IIST provides a structured and supportive environment for strong academic and career growth.
Placements: As a first-year B.Tech CSE student at IIST, I feel the college has a well planned and structured approach towards placements. Average package increases to 5.89 LPA. It reflects continuous improvement. Placement preparation begins from the first year. It allows students to develop skills gradually.
Infrastructure: As a day scholar at IIST, my experience with campus infrastructure is practical and academically supportive. Classrooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. It helps maintain focus during lectures. Laboratories are adequately equipped for regular practical sessions and coding work. Library provides a disciplined environment with useful materials for exam preparation and self study. Feedback from friends who stay in the hostel is positive regarding discipline. Manageable rooms, hygienic mess food, sports facilities and basic medical support. Infrastructure may not be luxurious but it is reliable and supports a serious, study oriented college life.
Faculty: The faculty at IIST is supportive, approachable and well qualified. Teachers explain concepts clearly. They encourage doubt solving and motivate students to perform better academically. Curriculum covers all essential core computer science subjects helping build a strong foundation. Students are encouraged to explore industry oriented skills through self learning, projects and internships. We have not yet appeared for end semester exams. Based on mid semester exams the difficulty level is moderate. Exams are concept based, manageable with regular study. They focus more on understanding than rote learning. Curriculum aligns with Industry 4.2 helping us understand current industry needs. Technical learning is supported through GDG and SIGs providing early coding exposure. Along with technical skills, equal importance is given to communication, leadership, and personality development through various clubs like the Lexicon Club, making the journey towards placements motivating and exciting.

Best college to seek.
Placements: There are many students getting placed here. As of now, the packages range from 5 LPA - 7 LPA and more. We have recruiters like Deloitte, TCS, Accenture, and many other tech and non-tech companies. About 70% of the students got internships before they got placed, and many of them got PPO. Top roles offered are developer and engineer.
Infrastructure: We have a very large 33-acre campus hosting a good amount of green species. We have lush green campus. We have big classrooms with smart boards and projectors in each class. We have Wi-Fi all over campus. We also have a huge library with an outstanding amount of books to read. We have well-equipped labs with all the resources. The hostels here are very secure, and the food that is provided is organically grown in our own campus garden. We have large facilities for games and sports. College also provides ambulances.
Faculty: Teachers here are very well-qualified and helpful. They understand the needs of students and help them out. Since the institute is affiliated with RGPV. There is a drawback of its old and unrevised course, which I guess should be revised and could be better according to the industry. But our college tries to maintain the competition with the other universities so that we are industry ready via SIG's and other clubs.
Other: I chose this course at IIST because it is the best they provide. The best thing I like about this course is that it is very relevant to today's industry. One thing that could be improved is that the syllabus should be revised with new technology. The curriculum should be modern and include new terms. The events and fests here are the best of all colleges around the campus. Crowd is very good. We don't have useless students. Here, the crowd is very ambitious. We get a variety of scholarships.

The college is the best. It is the best for students who are looking for an eco-friendly college.
Placements: Generally, admission is based on merit cum, JEE marks, and 12th marks percentage, which matters most. I heard from seniors that the placements are good only if we are eager to learn new skills so for placements we should learn new skills. The highest package ranges between 30-40 LPA. The average package ranges between 3-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good with the green environment. Wi-Fi is only available in the library, and the network speed is fast only in the library. All classrooms have a smart board by which learning gets easier. The quality of the food in the mess is good. Food is prepared on a daily basis, and food is different every day.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful if we respect them properly. They all have good knowledge of their main subject. Semester exams are somewhere equivalent to the final exam but teachers will already tell the main question so we do not have to worry about it.
Other: I chose this course as I am interested in coding and making new projects. SIG makes this course more valuable as it focuses on career development.

I am totally satisfied with this.
Placements: The highest placement goes to 44 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA which is pretty good. Faculty is also so responsible and good about it. Placement community is also good but this year's placement is low as compared to the previous year and they provide you internships too.
Infrastructure: Every classroom has a smartboard and air-conditioning facility and in each class, there are 5 fans and the benches are okay not that good. Classrooms are big and Wi-Fi is on the whole campus. There are more than 5 computer labs and each lab has more than 80 computers. It has the biggest library in Indore and lots of books are there. The sports room and canteen food are also good.
Faculty: In this college, you have to study and the faculty is also good. They help you and they are good. Exam levels are tough sometimes and sometimes easy. The passing percentage is 35% it is an RGPV-based college its curriculum is made on the basis of what every student studies.

My college has eco friendly campus and very good teaching.
Placements: IIST Indore attracts several prominent companies across various sectors like Google, SOC, and Cisco. Around 90% of students get placed, and almost all get internship opportunities with a good stipend. My college offers B.Tech degrees in CSE, Civil, Mechanical, and AIML.
Infrastructure: My college, IIST, has good infrastructure, like computer systems and digital boards. My college library has around 4,000 books and provides nice chair-and-table facilities, which help me a lot.
Faculty: Almost all faculty members are Ph.D. qualified and have good knowledge about their subjects. The job training, like aptitude skill improvement, is provided through a group that teaches us coding languages from the 1st semester. The college also teaches us good communication skills. Faculty members and staff are very good at teaching and help all students with study-related topics.

As you have cleared JEE Mains and you have passed your 12th with first division, you can easily get IT branch in various private engineering colleges.
But it will be a bit difficult to get enrolled in IT in a government college.
But, for sure, you can get IT in private institutes easily.

NO, there is no other exam conducted except JEE Mains for admission but you can try out for college level counselling (CLC) in which students get admission on their 10th and 12th percentage.
