A good college with good faculty.

Placements: Around 80% of students got placed in our course which is electrical and computer engineering. The highest salary package offered is around 17 LPA - 19 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 7 LPA - 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 5 LPA - 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: Facilities provided in our college are very nice. Wi-Fi is good. Labs are nice. Classrooms are good. The library is also good. The canteen in our college is also good. The food quality in our hostel is nice. Apart from these facilities, sports, games, and medical facilities are also present.

Faculty: The teaching quality in our college is excellent and helps us with the topics which we find difficult to understand. This course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult in this college.

A college which will give a life, well experienced faculty members, very good campus.

Placements: In the electrical department, which is the best department in the faculty of engineering and technology in Jamia, the placements are average to good. For the last 3 years, the placed students go up to 40-50%, keeping in mind that a huge number of students choose the Masters and Research line. The average package lies between 7-8 LPA, with the highest of 12 LPA.

Infrastructure: The overall facilities in the college are very good. They have Wi-Fi for the students available throughout the campus and multiple libraries too. The labs are also well-maintained, and classrooms have all the needed setup with AC and projectors. Jamia has a well-known, very famous sports complex of its own, which consists of everything you can think of. Also, every medical facility is available once you get yourself an ID card and a medical card.

Faculty: The teachers are very well qualified and experienced with over 15-20 years or even more, and almost everyone is a Ph.D. degree holder and has their own expertise in their special fields. They are also very helpful towards the students. The course structure for the self-finance courses is very well designed and adjusted according to the current market demand. Also, the semester exams are not tough. They are moderate and very easy to pass if you give time for study.

Overall college is good but the infra is very poor. Seniors are also quite helpful.

Placements: Placements are quite good, the average package for CSE is 11 LPA and for other branches is 8-9LPA, around 70% students gets placed, if we exclude the students who opt for higher studies then around 95% students are placed. The highest placement in 2023-2024 was around 59 LPA in Atlassian.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not upto the mark considering it's #3 nirf ranked university, the classrooms specially for 1st year students are the worst, the fans do not work properly and the chair are also very comfortable, it's hard to sit on it for 1 period. Wi-Fi is available throughout the college and speed is also decent, Labs are good and air conditioned, Libraries are the best thing about this university, Zakir Hussain Library is the biggest library fully air conditioned and charging output available at all tables which are at the walls. Hostel is vert hard to get here, so you have to manage living outside the campus. But if you know someone like professor or employee he might secure you a hostel seat, as per my friends who are in hostels, every hostel has 3 seater rooms, food is also okayish and there is non veg 5 days a week (veg also available).

Faculty: Teachers are very qualified from IITs and foreign universities, they help you in every possible way, the teaching is also good if you want to study, otherwise is most of the lectures you can sit at the back and do other things the teacher won't force you to study.

Other: Avoid taking the self finance courses if you are getting lower NITs, the college life is not that great because fests are not good, also music is not supported much in this college.

My College Experience as a fresher!!

Placements: Almost around 85% of students are placed. The average package for CSE is around 10-11 LPA, whereas for other branches it's 7-8 LPA. There are not placements like 1 Cr or 80 LPA+, but the average package is pretty decent. There are various internship opportunities as well that the college provides.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the one thing I don't like about the college. The infrastructure is very old, and even the fans do not work properly. You'll probably get a heat stroke during summers. The Engineering canteen's food is too good! You'll get what you want, and it is very affordable too.

Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified. Some professors might be strict, but overall the faculty is good. The newly launched self-finance courses are made keeping in mind the relevance of what is required in today's time. The semester exams are pretty easy but could be passed with good marks even if you study 1 week before exams.

A decent government college with a bit high fee.

Placements: The placement is overall decent. The highest placement is of the computer engineering branch around 12 LPA-13 LPA average but for other branches too it is around 8 LPA-9 LPA. The university has a good campus placement record with many companies such as Infosys, Wipro, etc., participating.

Infrastructure: The university has a very old and poor infrastructure, and the building is very old too with only one working lift that is reserved for staff and disable people. Although a new building is being constructed for self-finance students it is going to take a lot of time.

Faculty: The faculty apart from a few ones is pretty good. Most teachers are experienced and quite good. Although, some might be a little bit okay. Our curriculum is pretty decent too since our course was introduced last year in 2024. It is quite up-to-date. The exams are held thrice per semester. Two sessional and one end-semester exam. The exams are quite difficult. Around half of the students got back in one or more subjects, especially in Maths.
