the infrastructure is good. The hostel is good, and rooms are spacious. The mess food is okay. The college has 2 canteens. The food is okay. Sports facilities are not that good, and only one ground is available.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and make concepts easy to understand. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes us industry-ready. It increases our skills. Some subjects need improvement. Semester exams are easy, and one can score a good CGPA if they study a little bit. Almost 98 percent of students pass exams.

A short overveiw on the college.
Placements: The highest was 14 LPA and the least was 3.4 LPA, and just 20 students were selected for jobs from placements out of 59. Almost 25% of the students got internships, and since I have time to complete my course, there is much to know about placements in my college. This data was collected by me from the seniors.
Infrastructure: Their infrastructure is good. The library is quite good and has a number of sources, and the classroom is also quite decent, but the labs are well maintained. There are 2 boys' hostels, and both have different schemes and structures, but it only has one ground, which is for football. In the same ground, there are 3-4 cricket lanes, so football is played in the morning and later in the day is cricket. It has just 1 basketball and 1 tennis court and no signs for indoor sports, but there is a college gym available.
Faculty: Teachers are unique in their own way; overall, they are okay. They focus on covering the syllabus more than making the classroom interactive, and the semester exams are unpredictable. Our college is affiliated to VTU, but since it is autonomous, I guess they make their own papers.
