About faculty of technology, facilities provided, and opportunities available.
Placements: Engineering at DU was started in 2023, and hence the first batch will pass in 2027. But as I discussed with our faculty members, they confirmed MOU signing with Google and are in talks with other major giants like Siemens. One of our faculty members mentioned the culture of our placement cell, even we as teachers are said by authorities to bring companies.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms are well-equipped with basic facilities like well maintained cooling system, smart boards, and other such basic facilities. Talking about hostels, that is the only shortcoming of our college. There is no specific hostel designed for the students of faculty of technology. But we do have certain number of seats (3-4) in each of the DU hostels.
Faculty: As I said, faculty members are well-equipped with multi-domain knowledge. Most of them have done their prior studies at IITs. Curriculum is designed as per the new education policy. You will get hands-on experience of working on hardware in the labs which we as FOT are equipped with. There is a wide range of choices we get for subjects based on our interests, and we are free to choose. I mean, there is this minor degree scheme in our college. Talking about faculty members, almost all have done doctorate in their specific domain. Some of them have work experience of more than 25 years, and even the visiting faculty members are from renowned institutions such as DTU.

Absolutely dissatisfied, please don't go to this college. I left this college after doing 1st year.
Placements: Since it's a new college, no placements yet. There are no placement cells and no internship opportunities. If you will try off-campus, they will cut your attendance. Very poor thinking of management. All the money is going to the management team. No hope from this college.
Infrastructure: There is only one building which you can call your college. They say the new building is under construction but it will take a lot of time. The labs and equipment are good, and Wi-Fi is available. The library is there but you will not find any useful books there. The college doesn't have anything of its own, they are begging from the university.
Faculty: The number of teachers is very low and out of those only a few are well qualified. Many of the teachers just skip the syllabus as fast as possible. There are no extracurricular activities for self-development. The college feels like a strict school. They do not let anybody grow.
Other: No events, no fests, the crowd is very poor, no connectivity, and no sports except cricket. The teachers hijack the credit of students.

I am satisfied because, from my perspective, it is valuable for the money.
Placements: This time, there is no college placement because we are a new batch in our college, so the placement scene is not defined for us. There is no placement and internship cell for our use, and for better opportunities. So, there is no hope about what will happen in the future. But from the college side, there is hope for better placements and a bright future for our students.
Infrastructure: Every need is beautifully fulfilled, but the college building is temporary. The new building is taking time to be fully completed, so we are currently using this temporary building. However, all the facilities and labs are costly and well-equipped. We hope the new building will be ready very soon.
Faculty: There are 2 semesters in 1 year, as you know well. Teachers are well qualified and have excellent knowledge. To get a good GPA, you have to study well because there is too much competition here. The students are good, they are doing something that will make the university curriculum bright and helpful for the next batch.
Other: I chose this course because I like electricity and want to learn more about it.

It has strong academics, campus life, good placements, and excellent infrastructure.
Placements: 87% of students got placed in this course last year. The highest package was 24 LPA, and the lowest package was 3.6 LPA. The average package was 8.5 LPA. Companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, ZS Associate, HDFC Bank, ICICI Prudential, and PwC hire students from the college.
Infrastructure: Our department offers modern infrastructure and student-friendly facilities to support both academic and co-curricular development. Classrooms are spacious, well-lit, and equipped with projectors and audio-visual systems for interactive learning. It has Wi-Fi with high-speed campus-wide. Wi-Fi access is available to all students and faculty members. There are state-of-the-art computer labs with updated systems and licensed software for practical training and research. Our college provides a well-stocked departmental and central library with a wide range of academic books, journals, e-resources, and study materials.
Faculty: Semester exams at the University of Delhi are moderately challenging. The level of difficulty largely depends on the course and department. While core subjects may require in-depth understanding and analytical skills, most students find exams manageable with consistent study and good attendance. There is a mix of theory-based questions, case studies, and practical (where applicable). Internal assessment also contributes to final grades. The pass percentage typically ranges between 85-95%, depending on the course and year. Many students clear their exams on the first attempt with regular preparation.

The promising course with great faculty and vibrant campus life looking forward to strong placements
Placements: I am pursuing a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in sustainable energy at the Faculty of Technology. As this course is newly introduced, no batches have graduated yet, so there is no official placement data available. Based on the university's reputation and student interest, the expected average package could range from 10-20 LPA.
Infrastructure: All faculty members are very supportive and always help students develop their skills. Regarding hostels, there is currently no accommodation available. Wi-Fi is always accessible on campus. Classrooms are equipped with proper air conditioning, and the canteen is excellent. Medical facilities are also available, and there is one science library.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and provide us with notes, PPTs, and questions. The teaching quality is excellent, and the course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are on par with those of NITs and IIITs, with 80-90 percent of students passing the semester exams. Overall, the curriculum and syllabus are impressive.
Other: One of the best aspects of this course is the balance between theory and practical application. We have hands-on lab sessions, and industry-relevant projects, and we are encouraged to participate in innovation competitions. The student body is diverse and energetic, with students coming from various states and backgrounds. Our college fests are well-organized and vibrant, featuring events like Teach Fest and seminars.
