ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR M.Tech AT Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology:-

• Candidate should be an Indian National.
• Passed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent, with at least 50% marks (at least 45 % in case of Backward class categories and Person with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only)
• Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant course of Engineering and Technology as specified in the eligibility criteria for admission to a Post Graduate Degree course of the concerned University for which admission is being sought
• Obtained Non-Zero positive score in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology.

• For sponsored candidate, minimum two years of full time work experience in a registered firm / company/ industry/ educational and/or research institute / any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is sought.

DYPSOET Pune offers a two-year Master of Engineering (ME) which is considered similar to an MTech. As per the available information, taking direct admission to ME at DY Patil School of Engineering and Technology may not be possible. It is because the admission to the programme is entrance-based. Seats are allocated to applicants through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Maharashtra CET cell. The MHT CET M.Tech CAP is based on the applicants' GATE scores. UG B.E. B.Tech At the undergraduate level, DY Patil Engineering College offers a B.A.E. in Engineering for students interested in a career in Science and technology. The course is offered in seven different specializations over a period of four years. For the first time, students must pass level 10+2 or an equivalent grade in these subjects with the minimum grades specified by the university. In order to be considered for admission, suitable candidates must complete a joint entrance test.

DYPSOET Pune offers entrance-based admission to its ME programme. The institute accepts admissions through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Maharashtra CET cell (DTE). To participate in the CAP, candidates must have a valid GATE score. Hence, GATE is the entrance exam required to secure ME admission at DYPSOET Pune.
