Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College review.

Faculty: The faculty in my course is helpful and knowledgeable. Most teachers are well qualified and explain topics clearly and they are approachable whenever we need guidance. The curriculum is mostly relevant and covers the important subjects though like most colleges some parts still felt a bit theory heavy. The semester exams are moderate not too easy and not too tough. If you attended classes and studied regularly passing was not a problem. Still backlog is a problem and makaut is unpredictable. The...

Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College is good for engineering and had good placements in 2019.

Faculty: The college faculty members are very helpful to us. They are qualified from top universities like NIT Durgapur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bombay, and IIT Delhi. Every student is prepared for the future. The semester exams are difficult, but if you study well, you will pass. Our faculty members are very friendly and interact with us in a friendly manner.

I love this course and also this college.

Faculty: All faculties are very helpful and well educated. They have good knowledge of the subjects they teach. The exam cell of the college is very helpful. During exams, there are many cameras, with the help of which no one can cheat. Our teachers also give us suggestions before the exams, which help us in our exams.

Supportive faculty members, good placements, and excellent infrastructure.

Faculty: MCA faculty at BCREC, Durgapur are highly qualified, supportive, and use practical teaching methods. The curriculum is industry-oriented, covering AI, ML, DBMS, and software development. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, focusing on both theory and application, with pass percentage of around 90-95 percent.

Supportive faculty, decent campus life, but it needs more industry-oriented curriculum.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, approachable, and knowledgeable in their respective fields. Many of them hold strong academic qualifications and have good subject expertise, though the teaching style may vary from teacher to teacher. Some focus more on theory, while others try to give practical insights.

To summarize-the college is good.

Faculty: All the faculty are graduates from colleges like NIT, IITs, and other top institutes. For most subjects, you get good teachers. But for a few faculty, you might not feel like they really teach well. Semester examinations are being held on time and in a disciplined manner. For most of the exam papers, you won't find them hard if you study. The course definitely helps to make you industry-ready, but you still have to put effort in your own to shine among your peers.

Our college is the best private college in West Bengal.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to us; they are qualified from big universities like Jadavpur University, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bombay, or others. They prepare every student for their future. Semester exams are easy for you if you prepare well for the exam.

It has supportive faculty and extraordinary infrastructure. It is worth the investment.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. A maximum of teachers are PhD holders. They have a great in-depth knowledge of a particular subject. They are humble and helpful. Their teaching quality is of top-class. The course curriculum is new and relevant. It makes students industry-ready in the IT field with specialisation in augmented reality and virtual reality. The difficulty level of exams is average, not hard, and not easy. If students study at least 2 hours a day, then they can pass easily with a decent...

Faculty members are quite decent and placements are average.

Faculty: The teaching quality is good. There is mandatory attendance as per MAKAUT. So we have to attend classes regularly and be attentive in class. Bunking classes are strictly prohibited as the teachers inform the parents by making a call home. The exams are slightly tough.

The college is good and decent. I am dissatisfied with the hostel infrastructure.

Faculty: Faculty members of our department are very good, supportive, helpful, and encouraging. They are well-qualified and have proper knowledge of their respective subjects. They guide students in their respective subjects which makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams conducted by the college are difficult to medium and invigilation is strict. The pass percentage in university exams is a minimum of 40% which is a decent mark.

Overall the college is good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is perfect they can repeat the topic if students aren't able to understand. The semester exam in our college is not as tough as we think it is simple if we study properly. Pass percentage of the semester exam is 30% to 40%.
