I am satisfied with my college because today what I am is only due to my college.
Placements: In my college placement opportunities are mostly given to the M.Sc. and B.Sc. students but M.A. students also get placement opportunities from some companies but opportunities are very less, in my college only 60% students get placement and also the stipend that provide by companies is also very less, the highest package given by any company in my college is 400000 per annum, the average package is 170000 per annum, and the lowest package is 60000 per annum. Top recruitment company in my college is amazon, Master Unions, Wipro, TCS and some other companies also come here but these companies do not provide much good placement opportunities they provide less stipend to students because students are not much skillful. In my college Devta Mahavidyalaya internship opportunities only given to very few students as it depends on the quality of students, the companies that provide internship opportunities are Amazon, Cisca, Wipro these companies most of the time provide unpaid internship but sometimes they provide paid opportunities but to very few students which have good skills.
Infrastructure: My college infrastructure is well and good, in my college classroom are also very well maintained they are airy, sitting benches in my college classroom are also very comfortable. In my college, there is a library where students can reads novel, journals and gain knowledge from them, in free time students ask from faculty to read novels and journals, in my college there are different kind of labs are also available, in these labs students perform different types of experiments that related to their course, but major problem is that Wi-Fi network connectivity is not too good in my college. My college also provides hostel facility for those students who live far from the college, there are different hostel for boys and girls, in hostel mess food is average, not too good not too bad. In my college there is a canteen where students can eat food of their choice, there is a dispensary where students get medical facility, there are lots of sports and games happening in my college, students take part actively in sport activities and enjoy a lot.
Faculty: In my college some faculty have completed their UG and PG both degree and they are well qualified, but some faculty have only completed their UG degree so overall qualification of faculty in my college is below average. Teaching style of faculty of my college is not too good as the number of students are too much in my classroom so it is difficult to understand topic in easy manner, my course curriculum is relevant and students get lots of opportunities after completing it they get good placement offers if students do my course seriously then they have lots of opportunities in future and it make industry ready. In my college there are two mid term exam happen and at the end final exam happen, exams are easy most of the exam paper comes from the college notes and if a student do regular study then they surely get good marks in this course, pass percentage of students in my college is around 80%.
Other: I choose this course because I have completed my M.A. degree from this college and I am very fond of geography and I want to explore this subject, the best thing in my course is that it is mostly based on the fact and it is easy to remember the fact by just reading them for sometimes, I think this course need some improvement like this course need improvement in technical area, this course is mostly theoretical I think it need improvement in technical field. In my college there are lots of tech and cultural fest happening mostly in the month of December to February, students take actively part in these fest and learn new skills from these fest, my college campus is too good, in my college students capacity is also too much, in my college UP government provide scholarship to students, students need to fill scholarship form to get scholarship and in the month of April students get their scholarship, there are lots of extra curricular activities in my college like sports day celebration, Festivals celebration and many more activities happening in my college.
