Located in Dehradun, the Doon Institute of Medical Sciences (also known as DIMS or DIMS Dehradun) is a subsidiary college of Shrimati Poorna Devi Memorial Trust. It is a private institute, recognised by UGC and established in 2015. DIMS Dehradun is affiliated with Uttarakhand Ayurved University and Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Medical University. The Institute is approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and the Uttarakhand Paramedical Council (UPC). Doon Institute of Medical Sciences course admissions are both merit and entrance-based. The institute offers the BPT, BSc, BAMS, and several other programmes at the UG level and the MSc programmes at the PG level.
