You can join if you want, but mostly placements are not for technical roles.

Placements: However, when it comes to placements, my overall experience was not very positive. Most of the companies that visited the campus were for non-technical roles, even though many students, including myself, came from technical backgrounds. As a result, there was a noticeable gap between what we studied and the opportunities we were offered during campus recruitment. Technical roles, especially in software development, IT, and core domains, were very limited.

Infrastructure: The college offers decent facilities with well-equipped labs, a resourceful library, and classrooms that support learning. However, the infrastructure could be upgraded further to meet modern standards and provide students with a better overall experience.

Faculty: The college provides basic facilities like labs, library, and classrooms that are helpful, but not up to the mark. Exam management is average and needs more efficiency. Overall, infrastructure and facilities require improvement. I will rate it average.

Really good placements and affordable education for a middle-class kid.

Placements: All I can say about my college's placement is that it is above average and satisfactory seeing other colleges in Kanpur, VSICS offers the best placement. The average package of this college can be 3-4 LPA, and the highest package can move to 10-12 LPA. If you've knowledge and have studied the course, then you'll definitely get placed.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is below average. Campus is not too big, it just has academic buildings only, i.e., there is no park in this campus, but rest all the facilities are good. Labs are proper functioning and the machinery is excellent. Classrooms are quite big, and the washrooms are neat and clean. The library also has a decent collection of books you need for your academics.

Faculty: Faculty members are 50-50. Some faculty members are just excellent; you'll be very happy to attend their classes and gain knowledge. On the other side, some are the worst; they just come to pass their time in classes. But overall, faculty members are very excellent, and they do their job very well. I liked them.

Other: I chose this course because it is very effective and cost-efficient compared to B.Tech. The best thing about this course is that it's a professional computer course and teaches you all the important skills. Something they could improve is increasing the number of labs per week. There are only 2 labs per week, which is very less. The college has 3-4 main fests, including Srijan, Energy, and Fun Fiesta, and many more small events take place throughout the year. Scholarship is given by the government, so if you're lucky, you can get up to a 40% scholarship of the total fees.

Review of Dr Virendra Swarup Institute of Computer Studies (VSICS).

Placements: The chances of placements are a bit low because companies are not that reachable in our college. But, they provide placements in management roles for our course BCA. They offer internships, but they are not that good. As we are entering the field of a technical background, they only provide management-based internships and jobs.

Infrastructure: There are games such as kabaddi, cricket, and badminton played in our college. There is a very hygienic canteen with tasty and healthy food. Cleanliness is very good, and all staff and students are very humble. They provide a ragging-free campus. Labs and classrooms are large but not equipped with very good air conditioning. Our library is rich with books and provides a very good environment.

Faculty: Our pass percentage is like all other colleges, around 38%, but faculty members are very good. However, the higher authorities, including the principal, are not that understanding. The exams are not difficult, they are of a moderate level of difficulty. I suggest the college may not be suitable for everyone, especially those coming from outside or from areas far away from Kanpur and Unnao.

I am absolutely satisfied because of the good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Around 75% of students got placed last year in my course. The highest package is 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 1.2 LPA. The average package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and Wipro. The top role offered in my course is a software developer. In our college, 80% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: In our college, we have facilities like Wi-Fi, a water cooler and an air-conditioner. We have 6 labs, 20 classrooms, and 1 library. We don't have a hostel facility. Our college is in an urban area that's why we don't have very large area to build a hostel and students are coming from nearby.

Faculty: Our teachers are highly dedicated and experienced educators with a deep passion for teaching. With a strong academic background and years of tutoring experience, they specialise in making difficult concepts easy to understand. Their friendly and patient approach helps students feel confident and supported. Using modern methods, real-life examples, and personalized attention, our teacher ensures every student achieves their full potential both in academics and in self-growth. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready for industry. Our semester exams are slightly difficult. The pass percentage is 33%.

Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in computer applications and this course has value for money. We have events, fests, and scholarships.

Dr. Virendra Swarup Institute of Computer Studies needs improvement.

Placements: I don't know the exact percentage of students passing, but more than half of the batch is placed. The highest package offered is approximately 5 LPA. The average package is around 2.5 LPA, and the lowest package is around 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Mahindra, Capgemini, and more. I don't know much about internships. Top roles offered are Software Developer and Manager.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi on campus. Classrooms are very tidy and clean all the time. Infrastructure is fresh all the time and well-maintained. Library is equal in size to a classroom. Toilets are also clean and tidy. Labs and auditorium are equipped with air conditioning. Our college has no hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, well-experienced, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good and worth of the time given to college. Course curriculum is very relevant, and the course is completed on time, giving some time to revise to the students. If students sincerely work with the teachers and sincerely study, then students may come out industry-ready. Semester exams are not very tough and rigid, just challenging and moderate for students who study regularly. Pass percentage is above 50%.

Other: Honesty, I chose this course because my father advised me to do so. I do like some of the coding taught in college. I would prefer a bigger campus as the campus size is so small. Events are regularly held and fests are also arranged time to time. Campus is somewhat crowded, and I like my friends here. Campus surroundings are clean and developed. I've filled out a scholarship but haven't received it yet. Extracurricular activities are also arranged.

so for taking a admission into a dr Virendra Swaroop institute of computer studies there are 800 seats in our college for BCA which is highest among the all college in Kanpur due to good education provided by our college.but take admission soon.as seats get filled soon.

So yes you can go BCA without having a subject as a maths in 10+2 but I want to tell one you thing from before that in BCA you will be having a maths as a subject in every semester There might be some problems then but overall you can go for it all the best.
