Based on website the latest data, you typically need to score 65 percentile or higher on the JEE Mains exam in order to be eligible for a B.Tech at the Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology. 1.GATE/ MHT-CET (Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test)/JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) scores are accepted by Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology for M.Tech. In most colleges of India administers the national-level GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) entrance exam to candidates seeking admission to postgraduate engineering programs.
2.GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) for Pharmacy specializations.
3.UGC-JRF (University Grants Commission-Junior Research Fellowship) for Research specializations.
4.MAT (Management Aptitude Test) for Management specializations.
5.JAM (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc.) for Mathematics and Applied Mathematics specializations.
6.CAT (Common Admission Test) for Management specializations.
A minimum of 50% in Class 12 (or its equivalent) is required to meet the eligibility requirements for the B.Tech programme at the Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology. As a result, you are fulfill the requirements for admission to the institute for a B.Tech programme with a 60% in Class 12. However, it should kept in mind that JEE Main or MAHCET scores are also a requirement for admission to the B.Tech program. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR M.Tech AT Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology:-
- Candidate should be an Indian National.
- Passed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent, with at least 50% marks (at least 45 % in case of Backward class categories and Person with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only)
- Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant course of Engineering and Technology as specified in the eligibility criteria for admission to a Post Graduate Degree course of the concerned University for which admission is being sought
- Obtained Non-Zero positive score in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology.
OR - For sponsored candidate, minimum two years of full time work experience in a registered firm / company/ industry/ educational and/or research institute / any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is sought.

The institue checks individuals performance in MHT CET for admission in B.Tech program. This year more than 6 lacs candididates registered for MHT CET while around 5,90,000 appeared for the exam.
The overall percentage of attendance rose from 77.49% in 2022 to 92.93% in 2023.
The minimum cutoff for 2023 is yet to be released. However, as per the previous data the expected cutoff could be 11047 - 121566.
Dr. D.Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology offers 10 full-time courses. The school offers UG, PG and Diploma level programmes in affiliation with Pune University.
