It is a good college with a compact price range.

Placements: I am a student from B.Tech mechanical department 2010-2014. It's tough to get placement in the mechanical department. Some of IT-related, and service-related company visit DEC for placement purpose. If you are in the IT department, it is easy to get placed. If you want placements in the mechanical department, then you have to do it on your own. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. I am placed in Japan MNC.

Infrastructure: Classroom and library are quite good, clean and air-conditioned. Classrooms are spacious, and an auditorium is well-maintained. The canteen is just ordinary, which serves normal diet food.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. All are well-experienced from well-recognised universities. They have good exposure to the industry and has good command on their subject. The campus arranges industry visit to get students practical knowledge.

Other: The college organises only one fest on every annual year. The campus has an open area in a very quiet place. So students feel calm in its surroundings.
