Poor facilities are there in our college.
Placements: Approximately 65 percent of students were placed in our college with the highest package of 8 lacs per annum and the lowest package of 2.5 lacs per annum. More than 15 companies visited, like MNC companies. More than 5 percent of students got internships in other sectors.
Infrastructure: Better infrastructure is available and poor facilities are provided by our college. They provide limited access to Wi-Fi, a library is available, and labs are provided with old equipment. The food quality of the hostel is poor, the mess is hygienic, a medical box is available, and sports and events are conducted.
Faculty: Faculty members are very kind and helpful. They have good qualifications and knowledge in teaching and explaining the concepts. Our course is curriculum-relevant, which makes us industry-ready. Exams are very tough; we have to work hard. Passing percentage is 50 percent of marks.

A college that supports students and encourages them.
Placements: The placement at Ethiraj college is very good, and most of my mates and seniors were placed. I wanted to continue my studies further, so I didn't go for placement. If you want a place to learn good stuff and to be successful in your life. Then I suggest Ethiraj for you.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available in the college. As I am a sports student I know, how much our college spend for sports. The teachers are very supportive and encouraging. Every classroom has at least 6fans, as in Chennai there's only summer and no winter season, and they care for the students very well. There is a students union, and they fight for students rights, whenever required for example- when the price of food in canteen goes way more.
Faculty: The teachers of our college were extremely very good with the students, and they are beneficial. As being a sports student, I don't get time to attend most of the classes, due to different practice sessions and tournament across the country. Our faculty helped me, whenever I ask them for doubt on any subject. All the faculty members were so good and knowledgeable.
Other: Scholarship is given on caste basis.

You should have completed your 10+2 from a recognized education board, with a minimum of 50% marks in order to be eligible for BA in economics. For the entrance test, you must be prepared with all the economics that you studied in the 11th and 12th standard. If you remember that by heart
