Placements: There are a total of 70 students in a classroom. Out of which about 50 sit in the interviews for placements. Many companies are called in by the departments for offering jobs to the students. There are no internships offered by department but you can get one on your own or the one's provided by the university.
Infrastructure: A separate block is there for Science courses, the top floor of the block is for computer Science department. All the rooms are air-conditioned and have projector facility including in the labs. There are a total of 8 labs varying in size amnd are different from classroom sizes. Wi-Fi is provided in the campus. Library is in a form of 3-story, fully air-conditioned building with an auditorium on the 4th floor.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful, they prepare for the lectures beforehand and conduct regular lab classes. There are extra staff members to help students out. This course also includes some extra subjects of our own choice, which includes subjects from other streams and teaches real life applicable things. The exams are conducted twice a year and are easy to pass, if you prepare well.
Other: Events are conducted all round the year by different societies in college, that are run by students themselves. A 3-day annual cultural fest is also organised by the student union each year which is called Confluence. Famous artists are invited to perform for the same.

My experience at Hansraj.
Placements: Hansraj College has a particular placement cell society that brings students and well-known companies together in the hiring process. It's a successful society and every year it brings big, giant companies like DeShaw, EY India, Fractal, Deloitte Consulting, and many more. Every year, their average placement increases. Last year, the average placement package was 8.2 LPA, and the highest went to 23 LPA, which was taken by a computer science student. The placement scenario is actually good at Hansraj College. Only 10% of students got placed in my course last year. Internships are taken by students depending on their field of interest. The top role offered is data analytics in my course.
Infrastructure: Hansraj College is not that big and spacious, but it accommodates each and every facility that a grade college should have. It has three wings, namely A, B and CA, with large grounds for sports and for students of the NCC (National Cadet Corps). It has a big administrative block where the official work is carried out. Toilets are in each block and on each floor, which is always clean and tidy. It has specific rooms for government organizations such as the NCC and the National Service Scheme (NSS). There are two small food areas and one big canteen, which provides delicious food at affordable prices. Hansraj College has both girl and boy hostels. A girls' hostel was recently built last year. The girls' hostel is a little bit expensive as compared to the boys' hostel, and in addition to that, it has limited seats. One room is shared by five girls, making it difficult for them to stay and adjust. Though the boys' hostel is comparatively good and spacious, The hostel has all the amenities, such as a hygienic mess, a medical room for emergencies, and a lawn for playing sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers at Hansraj College are highly educated and experienced. All the professors and a few assistant professors hold a Ph.D. degree in their respective teaching areas. To make the teaching process more interactive, they not only use the prescribed books given in the curriculum, but they also make their own teaching slides so that students can understand them much better. They use real-life examples to make the students understand everything. The semester exam took place at the end of every semester, twice in an academic year. The pass percentage is 98%. Most of the students get passed as they already have a good academic background.
Other: My course is private that's why its cost is around INR 51,000 per year. It's one of the toughest courses among all the other courses that Hansraj College offers. I chose this course because I wanted to go into the IT industry. This course makes a student skilled and more intelligent, as it's difficult. Campus life at Hansraj College is amazing. Hansraj conducts its annual fest named Confluence, and NCC Hansraj conducts its annual fest named Valour. Both the festivals are organized on a large scale, with people coming from different DU colleges. The crowd of Hansraj is well educated as well as more talented. Apart from that, Hansraj annually conducts its sports competition, which is an inter-departmental competition named Khelo Hansraj. The overall life of a student at Hansraj College is marvellous. It is helpful in the holistic development of the students and enhances their personalities.
