This college is the best in many ways, like the placement, the food, and the low.

Placements: There are 80% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. There are many companies like Ajanta, Mahindra, etc. 70% of students got internships from my course at companies like Mahindra, TVS, Suzuki, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities like the library, Wi-Fi, and labs are available in my course. The most used facility is the library. The quality of food is very good, and the medical services are much better. There are many sports and games available in the hostel, like cricket, football, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they are qualified and knowledgeable. This course curriculum is relevant. Of course, it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult for those students who don't study in class. Teachers guide us and make the exam easier. The pass percentage is 90%.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in it. There are many benefits in my course; it teaches us many things, and the chance of placement is high. I don’t think anyone would disagree.

Overall, experience was good.

Placements: Internship, placement in private jobs and other government field motivation. And yes, if anyone wants placement, they should score more than 60%. In SKMU Deoghar College, they provide you with many courses, including B.Sc., M.Sc., B.A., M.A., B.Ed., etc. This college is good all over Deoghar.

Infrastructure: Canteen food was good. Medical facilities are available. Many people who like sports and games have a huge facility to play their sports and games. They provide you with enough space, and in our college, they also provide you with NCC classes.

Faculty: All teachers help us to learn more and understand better, and give us smooth and daily life examples, that's why exams were good and the pass percentage was 50%. Many teachers are truly supportive because they always help you. They understand your problems and help with your studies by providing materials.

Other: All the events, fests, and overall curriculum were good.

Placements: I completed my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Deoghar College in 2025. Our college did not offer campus placements, but many students secured jobs and internships on their own through platforms like Internshala, LinkedIn, and local organizations in roles such as content writing, teaching, and digital marketing.

Infrastructure: Our college offers basic facilities like classrooms, a library, and limited Wi-Fi. There are no dedicated labs for the B.A. department. Hostel and mess facilities are average and food is simple. Sports options are available, but medical support is limited.

Faculty: Teachers at Deoghar College are helpful, well-qualified, and have good subject knowledge, although their teaching methods remain mostly traditional. The B.A. curriculum covers fundamental topics but lacks industry-specific skills or practical exposure. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty with a pass percentage of around 70%-80%, making it manageable for most students. More modern teaching methods and career-focused additions could enhance the course further.

Other: I chose B.A., to build a strong foundation in the humanities and prepare for competitive exams. The best part is the flexibility to explore various subjects. However, practical exposure and skill-based learning could be improved. Campus life is simple with limited events and activities. The crowd is friendly, connectivity is decent, and scholarships are available for eligible students.

One of the best colleges in Deoghar.

Placements: With 85% placement guaranteed, the highest package being 12 LPA and the average package 6-7 LPA. Top companies like TCS and Byjus recruit here. Most students got internships at Byjus, so if you are searching for a good college in your hometown Deoghar, you must go for it because none of the colleges is better than this one, as this place is also my hometown and I know it better.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is the best, and it is one of the best colleges in Deoghar for higher degrees. The college is affiliated with Sidhu Kanhu Murmu University, which is also the best university. Classrooms are always clean and well maintained by the authorities, and the college authorities are very responsible and, most importantly, talk to students very politely.

Faculty: The teachers were very helpful to us, and they were highly qualified and dignified. Semester exams are moderate. If you study well, you will absolutely pass. The teachers are very helpful and prepare the students for the industry. From my personal experience, I can say that without any hesitation, one can go for it.

About my college and its facilities.

Placements: In this college, total number of students are around 5,000 and there is no package offered in my college. Top courses in my college are B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com. No companies come to the college to recruit students. Internship is offereed by Reliance and many companies.

Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi facility is available for all students and there is also a science lab for BSc students. Library facilities are also available on college campus. Classrooms are very neat, clean, and well-maintained. Sports programs are also organised by the college.

Faculty: In this college, teachers are very helpful to students and clear all doubts. Teachers are very good, and semester exam syllabus is according to class lectures. Passing marks are 33 and full marks are 100. Exams are conducted every six months.

Other: I chose BSc chemistry honours because when I was in 12th class, I pursued Science. Generally, events are organised on special days.

It is good for students because the teacher are full supportive and teaches well.

Placements: 30 to 35 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest package offered in my course is 1 Lacs per annum and the lowest package offered in my batch is 70 thousand per annum. Top recruiting companies for our courses are nestle, uniliver. Top roles offered in my course is sales man job.

Infrastructure: In our course we do not get so much facilities. We do not get Wi-Fi connections for us every day. And we get a limited amount of Wi-Fi. We get daily 100 to 150 mb for each student. For arts students their were no labs available. The facilities of our hostel were quite good. We get good foods maximum times but we had also eaten bad quality foods some day. But that was okay because bad food for some days are ignor able. Medical facilities are good for all of us medicines are available all the times for us.

Faculty: Our teachers are knowledgeable and helpful fir us they were very focused on us. We can ask any questions related to our studies and the teachers try their best to solve our problems. Yes this course is curriculum are revelant. Yes this make the students industry ready in many ways. The semester exams were tough for us but if you studied well it will be easy for us.

Other: I chose that course because I was not so good in Maths and I always wanted to be a IAS officer. According to me the things improve about my course is college is not taking our regular class so college mango meant have to improve on this topic of regular class.

UG Degree (3 year) : In year 2018-19, for 3 year UG Degree, a total of 2140 students were admitted at Deoghar College, SKMU and 1932 completed their graduation in 2020-21. Out of 1932 students 72 were placed with median salary of INR 336000 and 1698 students opted for higher studies. A total of 3539 students were admitted in year 2019-20 for 3 year UG degree at Deoghar College, SKMUand 3369 completed their graduation in 2021-22. Out of 3369 students 115 were placed with median salary of INR 53600 and 2005 students opted for higher studies. PG Degree (2 year) : In year 2019-20, for 2 year PG Degree, a total of 745 students were admitted at Deoghar College, SKMU and 645 completed their graduation in 2020-21.
