Great college for BBA students.
Placements: I am currently pursuing BBA at VSICS, Sake Nagar, Kanpur. Placement opportunities are good compared to other colleges in Kanpur. The top recruiting companies including Wipro, Infosys, TCL, Dainik Jagaran, Tech Mahindra, Axis Bank, and HDFC Bank.
Infrastructure: VSICS Kanpur has smart classrooms Wi-Fi a well equipped library and computer labs. The hostel is clean and safe. The food quality is decent. Medical help is available. Sports gym and recreation facilities make campus life active and comfortable.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good with practical learning. The BBA curriculum is updated and industry relevant. Semester exams are moderately difficult and most students pass with good marks. The passing percentage is at least 35 percent in each subject.
Other: I chose BBA at VSICS Kanpur for its practical exposure and career scope. The campus crowd is friendly fests are fun and extracurricular activities are active. Connectivity is good. More industry visits and live projects can make the course even better.

Review of Dr Virendra Swarup Institute of Computer Studies (VSICS), Kanpur.
Placements: I was part of the BCA program at Dr. Virendra Swarup Institute of Computer Studies, Kanpur. A three-year undergraduate course affiliated with CSJMU, Kanpur, and approved by AICTE. In our passing-out batch, approximately 85–90% of students were successfully placed.
Infrastructure: This campus has a modern systems. It has high-speed internet and updated software tools. Labs support programming languages like Java, C, C++, and Python. There is a well-stocked library with technical books, journals, and e-resources. Classrooms are airy and clean. It has smart boards and projectors.
Faculty: Faculty is widely appreciated for being helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable. Especially in the BCA program. Students consistently praise the teaching quality. Noting that instructors blend theoretical concepts with practical applications. It makes complex topics easier to grasp.
Other: The course has a compact and relevant name.

It is the best value for money college in Kanpur, as the quality-to-money ratio is quite good.
Placements: According to my seniors, 85-90% of students got placed. The highest package is 24 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package ranges from 6-8 LPA. Top companies that recruited students are Syska, Reliance, Tata, Cognizant, etc. 60% of students got internships in the 2nd year, and 80% in the 3rd year. Top roles offered are marketing manager, business development executive, financial analyst, human resource manager, and operations manager.
Infrastructure: The college has a Wi-Fi table, and the speed is okay, with about 50 Mbps. Labs are clean and well-equipped. The library is small but sufficient. Overall, I would rate it 8 out of 10. Mess and canteen food are okay, and not much variety. An ambulance is present on campus almost at all times. A fair amount of sports and games are organised 2 times in a semester.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful and knowledgeable in their respective fields. Some teachers are a little arrogant. As far as I know, the course curriculum is relevant, and many students get internships and are later placed with a decent salary. Semester exams are a bit lengthy, but overall doable. The pass percentage is 80-88%.
Other: Since I am from a commerce background, I chose BBA. I wanted to study in Kanpur, so I chose this college. Many of my school friends have also joined it, so I figure it must be good.

Really good placements and affordable education for a middle-class kid.
Placements: All I can say about my college's placement is that it is above average and satisfactory seeing other colleges in Kanpur, VSICS offers the best placement. The average package of this college can be 3-4 LPA, and the highest package can move to 10-12 LPA. If you've knowledge and have studied the course, then you'll definitely get placed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is below average. Campus is not too big, it just has academic buildings only, i.e., there is no park in this campus, but rest all the facilities are good. Labs are proper functioning and the machinery is excellent. Classrooms are quite big, and the washrooms are neat and clean. The library also has a decent collection of books you need for your academics.
Faculty: Faculty members are 50-50. Some faculty members are just excellent; you'll be very happy to attend their classes and gain knowledge. On the other side, some are the worst; they just come to pass their time in classes. But overall, faculty members are very excellent, and they do their job very well. I liked them.
Other: I chose this course because it is very effective and cost-efficient compared to B.Tech. The best thing about this course is that it's a professional computer course and teaches you all the important skills. Something they could improve is increasing the number of labs per week. There are only 2 labs per week, which is very less. The college has 3-4 main fests, including Srijan, Energy, and Fun Fiesta, and many more small events take place throughout the year. Scholarship is given by the government, so if you're lucky, you can get up to a 40% scholarship of the total fees.

You can take admission here but it's not value for the money.
Placements: Not much placements are provided here. Very less number of companies come here for placement. Normally average package is about only 3 LPA - 5 LPA. I don't think you get good placement here, it's better off-campus placement rather than on-campus.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good at this college. But the problem is that they have air-conditioned but they don't open for juniors. Canteen is okay. Floors, doors, and stairs, everything I can say is not bad. The worst thing here is no ground that's the worst thing.
Faculty: Some faculty members are best like they are friendly in nature. But some are like a dictatorship type nature. They don't even listen to you. The exams are conducted here one time that is correct. Curriculum and end semester exams are conducted on different campuses.

Supportive faculty members, average facilities, and scope for improvement in industry exposure.
Placements: Around 50- 60% of students from my college get placed through campus. The highest package offered is 6 LPA, with an average of 2.5 to 3.5 LPA. Some top recruiters that visit our college include Wipro, HCL, Accenture, and BT. The roles include sales and marketing.
Infrastructure: My college offers basic labs, average classrooms, and limited Wi-Fi. Two libraries are available, but there is no hostel support. Sports and medical support are very minimal.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive, qualified, and explain topics very well. Teaching techniques are good. The course is somewhat relevant but needs updating for industry readiness. Semester exams are manageable. The pass percentage is around 70- 85%. Overall, it is a decent academic experience.
Other: I chose BBA for a strong foundation. The best part is the practical subjects and supportive faculty. The course needs more industry support, exposure, and live projects. Fests are average, the crowd is decent, and the campus is okay. Scholarships are available, but extracurricular activities need a boost. Overall, it is a decent college with scope for improvement in campus and studies.
