A balanced blend of learning, growth, and campus life at Ellenki.
Placements: Nearly 85% of our batch secured placements. The highest package offered is 16 LPA, which went to a student placed in a top product-based company. The average package is around 4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary is 3.6 LPA. Some of the major recruiters included Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Accenture.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the CSE (AI) course at Ellenki is quite decent. Our department has well-equipped computer labs with the latest systems and high-speed internet. Most of the labs are updated with AI and machine learning tools like python, tensorFlow, and R. Classrooms are spacious, and some are smart classrooms with projectors, which make presentations and learning more interactive.
Faculty: Faculty members for CSE (AI) are knowledgeable and supportive, with many professors encouraging project-based learning. The curriculum is well-structured, covering core AI concepts along with programming, data science, and machine learning. Regular workshops and industry talks add practical exposure. Exams are moderately tough, focusing more on application than written learning.
Other: Course is definitely value for money, especially considering the placement support and hands-on learning we get. The student crowd is diverse and competitive, which creates a motivating environment. Campus life is active with tech fests, cultural events, and clubs that keep things engaging beyond academics. Overall, a good balance of learning and fun.

Good tech exposure, fun crowd, and need an on-campus hostel.
Placements: I'm part of the current CSE batch, and although placements haven't started for us yet, seniors had about an 85% placement rate. Top recruiters include Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Deloitte, and Hexaware. There is a good mix of service-based and product-based companies. Internship opportunities are strong, especially through college tie-ups. Roles offered to seniors include app developer, support analyst, and QA engineer. We are encouraged to build portfolios and attend career prep sessions early on.
Infrastructure: The CSE block has upgraded systems and air-conditioned labs. Every floor has Wi-Fi routers and power backups. The IoT and cloud labs are especially good for project work. No hostel is a downside. Many of us commute daily or stay in nearby PGs. Canteen is hygienic but lacks variety. The library is peaceful and has a good digital collection. College bus service is reliable though.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and try to keep classes interactive. Some use case studies and live demos which help in understanding. Our course is aligned with current trends, including elective subjects in AI, cloud, and blockchain. Exams are fair and mostly concept-based. We are also asked to submit technical blogs and video demos for mini-projects.
Other: Considering the cost, the college offers a decent return. Placement support, lab access, and certification workshops make it worthwhile. The crowd is fun, lots of peer learning, and events like hackathons, cultural fests, and teach expose are regularly held. There's a robotics club and even a game dev team now.

Impressive facilities but limited extracurriculars.
Placements: Placements at Ellenki College are satisfactory overall. If you're from a popular branch like computer science or IT, you have plenty of opportunities, but for core branches, it's more challenging. The placement cell is supportive, and the training programs are useful, but they need to expand their network to include more industries and domains. That being said, many of my seniors land good jobs, so it's not bad at all.
Infrastructure: Labs for computer science are well-equipped with the latest software and hardware, and the Wi-Fi connectivity is reliable, which is crucial for coding and research. Classrooms are spacious, and the library has a decent collection of books, though more technical e-books could be added. The hostel rooms are good with basic facilities like beds, cupboards, and study tables. The Wi-Fi in the hostel is a bonus, though it sometimes gets slow during peak hours. The mess food is okay, but the menu could use some variety.
Faculty: Faculty across all departments are approachable and supportive, though teaching quality varies. Some professors go out of their way to mentor students, while others stick strictly to the syllabus. The curriculum is comprehensive but could include more interdisciplinary subjects. There is a good mix of core subjects and electives, but the focus on practical learning needs improvement. Exams are fair and cover the syllabus well, but there is a heavy focus on rote learning in some courses. Internal assessments are frequent, which keeps us engaged, but they can also feel overwhelming at times.
Other: The college provides good infrastructure and placements for fees charged. Scholarships are available, which makes it more affordable. The crowd is diverse but lacks active participation in extracurricular activities. Hostel life is decent, but the food quality in the mess could improve.

Need better in terms of campus life and extracurricular activities.
Placements: The highest package was around 11 LPA, with the average being 4 LPA, and the lowest around 3.5 LPA. Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, and Mindtree were the major recruiters. Some of our friends even got into product-based companies after college organized hackathon. Internships were offered to around 65% of students mostly in mid-level IT companies.
Infrastructure: The department has computer labs with internet, and each student gets access to a system during lab sessions. The classrooms are digital - friendly with projectors. I liked the tech-enabled seminar rooms and project rooms where we collaborated on our real-time projects.
Faculty: I've had a good experience with faculty members so far. The professors teaching subjects like Python, AI, and machine learning are very updated with real-world applications. We've also had guest lectures from industry professionals which added more clarity to theoretical topics.
Other: The college crowd is friendly, and there's a healthy mix of academic and extracurricular activities. The campus itself is not massive but neatly maintained, and there's always something happening. I used to take part in coding challenges and fests-great way to learn and make memories.

Review of Ellenki College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: I'm currently studying in the CSE-B batch. While our batch hasn't reached placements yet, the stats for seniors are promising. Around 85% were placed last year. Companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Deloitte, and Hexaware visited for placements. There's a good balance between product and service-based roles. Many seniors got internships via the college's industry tie-ups. Roles offered included QA engineer, web developer, and support associate. The college encourages us to prepare early with regular aptitude sessions and resume workshops.
Infrastructure: There's no hostel inside campus, which is a major drawback. Most students rely on PGs nearby. Library resources are excellent, and there are designated zones for study and project work. Canteen is okay. Clean but repetitive meals. The library is a good place to study and has enough reference material. Classrooms are clean, and most have digital boards or projectors. The college also has well-equipped labs, but there is no hostel, which is a miss.
Faculty: Our faculty members are quite supportive. Some use live demos and practical examples, which make the class more engaging. The syllabus is industry-relevant, with electives like blockchain, AI, and cloud computing. Exams test conceptual clarity more than written learning. We often create video presentations and write-ups for projects, which helps build a portfolio.
Other: The course is fairly priced based on what it offers. Lab facilities, placement help, and extra workshops make it worth the cost. The student crowd is collaborative. There's always some tech talk happening. Hackathons, cultural events, and fests bring in a good vibe. There are clubs for robotics, coding, and gaming, which are great for exploring interests outside academics.
