Better option than private, but it's all about what options you have.
Placements: Currently, no batch has passed out. Our 1st batch will pass out in 2027. So, currently, there is no information about placement. As our faculty is well-qualified and they have good connections since some of them have been heads of the placement cell of some reputed colleges like DTU.
Infrastructure: Currently, our classes are going on in Maharishi Kanad Bhawan in the Science department of the North campus of DU. Our main building construction is ongoing and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. No hostel is provided by the college. Many students live in PGs near the campus area, and some live in flats.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and have good connections, as some of them have been heads of the placement cell of some reputed colleges like DTU. They are polite and helpful. They always help with problems related to curriculum activities. There is one mid-semester exam in every semester.

Overall, the college is good for studies, but it doesn't have a good environment.
Placements: Currently, there is no pass-out batch, so I can't provide information about placements. They are actively building strong industry connections and a placement support system to ensure successful future placements. They focus on practical skills, internships, and industry-oriented training. This approach is promising.
Infrastructure: There is no permanent building available; current classes and labs are stabilized in Maharishi Kanad Bhawan. The facilities include a good Wi-Fi connection and fully air-conditioned classrooms and labs. Currently, we are permitted to use the central science library. There are many canteens, some of them are government-authorized and some are private, and they offer good options at reasonable prices.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified according to their role. They are very helpful and depend on you how to take benefit by asking questions. The course curriculum is appreciated. Every semester you get some valuable additional courses that are helpful. I think that is not possible to pass the exam by reading one day before the exam except for some subjects.

Bad college life in the faculty of technology
Placements: Our batch is the first batch of the FOT so no placements have been made previously and we expect a good placement in upcoming years as Delhi University is a big name in the world and all over India. The average package expected by students is a minimum of 12 lakhs which is good for a new college and first batch. Internship will depend on the skills of the student in the college.
Infrastructure: No hostel is allotted to students by Delhi University, which is a very big problem for the students. Now students are living in different pg and flats, and private hostels . The canteen is not as good as such, but it is okay, and none of the sports facilities are provided by the college. Some of the medical facilities can be accessed by the Delhi University-provided hospital.
Faculty: Teachers present are very highly qualified, full of knowledge, and they have a very helpful nature indeed . The course curriculum is very relevant to the syllabus, but it doesn’t make the students industry-ready because no industry visit has been arranged. Semester exams are tough but okay for the average students AND PASS PERCENTAGE IS almost 85%.
Other: I chose this course as I was having flair in B.Tech and specially in computer science. I would say to improve the college life in the college. The college should have different fests and events and have different extracurricular activities.

The course restarted in 2023 only, so not much can be said, but everything looks good and satisfying
Placements: B. Tech under the Faculty of Technology is not a new course at Delhi University. Earlier, it was started and grown into Delhi Technical University. But in 2023, it was started again and I am in the first batch, so can't say anything with surety, but since it is under Delhi University and the course is started for the second time, the placements should be average.
Infrastructure: There is no separate building for FOT B. Teach. Classes are conducted in the main North campus of Delhi University. The building which is assigned has a limited number of rooms, but it is sufficient for two consecutive years of students. The labs are good, but there is no sports facility or games available. Wi-Fi is available No hostels available for B. Teach students Food quality in the University canteen is extremely good Medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified but not very experienced. Most of them are NIT graduates. There are some senior teachers who are working hard to do their best for students. The course is the same as any other video college, but has some differences and provides much of the practical knowledge. Like, in the 3rd semester, we are taught backend development, and in the 4th, we will be taught app development. The level of exams is very good, and practical knowledge is important to score good marks. The passing percentage is 50%.
Other: There are no events and fests conducted on campus for Faculty of Technology students. No extracurricular activities, but under my subjects, periods are allotted, like sports for life or Quit India once a week. No scholarships are given to students, but there is a criterion in which fee concession is given to students based on their family income, which you can go through on the Faculty of Technology website.

There is no campus life, no sports, and no hostel facilities.
Placements: Until now, no batch has passed out yet. Seeing the environment of college, there is less chance of placement. There are only 2 batches now. One will pass out in 2027 and 2nd in 2028. All students can take placements by doing hard work, and not depending on the college. Let's hope for the best.
Infrastructure: The college does not have its own building, and it runs classes in another building. They don't provide any hostel facilities. Wi-Fi is available, but with very low speed. The canteen is available inside, with cheap food, but it is not so good. The college has a medical facility, and there is no sports facility.
Faculty: There are inexperienced faculty members, and they don't teach in detail. They only complete the course, do not provide details, like why we study these things, and in which areas these are beneficial for us. They do not have a good plan to organize exams. They take our exams within 1 week, with no gap.
Other: There is no campus life.
