Best college to seek.
Placements: There are many students getting placed here. As of now, the packages range from 5 LPA - 7 LPA and more. We have recruiters like Deloitte, TCS, Accenture, and many other tech and non-tech companies. About 70% of the students got internships before they got placed, and many of them got PPO. Top roles offered are developer and engineer.
Infrastructure: We have a very large 33-acre campus hosting a good amount of green species. We have lush green campus. We have big classrooms with smart boards and projectors in each class. We have Wi-Fi all over campus. We also have a huge library with an outstanding amount of books to read. We have well-equipped labs with all the resources. The hostels here are very secure, and the food that is provided is organically grown in our own campus garden. We have large facilities for games and sports. College also provides ambulances.
Faculty: Teachers here are very well-qualified and helpful. They understand the needs of students and help them out. Since the institute is affiliated with RGPV. There is a drawback of its old and unrevised course, which I guess should be revised and could be better according to the industry. But our college tries to maintain the competition with the other universities so that we are industry ready via SIG's and other clubs.
Other: I chose this course at IIST because it is the best they provide. The best thing I like about this course is that it is very relevant to today's industry. One thing that could be improved is that the syllabus should be revised with new technology. The curriculum should be modern and include new terms. The events and fests here are the best of all colleges around the campus. Crowd is very good. We don't have useless students. Here, the crowd is very ambitious. We get a variety of scholarships.

An eye-opening review of my college, IIST.
Placements: The highest package is up to 44 LPA (approximately $1500 LPA in one case in USD). The average/median package is around 4.95 LPA (NIRF), with some reports citing 4.5 LPA as average, and 4.5 LPA median in earlier years. The reports from earlier years (2022-23) show a median of 3.5 LPA, later rising to 4.5-4.95 LPA.
Infrastructure: The entire campus, including hostels, classrooms, labs, auditoriums, seminar halls, and corridors, is Wi-Fi enabled with a leased line bandwidth recently upgraded to 310 Mbps. ICT-enabled classrooms and labs include digital slates, document cameras, capture systems, response systems, lecture recording (Zoom/Google Classroom), supporting blended learning. A dedicated language and communication lab with 62 computers and licensed software supports spoken English and communication training. The central library is fully computerized with an Integrated Library Management System, OPAC, barcoding, and automated issue/return, with CCTV monitoring. The library holds 73,781 printed books, 10,685 e-books, and hundreds of video lectures and simulations in engineering.
Faculty: The faculty members are generally well-qualified, with many holding PhDs and industry experience. Department heads like Dr. Sathish Kumar Penchala (CSE-AI/ML) and Dr. Rich Gupta (CSE, IoT & Cybersecurity) bring strong research and teaching credentials. Students praise faculty for being approachable, helpful in doubt-solving and mentoring, and combining theory with practical examples. Some students feel that certain faculty need better teaching methods, and that course delivery can at times be too strict or flexible.
Other: Most students highlight the value of SiGNs (Skill Improvement Groups), focusing on coding, AI/ML, full-stack, and hackathons like the Smart India Hackathon. Students get real-world problem-solving guidance from the faculty.

The college is the best. It is the best for students who are looking for an eco-friendly college.
Placements: Generally, admission is based on merit cum, JEE marks, and 12th marks percentage, which matters most. I heard from seniors that the placements are good only if we are eager to learn new skills so for placements we should learn new skills. The highest package ranges between 30-40 LPA. The average package ranges between 3-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good with the green environment. Wi-Fi is only available in the library, and the network speed is fast only in the library. All classrooms have a smart board by which learning gets easier. The quality of the food in the mess is good. Food is prepared on a daily basis, and food is different every day.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful if we respect them properly. They all have good knowledge of their main subject. Semester exams are somewhere equivalent to the final exam but teachers will already tell the main question so we do not have to worry about it.
Other: I chose this course as I am interested in coding and making new projects. SIG makes this course more valuable as it focuses on career development.

I am totally satisfied with this.
Placements: The highest placement goes to 44 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA which is pretty good. Faculty is also so responsible and good about it. Placement community is also good but this year's placement is low as compared to the previous year and they provide you internships too.
Infrastructure: Every classroom has a smartboard and air-conditioning facility and in each class, there are 5 fans and the benches are okay not that good. Classrooms are big and Wi-Fi is on the whole campus. There are more than 5 computer labs and each lab has more than 80 computers. It has the biggest library in Indore and lots of books are there. The sports room and canteen food are also good.
Faculty: In this college, you have to study and the faculty is also good. They help you and they are good. Exam levels are tough sometimes and sometimes easy. The passing percentage is 35% it is an RGPV-based college its curriculum is made on the basis of what every student studies.

My college has eco friendly campus and very good teaching.
Placements: IIST Indore attracts several prominent companies across various sectors like Google, SOC, and Cisco. Around 90% of students get placed, and almost all get internship opportunities with a good stipend. My college offers B.Tech degrees in CSE, Civil, Mechanical, and AIML.
Infrastructure: My college, IIST, has good infrastructure, like computer systems and digital boards. My college library has around 4,000 books and provides nice chair-and-table facilities, which help me a lot.
Faculty: Almost all faculty members are Ph.D. qualified and have good knowledge about their subjects. The job training, like aptitude skill improvement, is provided through a group that teaches us coding languages from the 1st semester. The college also teaches us good communication skills. Faculty members and staff are very good at teaching and help all students with study-related topics.

Placements: The placements of this college are quite good. I have asked my seniors about the previous year's placements and got to know that the highest package was around 40 LPA. The average salary is around 5 LPA - 6 LPA. I mean, this is quite good as compared to other colleges.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is decent as the campus has a big ground for sports. College campus is also big. The college has Wi-Fi facilities too for the students. Library for helping students with their studies. The classrooms contain smart boards for learning.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and experienced in their respective fields and help a lot when we asked doubts to them. The mid-semester tests are also conducted as I am from B.Tech. We have 2 mid-semester tests in a semester and teachers also teaches on smart boards.
Other: As I know, the senior said that my choice is good choosing this college. Because as a private college, it has a good campus and decent placements too.

Placements: IIST provides internships for students, and the top recruiting companies that come to IIST are Cisco, Hexaware, TCS, Walkover, ConsultAdd, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture, CapitalVia, Cognizant, etc. Roles offered to students are according to their skills.
Infrastructure: Indore Institute of Science and Technology provides excellent infrastructure and an environment for students to grow themselves. They provide Wi-Fi facility for students, and the library of IIST contains 75,000 books, which help students in various ways.
Faculty: Indore Institute of Science and Technology has amazing faculty members who are very helpful and knowledgeable. They work with students and provide all possible support for their work. Faculty members of IIST have excellent teaching skills, and they make students industry-ready.

Infrastructure: I am living in the hostel of IIST Indore named Varahmihir Boys Hostel. The total yearly fee of the hostel is 1.2 lakhs with Rs. 5,000 caution money. Overall, it is a good college with a green campus in Indore. The full green campus is spread over more than 40 acers of land. There are various sports courts for different sports on our campus.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are doctorates in their respective fields. They have good teaching experience. They are very helpful and provide us with a terrific way to deal with daily life problems and also engineering problems. Skill improvement programs are conducted for development.

As you have cleared JEE Mains and you have passed your 12th with first division, you can easily get IT branch in various private engineering colleges.
But it will be a bit difficult to get enrolled in IT in a government college.
But, for sure, you can get IT in private institutes easily.

NO, there is no other exam conducted except JEE Mains for admission but you can try out for college level counselling (CLC) in which students get admission on their 10th and 12th percentage.
