It has strong academics with growing placements.

Placements: Civil engineering saw 60 percent of placements. The average package is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Tata Projects and Shapoorji Pallonji. 40 percent of students secure internships in reputed firms such as L&T and NCC. Roles like site engineering, design, or field like AutoCAD software, etc., are offered here.

Infrastructure: The Civil Engineering department at SGSIT Sindhor is well-equipped with special classrooms, Wi-Fi, modern labs, and a rich library that supports both academic and projects. Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms, regular maintenance, and basic medical support. The mess and canteen provide average food. Sports grounds and indoor games encourage recreation and fitness. Overall, the infrastructure balances academic and study life efficiency.

Faculty: Faculty members in civil engineering are qualified, supportive, and generally helpful in solving doubts. Teaching quality is good, but sometimes, more practical exposure could be added. SGSITS is a state college, so I can choose it for civil engineering.

Placements: Placements are average for my branch because only 50% of students were placed, with an average package of 6 LPA. The highest package is 16 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA this year. Top recruiters are L&T, Ultratech, ACC, etc. And about 90% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is also average, there aren't many things to share because there are dirty classrooms with improper arrangements, and Wi-Fi is only for faculty members. Labs are also dusty. Hostels are also average with average food, but sports facilities are good.

Faculty: Faculty members of our branch are very good because they are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They support us mentally, socially, and academically, and they are amazing in teaching qualities. The course curriculum is also relevant to our branch, and semester exams are also easy.

My college review in my own words.

Placements: There are hardly 60% of students placed in my course. The highest package is 25 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA this year. About 80% of students got internships either on their own or with the help of the college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my college is average. The condition of the classrooms is not good, but the department still has Wi-Fi facilities. There are also labs, but the arrangements are not proper. As I am a hosteller, in my opinion, the hostels are also average. There is no good food, but sports are good.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful. They support us mentally, socially, and academically. They are highly qualified, experienced, and also knowledgeable. They teach us in a very unique way. They are amazing. The course is also relevant, it makes students ready for future survival, and the semester exams are average.

Placements: The placement data for my college and branch is below average. It is an old branch, and it still isn’t worth the money. The highest package is about 12 LPA, while the lowest package is about 3 LPA. The expected average package is about 6 LPA, and almost 40 percent of students have secured internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is adequate, with average classrooms and Wi-Fi facilities available almost everywhere all the time. There is also a library on campus, and the condition of the hostels is good. The mess food is decent, and the sports facilities are satisfactory.

Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive, providing mental, social, and academic support. They are amazing, and their teaching style is commendable; we enjoy their company and studying together. The course content is relevant, and the semester exams present an average level of difficulty.

College is my life and I enjoyed it.

Placements: There are hardly placements at my college. About 30% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is about 10 LPA, and the lowest is about 3 LPA so overall below average placements are there. Even 60% of students got internships so they work on it.

Infrastructure: My department is one of the oldest departments of our college so the condition of the buildings is not good. But Wi-Fi is there. Good classrooms and labs are also there. We have a huge library and hostels are also average. There are 4 hostels in my college for students.

Faculty: Faculty members of my course are very good and they help. They are highly qualified and have a good knowledge of subjects. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are a little bit tough students still clear them and make a good CGPA.
