ECR Aviation making personalities.

Placements: Placement is provided by the college management in many companies. After completing courses, we can enter the job market. There are many recruiting companies, like Indigo Airlines, etc. Also, Kempegowda International Airport Bangalore provides placement for our college.

Infrastructure: The hostel is inside the campus. A room consists of 4, 5, or 6 students, depending on the room. AC and non-AC rooms are available (limited). 60,000 per year is the fee for the college hostel, providing Kerala and Karnataka food with both cooks for three meals. The mess and kitchen are attached to the hostel.

Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and dedicated to students because the university will inspect the qualifications of the faculty members, so faculty members must be well-qualified and supportive. English is the language used between faculty members and students on campus and in college, respectively.

Other: This course is a combination of the IT industry and the aviation industry. Both industries are developing industries in the future. That is why I chose this course.

Supportive faculty, strong infrastructure, and vibrant campus life.

Placements: According to a 2024 review BCA AI batch of 2026, about 90% of students get placements. Another review BCA batch of 2020 indicated around an 80% placements. The internship recruiters included IBM and Robo Software. The placement recruiters included Indigo and SpiceJet.

Infrastructure: The campus featured well-equipped, AV-enabled classrooms, complemented by campus-wide, round-the-clock Wi-Fi facility available in both academic buildings and hostels. A well-stocked physical library offered both Indian and foreign editions, while a virtual library provided access to e-journals, digital databases, and Helinet digital resources.

Faculty: Helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable teachers. Students consistently said faculty members were very helpful, well-qualified, and highly knowledgeable. Teachers were described as supportive, friendly, and easily approachable. But, some batches mentioned occasional shortages or changes in staff.

Other: This is a personalized overview based on experiences of students in the BCA course 2021–2026 batch at ECR Institute of Management Studies, Udupi under Bangalore University. I was passionate about programming, and BCA offered the right mix of theory, practical labs, and project work. Hybrid specializations such as BCA with AI, Cyber Security, or Digital Marketing attracted me, helping me stand out during placements.

This is my personal experience-based review.

Placements: The avenge marks are required for BCA is enough to get placed in this college I. e 45% there is different additional course like Aviation, AI and Digital market the Student how got above 30 marks can go for internship the companies I don't know this.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are okay, but the teachers are friendly. However, during my time there, there was a lack of teachers; one teacher had to teach two or more subjects due to poor management. The time before exam feels should be clear they are strict in this case.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are good, qualified, and knowledgeable, but there aren't enough of them. The exam papers are good? Neither hard nor easy. A score of 23 marks is needed to pass, although this may vary by subject. The major is lack teachers are one of major issue .

Other: This course offers better job opportunities, but it is a highly competitive field. Marks are just numbers; you need skills to succeed in this field compared to other courses. However, this college should improve its lab facilities; they are more important than lectures. The functions and ceremonies gave us good memories.
