Outstanding facilities are provided by Don Bosco College of Engineering.
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed in top companies like Goorej, Google, Amazon, IFB, etc. If students score above 8 CGPA with no backlogs, there is a high chance of placements every year. There is also a 6 months of internship in the 4th year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is amazing with spacious classrooms, good libraries, great labs with all types of resources, 3D printing rooms, a sports complex, research forums, and a fire building for collaborative business ideas and startups. There is free Wi-Fi provided.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-versed in their subjects as they take students in-depth into the subject they teach. The course seems very relevant to the practical world and makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 95%.
Other: I chose computer engineering because of my passion for coding and computers. The course provided here is amazing. There are a lot of events that take place in a month of the year like Pryocion, etc. The college focuses a lot on extracurricular activities. If I would want something to improve that would include a better canteen.

It has a lot of events, very helpful and well-qualified teachers, and pretty good infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 100% of students who did computer engineering have been placed in my college. The highest package wasn't much, INR 12 LPA. The average was around INR 5–6 LPA. A lot of companies, like Infosys, come to recruit students. The top roles offered have been that of software engineer, developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good, but our college doesn't have a hostel. The classrooms and labs are well maintained, though. The library also has a vast variety of books to gain knowledge from. Wi-Fi doesn't really work well; that's something they've got to improve.
Faculty: The teachers here are pretty good. They are well qualified and teach very well. They also help you with any doubt that you have and give you extra questions to practice. The course curriculum is that of Goa University, which is neither bad nor good, but I don't think it makes students ready to set foot in the industry. The semester exams are at a medium-difficult level. Even if you study a week before the exam, you can get pretty good marks.
Other: I chose this course as computer engineering has a lot of scope nowadays, and it's a job that can pay you well. The college has a lot of events, though, for students to showcase their talents.

Disgusting because of course curriculum, good placement every year, best faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: Around 60% students are placed and they had around 200000 to 400000 package. Our college has a separate training and placement cell which training students to get prepared for interview because of this cell there is gradually increasing percentage of students getting jobs in campus interview's itself.
Infrastructure: College has one of the best infrastructure in Goa we have free Wi-Fi networks. Canteen is not that big but they provide hygienic food to eat. There are security and camera's working 24*7 to provide security to students. There is elevator, AC in each computer Laboratory.
Faculty: Faculty are very good, their teaching quality is superb. All are properly qualified for same and even they help us doing different types of project off course. The main issue is that course curriculum is not up-to-date, Goan education system running 5-6 years behind.

Teaching quality is good, but the syllabus is terrible.
Placements: Almost 30% of students got placed in 7th semester itself, which is a very good number. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 10,000 per month and the highest salary offered was 40,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Persistent, TCS, etc. Top roles are not known yet because students have not joined so far. The lowest package offered in our course was 2.5 LPA, and the highest package offered was 8 LPA. I don't know the exact percentage, but some students got an internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college is clean, well maintained and there are good facilities provided for the students, even the washrooms are clean. There is no hostel facility in our college and canteen food is also not good, but sports has a good facility.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and their teaching pattern is good. They provide students with notes. It makes industry-ready because our placement team takes more efforts to make students ready for interviews so that they get placed in a good company and have a better future.
Other: I chose this course because of an interest in the IT sector as you can explore, and there is no limit to invent new things. They should have included new topics in our syllabus like android and all. In our campus has many events and activities.

I would say they are doing a good job until now.
Placements: Around 4.9% of the students got placed in my course till the present day. The lowest salary package offered till now, according to my knowledge is 2.1 LPA, and the highest is 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Persistence, IBM, Byjus, Pin click, Infosys, Dolat etc. The top roles offered are Developer, software engineer, back-end and front-end developer. Most of the students got an internship from my course.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for us are quite good in terms of labs, classroom, the library they are quite well maintained and good compared to other colleges. Wi-Fi facility is mediocre. We don't have a hostel, and the food available in the canteen is satisfactory, in fact, less than that. Sports and games facility is quite good.
Faculty: Our department teachers are helpful, they are qualified and knowledgeable and provide sufficient knowledge to us. Teaching quality of our department is good they are doing a good job. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready to some extent.
Other: Fest, campus crowd, connectivity surrounding extracurricular activities are good.

Good Infrastructure, Faculty and staff are excellent and are really supportive.
Placements: Around 25% of the students were placed during my batch. The highest package was around 5 Lacs p. a and the lowest package was around 1.2Lakh p. a. Top recruiting companies were Persistent and IBM. Top roles offered for our course was Software Developer. Around 70% students got Internship from our course in various companies across Goa including genora Infotech, etc.
Infrastructure: Since Ours was the first batch the infrastructure was quite limited but we had all the necessary facilities. However over the course of 4 years We had pretty good labs, Amazing Sports Facilities, A full fledged library, Computer Labs for various subjects, Seminar Halls, Wi-Fi, Very well-equipped workshops for the various branches of engineering. Even a indoor badminton and Table tennis court and well built classrooms, Restrooms etc. The only bad thing about the college is the canteen service which is not at par with the other facilities which are available.
Faculty: The College has a very young Teaching Staff who are always available to students, provide great support, very knowledgeable and helpful. Even After passing out from a college they always support the students in their endeavours and are always approachable. During 2015 we had an outdated syllabus which is a problem across tall the colleges associated with Goa university. The syllabus was outdated and left the students underprepared to be employed in the industry.
Other: I had a interest towards programming and working in course that had a role to play in various engineering fields. The course should have been more practical and should have been more relevant towards the need of the industry as well as customised to meet the future requirements and trends. The college had a good environment with a lot of events, good connectivity and a really good campus surroundings. The number of extra curricular activities were limited. And they could have a lot more in this area.

Good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: In the 2020 passing batch 17 students are placed in the 7th semester with more companies yet to come for placements. The highest being 4.4 LPA and the lowest 2.8lpa. The top recruiting companies are persistent, TCS, IBM, Indus Valley, Byjus, Citrix and a few others. And there are more companies like Fame and some other companies which recruit students for non technical jobs like marketing for the students that are interested in the sales field.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure available is very good. Our college has Wi-Fi facilities in most the places like the library and canteen while the labs have their own high-speed internet connection to the lab computers. The college has a football ground and a Futsal court along with a volleyball and basketball court. It also has indoor badminton court and table tennis tables available.
Faculty: All the teachers in the department are very knowledgeable and helpful. In case a problem can't be solved by them they make sure your problem is solved by taking the help of someone else. The teachers are very friendly and approachable. The current curriculum is relevant to the industry standard and with the curriculum there are many workshops organised to help the students learn new technologies.
Other: I choose this course because I always had an interest in computers and the software behind them. One of the best things in computer engineering field is that you keep learning new things and technologies continuously.

Review of Don Bosco College Of Engineering.
Placements: I don't know accurately about the placement rate, but it's about 18.6%. The highest salary package offered was 6.8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.4 LPA. Persistent Systems, IBM, Citrix, Wipro, are the top recruiting companies. Roles of a software engineer are offered.
Infrastructure: There is an availability of Wi-Fi facility on the campus. Labs are well maintained with adequate equipment. Classrooms are kept clean daily. The library is kept clean and organised books for research and detailed notes of different topics. There is no hostel facility on the campus. The quality of the food served in the canteen is good. There is no medical room as such, but the medicines are available in labs. Sports and games are held every year in various events.
Faculty: All faculty members are helpful and qualified. They are also knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. If we personally approach, they'll explain the way you understand. It depends on the individual that the knowledge they gain. The course curriculum doesn't make us industry ready, but with further research on what the industry requires, I'm sure we can be ready.
Other: I wanted to pick something for further studies, but I was interested in computer engineering, so I have chosen it to learn the different aspects of it. The college should provide practical work and exposure to industry with some amount of experiences in the field I'm interested in. Various events are held here.
