Very good reputation of Hansraj in DU.
Placements: Mostly students from B.Sc. (H) in Computer Science pursue higher studies like M.Sc., MBA, MCA, etc. Only a few students about 10-15 percent of students get to sit for placements and get direct placements from college. Students get offers from companies like EY, Accenture, Deloitte, IBM, etc. As a first-year student I don't have much idea about the package but from what I have heard from seniors, the average package is about 6 LPA-7 LPA.
Infrastructure: Science courses have a separate block where our classes take place. We have about 8 computer labs, fully air-conditioned, and have high-speed Wi-Fi. We have a variety of food available at the canteen at reasonable prices. Every classroom has air conditioning, projectors, and comfortable seats.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They are professional with their work and explain everything with patience. They always make sure that everyone is paying attention and answers the question asked in between classes. The curriculum is relevant and we have exams at the end of the semester. Exams are not very hard it's easy to pass and get good marks.
Other: All kinds of transport facilities are available around Hansraj. We can also play sports in our free time. I wish we had an auditorium at our college so we could also host events on a bigger scale.

Amazing college with great faculty members, good infrastructure, and better campus life.
Placements: In 2024 placement season, the highest salary package offered to computer science graduates was 33 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8.4 LPA. Over 230 job offers are extended to the students across various courses, with top recruiters including KPMG, HCL, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has a great infrastructure with three blocks namely A, B, and C. Block A is for commerce students, block B is for science, and block C is for arts students. Labs are amazing with full Wi-Fi facilities. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and are bigger to accommodate 80-100 students. The food quality is also better than other colleges.
Faculty: Faculty members are extremely educated and very knowledgeable in their field of study. They are very communicative. The curriculum and daily routine are hectic while Saturday and Sunday are off days for us. Exams are moderate but have very less time to study.

It offers good placements for many students, but you need to stand out from the crowd by building a strong profile and adding relevant skills to your CV. The college focuses on quality so they aim to place a select group of highly qualified students. Companies like De Shaw and Deloitte offer packages up to 20 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good overall. Some people compare Hansraj to Amity University in terms of its cleanliness. The maintenance staff takes good care of the grounds and ensures everything is clean. The campus is also a plastic-free zone and they actively avoid using plastics whenever possible.
Faculty: The faculty at the college is well educated and dedicated to teaching. Unlike other colleges that start classes much later in the semester Hansraj starts classes right away, and the focus on studies begins promptly. The faculty members are approachable and provide good guidance to students.

Satisfactory faculty and good infrastructure at HRC.
Placements: Out of the 81 students in the passing out batch, 15% of them, i.e., 12 students, got placed in recruiting companies such as IBM, Paytm, Bluestone, Brain and Company, and more.
Various students (60–70%) got internships in startups and small companies; some got internships in companies such as Microsoft. These companies provided students with hands-on experience with the technology used in real-time in today's industry.
Infrastructure: There are 5 labs in total for the Computer Science faculty, which are maintained properly, updated software for the systems, Wi-Fi availability, and staff to help out with technical issues. The classrooms have worn-out wooden benches that are decent for sitting. Air conditioning is in each room, along with projectors. The library offers every book needed for the course and is easy to find in a separate section for the computer science department. The Hansraj College Hostel is a good deal for students coming from other states. The quality of the food is decent but Wi-Fi can not be accessed on the premises. An outer can be set up with sharing means. Various sports are encouraged at the college. Some of them are basketball, cricket, football, badminton, table tennis, archery and shooting. Overall, the college hostel is worth living in, but the rules of the hostel might be too flexible for some. The infrastructure of the science block and hostel is good and improving.
Faculty: Teachers have a fair amount of experience with teaching and are very welcoming. They are very qualified, hence the experience. Doubts are definitely solved with a bit of understanding. The course is not that tough and it is curriculum-relevant. With the needs of the industry raised, it definitely does not make the students industry-ready but provides them with a solid foundation. The semester exams have a moderate-to-tough level. To pass, students need to have an average GPA of 5 in any given year.
Other: B.Sc. (H) Computer Science is a well-demanded and valuable course in the industry, with Hansraj College being one of the best colleges in Delhi. The best thing about the course is that it provides students with time to maximise their skills for being job-ready. The faculty is really nice and helpful if you get along with them. For the last 4 years, there have been no festivals at the college until now. The festival this year was certainly not the best but it goes uphill from here. The ambience surrounding the campus is really serene and calm. Scholarships can also be availed of after an interview with the college staff, although the courses are really affordable compared to other colleges outside of UOD.

Placements: There are a total of 70 students in a classroom. Out of which about 50 sit in the interviews for placements. Many companies are called in by the departments for offering jobs to the students. There are no internships offered by department but you can get one on your own or the one's provided by the university.
Infrastructure: A separate block is there for Science courses, the top floor of the block is for computer Science department. All the rooms are air-conditioned and have projector facility including in the labs. There are a total of 8 labs varying in size amnd are different from classroom sizes. Wi-Fi is provided in the campus. Library is in a form of 3-story, fully air-conditioned building with an auditorium on the 4th floor.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful, they prepare for the lectures beforehand and conduct regular lab classes. There are extra staff members to help students out. This course also includes some extra subjects of our own choice, which includes subjects from other streams and teaches real life applicable things. The exams are conducted twice a year and are easy to pass, if you prepare well.
Other: Events are conducted all round the year by different societies in college, that are run by students themselves. A 3-day annual cultural fest is also organised by the student union each year which is called Confluence. Famous artists are invited to perform for the same.
