Review of Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College.

Placements: It is a 4-year course divided into 3+1 where 3 years is the course duration and the final year is a compulsory internship in the 7th and 8th semesters. All the students of the 6th semester get internships. There is a high chance for students to get a job through the internship.

Infrastructure: All the classrooms in our college have smartboards and all the required equipment for a better understanding of the course. Our campus provides free Wi-Fi connection for the betterment of students. There is a cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, and gym for the students. The food served in the canteen is good.

Faculty: All the professors in our course are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They have completed a master's degree or Ph.D. in optometry. Students gain relevant knowledge and skills to be ready for the industry and daily problems in their 2nd year.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty members. It has good placements and internships.

Placements: All pass-out students get placed, but the salary offered is not up to the mark. For internships, students get placed in the best hospital in India, which charges 1 lakh, and it is not affordable for all.

Infrastructure: I do not know about hostels. Classrooms and labs are not bad. Labs are better than classrooms. It does not clean classrooms or labs every day. They are very untidy, but labs have automated machines. I am literally frustrated. This is not a college, it is a school. Everyone is interested in their personal life.

Faculty: All faculty members are not good. They do partiality among students other than that exams are conducted on a regular basis. Students can cheat in exams. Faculty members are strict.

Other: Fests were conducted well.
