Both are good institutions of learning.

But it can be better to study at National law University, Delhi. Faculty of law, AMU can be taken as a second option. AMU is good in teaching but it is like Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) which is not comparable with IITs.

Studying at NLU has many relative advantages than studying at AMU. It will give you wide exposure to the world if ideas and learning and also facilitate you in learning other things. You can also easily participate and observe or attend courts at Delhi high court and the Supreme court of India

During 2022 placements, 181 out of 219 BA LLB students were placed. Earlier, 179 out of 219 students were placed during 2021 placements. For LLM, 10 out of 35 were placed during 2022 placements. In 2021, 7 out of 35 LLM students were placed. Yes, hostel facilities are available at Faculty of Law, AMU. Faculty of Law, AMU offers separate hostels for boys and girl students, with 19 hall of residences, apart from one non-resident center for the day boarders. 13 hostels are for male students and 4 hostels have been allotted to the girl students. Every hall maintains a Common Room with facilities for indoor games, a reading room, library, sports clubs and a literary and cultural society.
