Insights on EMPI Business School.

Placements: The college provides good opportunities for internships as well as jobs. The average package of the college is Rs. 6,00,000. The college helps each and every individual in their placements. They provide mockup interview sessions and PDP sessions which help in placements.

Infrastructure: Facilities like a gym, Wi-Fi, canteen, lab, library, and classrooms with projectors are available in the college. The whole college is covered with Wi-Fi. There is also the Atal Incubation Centre (AIC LAB). The hostel facility is average and has options like AC/non-AC, and single-double-triple occupancy.

Faculty: There are overall 4 semesters in 2 year PGDM programme. Each semester contains presentations, student class participation, mid-term exams, and end-sem exams. Faculty members are very cooperative and good mentors. They help everyone with any issue. If you attend the classes regularly, then you get good marks in the semester.

Other: I chose this course as I want to enhance my practical knowledge as PGDM is more about practical rather than other courses like MBA. Events are organized by student-driven clubs of the college like a cultural club, sports club, and domain club.

Inside EMPI: academic excellence and social buzz.

Placements: So the batch size is 120 and placements are good for the seniors; all Big 4 were on campus alongside other big brands coming to the college. We have also been getting good internship companies with 10k as the average stipend, and the average for the final placements is 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure: Wi-Fi – high-speed internet; labs – well-equipped for practical learning; classrooms – modern with AI aids and library, and for HR students, an HR lab. Hostel facilities include: Quality rooms, food, medical, and sports for the students to engage in extracurricular activities.

Faculty: Faculty quality – teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, providing guidance and support to students. Curriculum – The course curriculum is relevant, incorporating industry-related topics. Exam difficulty – semester exams are challenging but fair.

Other: I chose this course due to my passion for the HR subject and how it offers personal and professional growth. The best part is gaining and understanding the practical aspects.

There are better opportunities to survive in the practical world with the help of EMPI.

Placements: As I am placed with one of the best companies in India, which is HDB Financial Services, the placement department always brings in companies that are required for students. Everyone in our batch is placed with internship opportunities in various companies like HUL, HDB Financial Services, Sennheiser, and Motilal Oswal.

Infrastructure: The hostel availability is so good that a student from any state can stay with the amenities provided by the hostel, which is properly clean and maintained. The quality of food available in the mess is good, and students can have their lunch properly according to timings, with no low quality provided.

Faculty: The faculty and the curriculum are the best, which help students a lot to gain the knowledge of the industry, as the faculty comes from corporate backgrounds and teaches us what is required for the corporate world. The exams conducted are very tough, and the papers contain practical questions and case studies.

Other: As PGDM provides practical knowledge, companies are willing to take candidates who have practical experience, and EMPI is a better platform to enhance those skills and have decent knowledge in post-graduation.

It is a good college, but they don't provide ROI.

Placements: The average package salary offered in placements was 3.5 LPA. Good companies like Hummel, Manpower, Less, ICICI, IDBI, Bajaj capital visited for placement. Last year almost all students were placed, but also some of them got the job on their own. Companies like Accenture and Gartner also visited here, but their hiring process is difficult comparatively.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Location of the college is decent, they provide Wi-Fi facility in the whole campus, the gym is also there, but medical facilities were poor. Hostel rooms are not so good, but canteen is bearable. Mess food is good, and they also provide bus facility till metro.

Faculty: Faculty members are decent, and guest faculty is also very experienced. They use the case study method, usually along with presentations. We get industry exposure we have recently visited ICD Bawal, ONGC and Parle. We also went to many conferences like Petrocoal.

Other: Events like 15th August, Janmashtami, Durga pooja are organised. Many competitions like speech, debate, and sports activities like badminton tournament, volleyball match and cricket are conducted in our college.

Satisfied because of the course structure and how things flow in.

Placements: The placements here are good with big companies coming like manpower group, itc, godrej, jaro etc. The placement cell works in full force to help the students as they can to help the students. They help with the summer internship also and bring good companies for the same.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi in the campus and hostels. HR lab, IBM labs and classes are well-equipped with projectors and boards. We have sports basketball area, volleyball area. They have good hygienic mess and canteens. Hostel rooms are decent and are as per the requirement of a student.

Faculty: The faculty members here are well trained and experienced. They help with all sort of problems. Visiting faculty members give us the insight of the industry and how things are working and how we can achieve better in our life. They groom us for the interview also.

The faculty is quite good for HR. Some well known faculty with good corporate background also come to teach at EMPI as visiting faculty. The average placement package is around 4.8 lacs. And, for selection you can apply through any of these exams (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT) with a minimum of 50 percentile

Well yes the size of students did fell last year but it was mainly because not much effort was taken by the college to advertise much, (perhaps because the college was booming with students earlier).
