Below-average infrastructure.
Placements: Junior assistant engineer, core engineer, senior engineer. This is all what I have heard, but the first batch of our department has not graduated yet. We don't actually know if we would have a different placement drive or if we could participate with IET DAVVians in the placement drive. If we sit in the placement, we could get an average CTC of 6 Lacs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very poor. Labs are also not well-equipped. The library is not maintained, hygiene of washrooms is not maintained. There are no ACs or coolers, the building is also very old, I think it's not been whitewashed in 30 years. There are smart classrooms, but the projector is also not working.
Faculty: Semester exams are very difficult, you have to study hard to get good marks but faculty support is provided to guide you through the exam structure. The end semester paper is made by your own teachers so if you have studied, you will definitely get good marks. There are three internals and 1 main exam out of which the best of three is taken for it.
