Review on Digboi College.

Placements: The placement rate has not been that good in recent years. Only one or hardly two placement drives were organized in the last three four years and companies that came were not that good. Studying Chemistry leads to various career opportunities in different fields, and these opportunities should be provided in this level.

Infrastructure: The overall course is good. The minimum facilities needed are there. There is a laboratory in the department, but some chemicals and other materials are not there due to which students find it difficult to perform certain practical. Classroom facilities are decent. Smart classroom and projector facilities are there.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. They interact with all students in a friendly manner and mentor every student throughout the course. The curriculum is upto date and well-organized. There are six semesters in the course, now eight according to NEP 2020.

I am dissatisfied with the college placement but the faculty members and infrastructure is good.

Placements: Above 90 marks students get placement. I genuinely don't know about the packages. Above 75% of students got internships in our college. Generally, our college offers placement on IOCL or ONGC. Students should learn very hard to get placement.

Infrastructure: The college campus is very big. Many courses are available in our college in every department. The hostel facility is also good. There are two main hostels. One boys hostel and one girls hostel. There is one library where Wi-Fi is available every time. The food quality of the canteen is good.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are Ph.D. holderS. They are very interactive. There is one HOD in every department. They are available for any doubt-solving. There are three exams per semester. Two sessional and one final exam. 40 marks of internal assessment is given.

Digboi college (best faculty members and experiences) .

Placements: Students should acquire atleast 60% marks for the honours subject in 12th Chemistry honours gives us chance fir job in IOCL. We can apply for IOCL in digboi duliajan etc. We can become a chemist, professor, chemi al engineer, pharmaceutical works and may more .

Infrastructure: There is proper Chemistry lab and all the supplements are available for the practical purpose There is a huge indoor stadium for the indoor games and all the outdoor sports kits are available in the college for any intercollege competition.

Faculty: The teacher were very helpful and supportive. The teaching quality was very good and understable The semester exams are very relevant to what us taught in the class. The pass marks are 18 out of 45 and there will be practical and assignments of 55 marks.

I would recommend joining this college.

Placements: Almost 60% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IOCL, ONGC, etc. Around 60-70% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: Our college has labs with many gadgets and machines. Laboratories are Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are very big and have a good environment. There are many hostel rooms. The hostel rooms are clean. There are three beds in each hostel room. The warden is good. The basketball court is available in our college.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are a bit difficult, but it helps us to get good grades in final exams. The pass percentage is 30%.

Other: I opted for this course because of the faculty members. For the last ten years, Digboi College is always in the top under Dibrugarh University.

Our college has a good infrastructure, and the environment is great and hygienic.

Placements: About 75% of students were placed from our course. None of the companies visit here. None of the students got internships.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course/department were good. Wi-Fi was not available, and there were labs in good condition. Classrooms were huge, clean, hygienic and had a good environment. The library was great, and all the books were available. Hostel facilities were not much good.

Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is great for students. The curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are a little tough. Teachers are good, honours and great. The principal is strict.

Other: Our college is good.
