Review of ESIC Dental College, Gulbarga.
Placements: The total strength in our class is about 59 students. The course is of 4 years, and in the 5th year we have to do an internship. During the internship, the stipend is 25k per month, after which, based on our academics, about 70 percent of the students get the bond where they applied.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best, and the hostel is awesome according to its fee, and the facilities are all there, like a bed, cupboard, chair, table, drawer, two lifts, and a water cooler, and any complaint is solved within two days. The timings are till 9.30 pm for the last entry.
Faculty: The staff is too good and their handwork is amazing The teaching is best compared to BDS course in other colleges Per year, three internals and a final exam is there to pass; we have to get a minimum score of 50 percent plus 75 percent attendance to pass.
Other: I chose this course because I didn't get an MBBS seat, and the best thing here is we have to do more practical work compared to theory reading; there is nothing to improve here. Every year we have Fest, Ganesh Chaturthi, Holi, some dentistry-related days celebration, freshers, and convocation, and per month we have two anti-ragging programs, and in Fest we do sports and culturals and many more fun things, and per year for state quota students, the SSP gives scholarships for OBCC (45k) and for SCST (45k).

I am satisfied with the ambiance of this college.
Placements: Our college provides great opportunities for government jobs. Students will easily get placed after passing out from this college. The highest salary package offered is 10.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 1.35 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Many companies visit our college to recruit students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. A hostel is available in our college. Our college provides all facilities like labs, a central library, digital classrooms, a great ambiance, etc. The food served in the mess is the best. Medical and recreational facilities are available in our college.
Faculty: Our faculty members are well-qualified. They provide good knowledge. They give their best. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is good.
Other: I opted for this course to become a doctor. The best thing about this course is that we deal with a specific portion of the body rather than the whole head and neck region, which attracted me more than MBBS which is a generalised degree program. There are very few government seats for BDS in India right now, so it should be taken into account and must be increased. There are many more things in BDS rather than seeing teeth. A BDS doctor acquires a very deep understanding of the subject, which is excellent. Our college organises many activities like curricular activities, fests, events, games, sports, extracurricular activities, cultural programs, exhibitions, etc.

Till now ESIC Dental College in Gulbarga, Karnataka, offers a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course with an annual intake of 62 seats. Currently the college does not offer any Master of Dental surgery (MDS) course. There is no public announcement and information regarding introduction of MDS seats
