Good infrastructure but average placements.

Placements: GGSIPU, USICT ( B.Tech CSE ) offers good placement statistics with average of around 6 - 7 LPA. In 2024, the highest CTC was 41.2 LPA. Companies like Adobe, Amazon, and TCS visit the campus during placements. The placements are quite good here.

Infrastructure: USICT, GGSIPU offers good facilities like Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, smart classrooms and a central library. Hostels are decent, and mess food is average, but the canteen is average, Basic medical support is available. Sports facilities and annual fest add values.

Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful and qualified, though teaching qualities varies. The CSE curriculum is mostly relevant with update aligning to industry needs. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty. The pass percentage is around 85-90%.

Other: I chose this course because I always studying about computer science. his college is a good option as the crowd is mixed and it has very much value for money type. I would say studying regular during the semester would help in performing well during exams.

Review of GGSIPU (USICT) .

Placements: The placement scenarios are very good here, as it is the main campus of GGsipu. Most of the MNC visits the college. And the training for placements is very supportive. Even college gives students additional support for their placement preparation.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the main campus (GGsipu) is amazing. It is a huge infrastructure manufactured on 60 acres of land at Dwarka Sec. 16-C. The college has lots of facilities, like a swimming pool, a football and cricket ground, a badminton court, and many more. The greenery in college is excellent. The hostels are very good; there is one room for one student, and the mess food is also good. There are two boys hostels and two girls hostels.

Faculty: Faculty are very supportive and helpful; they teach their subjects very interestingly and in a way that every student can understand clearly. There are two semesters in one year, and in a single semester, there are minor exams, which are mid-semester exams that are completely from the syllabus.

Other: College has a huge number of students, which is good to feel the environment of college, and there are lots of clubs in which you can enroll based on your interests. Every type of club is available, like music, acting, gaming, teaching, etc. There are lots of events held in college that are organized by the college administration for students.

It is a good college with above average placements and good fests.

Placements: More than 90% of students in CSE get placed. Around 2 students got placed off-campus in 2021 at Google with a salary package of 60 LPA which was the highest. Placement cell provided the details to the students to apply for placements. The average salary package offered is above 6 LPA. Amazon recruits students on campus through university-level test and interview rounds. Startups like Travclan recruits developers with a salary package of 10 LPA. ZS Associates offers consultancy roles with a salary package of 8 LPA. Few companies visited our college this year to offer internships.

Infrastructure: Our college is not big. It has a neat and spacious library. Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are average. Girls' hostel is available. There are no huge grounds but have good sports facilities to participate in any particular sports like cricket and basketball. Food served in the mess is average.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are typical university level. They help students if needed. The course curriculum is relevant as many other well-renowned colleges and universities but doesn't make students industry-ready. Exams are moderately tough. Students can score well if they study consistently.

Other: I chose this course because I want to study CSE. The course curriculum is easier than other branches. Fests organised in our college are good but the college area is not big. Students get university-based scholarships based on their financial background. Scholarship application process is tough.

I am dissatisfied because of the poor placements provided by the college.

Placements: About 40% of students from our course get placed till now, and the placement process is still going on. The highest salary package offered in our course is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 2-3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Infotech, Upgrade, and WhiteHat Jr visit our college to hire students from our course. About 30% of students from our course get an internship. The top roles offered in our course are a software engineers and testing analysts.

Infrastructure: Our college provides average facilities and infrastructure in our department like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and a library. The quality of the facilities in the hostel is average. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is satisfactory. Medical facilities, sports, and games are also satisfactory.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and knowledgeable. They are not too qualified and qualified just for what the course needs on an average basis. Their teaching quality is normal. The course curriculum is relevant, and it does not make the students industry-ready immediately. The difficulty level of the semester exams in this college is above average. The passing percentage is 33%, which is a minimum requirement. Overall, the pass percentage of students is 70%.

Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in it. I also want to learn new skills and techniques. The best thing about our course is the learning process never stops. You can always start learning about new trends, technology, and language in the market. Our college should focus more on the industrial areas and what we are going to learn in the placements and about new technologies. Events, fests, extracurricular activities, etc., conducted are good. Campus crowd, connectivity, and campus surroundings are good. Our college provides good scholarships.

Good infrastructure with amazing placement statistics.

Placements: Around 94% of the total students were placed for 2021 batch. The highest package offered was 32 lpa, the lowest package offered was 5 lpa and average package offered was 9 lpa. Top recruiting companies were Amazon, UNIAS INC. , Adobe, rtCamp, ThoroGood, ZS Associates, Cent, Josh Technology, TCS (digital) etc. With over 90+ companies. 120+ internships offered by companies like Adobe, Amazon, GSOC, HashedIn by DEloitte, Coding Ninjas, Expanrr, Ericsson, Erasmith, IMUN, erasmith, algozenith, Urban Company etc. With a stipend upto Rs 60,000 per month. Top roles offered were front end web development followed by full stack web development and others like app development, ML/Data Science, Chat Bot, UX/UI, IOT, Ethical Hacking, Unity and Block Chain.

Infrastructure: College is fully equipped with Wi-Fi. Contains software engineering lab, multimedia lab, VLSI lab, Microprocessing lab, web development lab, Networking lab, internet and intranet access, electronics lab, signal processing lab etc. All rooms are neat and clean. Single rooms, double rooms both options are available for the students. Mess food is alright and canteen's food is awesome (Delhi Food) Medical rooms are provided with trained doctors and nurses.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable but are strict regarding course, syllabus, checking, marking, assignments and have an average teaching quality. Course curriculum is not much relevant and doesn't help much students industry ready and for that student have to prepare themselves rather than depending on college teachers. Semester exams are not much tough. If you have been thorough with the notes and lectures you can easily score good CGPA in all the semesters. Pass percentage is about 39% to 40%.

Other: I have a keen interest in computer science therefore opted for CSE branch. More better and deep explanation with practical implementation will help improving the quality of the course. Seniors are very helpful. They will help you as your elder brother/sister. Completely ragging free. Campus crowd is amazing. Everyone has a passion to achieve something in their lives. Fests like Anugoonj has been blessed to witness beautiful performances by celebrities like sukhwinder singh, Benny Dayal and many more. InfoXpression, the annual technical festival of USICT is one of the largest technical fests of north India with over 10,000 people around the globe.
