Review of DIET - Dumkal Institute Of Engineering And Technology.
Placements: If you are from the mechanical branch, then you can get placements, but the salary packages offered are very low. There are no placement opportunities for other branches, and they have to find jobs on their own. However, this department may help you. Previously, companies like TCS, HCL, etc., used to visit our college for placements. But currently, companies are not visiting our campus for placements.
Infrastructure: In our college, students can access free Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms are good, and the labs and library are also good. Currently, the canteen is closed, but the quality of the food served in the mess is better than many other hostels. Every year annual sports are organised where students can participate.
Faculty: I don't know about faculty members of any other departments and know only about our department. Faculty members of our department are very helpful and much qualified. So, they surely provide us with quality teaching. The course curriculum is relevant. If students can't learn what the industry requires, then it is their fault.

Review of Dumkal Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: The placements in the previous years were better than our batch. The companies that visited for our batch required mostly CSE and IT students, though some of the companies were allowing the students of other streams to take part in the selection process. The companies that visited for core streams were not providing good enough job prospects.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not bad as the college is situated away from the town, and the campus is huge. The college is run by the society, so there were many other colleges and schools around. The hostel was quite good, but the college building was not very big.
Faculty: The faculty were good. The college is affiliated to State University for Technical Education. The curriculum is at par with the other state universities. A major section of the faculty were not locals, so they were very helpful and available. Overall, the environment was good.

The only fault-campusing, its degrading every year. Not recommend any one.
Placements: Alright talking about placements, the college has always been fruitful to arrange campus interviews for the deserving students. The placement now is not that good like before but 30-40% studemts are still being placed every year. But is decreasing day by day. The college has lessened its ability for campus interviews.
Infrastructure: The whole 3 storeys college campus is high-speed Wi-Fi-campus. The building of the campus is divided into 4 blocks A, B, C, D. The labs of this college are fully equipped with all the necessary equipments. The classroom has projector in it, which helps students to learn diagrammatically. Sorry but the canteen is now closed and no food is available in the campus. The hostel is pretty modern and has attached bathroom with each room, a common room, play ground outside hostel, generator (during loadshedding) and the food is pretty but good.
Faculty: Not all teachers are good and highly qualified, there are few teachers who are very highly qualified and pretty knowledgeable. Anyway all the teachers are very helpful, those who want to study for real will get each and every help from the teachers. Not yet completed the course but yes useful.
Other: Every year the college students collect money for the social event occurs annually and a fresher's welcome is provided to the 1 st year takes admission in this college. The inter year cricket, football, volleyball tournament is the interesting part for the hostellers.

Good placements in 2017 and previous year also.
Placements: Here are huge opportunity for learning and placements is also level high. Our respected teachers helping to our educational purpose. And they also help us to guidance to our mentally problem solution like our gardens. Previous year 80% student get placements many big company from each Branch.
Infrastructure: There are huge facilities like labs, library, medical facilities, spots and game. Our library is too big here many books are available. You can collect for home studies and also reading in library. Wi-Fi are available to help studies. Labs are very moderate. We enjoy sports when teachers vs student held. Every student and teachers enjoy many kind of sports and game.
Faculty: Here course free also cheap (low). Our college management system is very modern and Willy maintenance. Here teaching quantity is too much respected. Our teachers are good as a man and as a teachers. There modern teaching methods are used. In this college you can sturdy in B.Tech, M.Tech, B.A. I. T etc.

Satisfied with the faculty. Good placement in 2013, and it has good infrastructure.
Placements: Very good placements are conducted by placement cell. TCS, HCL, and Wipro companies come here for the placements. Around 20-30 students are placed in TCS, and 8 students are placed in HCL. Around 75% of the students were placed in various companies. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 3.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is provided in every class and every room in the hostels. The classrooms are very good. The infrastructure of our college is very good. All the necessary books are there in the library. Always there is a doctor on the college premises for students and teachers.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well-qualified. The teachers are helpful all the time. Whenever we went to them, they are always ready to help us. The student to faculty ratio is 15:1. I got the industry exposure. List of all teaching methods of every faculty member was awesome.

The placements are poor but satisfied with the infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: There are very poor placements. About 0% placements are there during past few years. But the overall situations are same in whole West Bengal. As it is very much backwoods to Kolkata, the companies hardly go here for placement. But I hope, in few years, it will increase. If someone attained regular classes, they would not be disappointed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Almost 100% necessary laboratory equipment is available. The good teaching staff is there mainly in the civil engineering department. Every department has their separate building. This college has the website. Overall, the infrastructure is good enough.
Faculty: The faculty members are qualified enough especially in the civil department. The classrooms are nice. There is enough number of teachers for each subject. The laboratory assistants are not qualified enough. Management staff is not helpful personally. There are very few options for choosing subject to your interest.
Other: There are very few options for communication. Semester fees are very less. If someone is interested in doing B.Tech at low cost, this college is perfect for them. Boys'and girls' hostel are available. There are facilities like free Wi-Fi on the college campus, and enough books are available in the library for every student as free for the entire season. Uniforms are provided, and the campus is pretty good, but the canteen is closed for few days.
