My first-semester experience.

Placements: Placements are not great. In core branches, the situation is worse. Only a few number of students can get placements. Most of them are in tech placements from campus by mass recruiters. You have to work on yourself to get one and prepare for off-campus if needed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good. We get well-equipped labs and Wi-Fi on campus. There is nice infrastructure. We have good sports facilities like table tennis and basketball. There is a badminton court and a fine gym. Hostels are fine. There are 24/7 water and electricity facilities. The mess food is fine. It is not very good. Its price is very reasonable and affordable.

Faculty: Teachers are fine. The curriculum is very basic just like every other university. You can find easily online videos. Online semester exams are not very tough. A lot of students are not able to pass. They try to fill a maximum number of pages. Basically, you have to memorize a lot before exams.

Other: If you are looking for some government colleges and got a very high rank in the joint entrance examination, you can consider this university over any other private college. Otherwise, go for something else.

Not so much satisfied with the behavior of the faculty and the bad condition of the hostel rooms.

Placements: At Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, actually, most of the placements we got are in the IT sector or marketing, so there is no core placement for Electrical students. After that, the highest package ever got is 10 LPA, and the average is 5 to 6 LPA. Normally, 15 to 20 percent of students get placed.

Infrastructure: The labs are just okay, not so much nice. Classrooms are just old rooms. Wi-Fi is not working at all. The library is nice with a lot of books. The infrastructure of the library is good, but the university doesn’t have enough space for the labs and proper classrooms. The hostel is also not good; there are not sufficient rooms for the students, and the food is also very bad.

Faculty: The exams are so moderate, not so worthy. The faculty is, some of them, very nice, and some are just doing nothing, not even taking the classes. They are just here for their salary. The behavior of some teachers is also not good towards their students; they just abuse them.

Other: There are some nice students from the passed-out batch who started their own business.

Infrastructure is really awesome as compared to other universities.

Placements: Placements at the university are good. This year, 100% placement takes place in B.Tech. and the package is between 8 and 18 lacs. The highest placement in B.Tech. computer science is 21 Lacs. 65% of students in each department of B.Tech. get jobs.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is really good. This university is the best, as I visit many universities in Haryana as well as in Uttar Pradesh. The best network connection and Wi-Fi are available in the hostel as well as in the teaching blocks. There is also a shopping complex for students so there is no need to go outside the campus.

Faculty: Exams are quite tough and there are three minor exams in one semester. The good thing is that many students pass the exam because many teachers support the students during their studies and you can ask for help from the teachers at any time. 24*7 library and reading halls are there.

Other: In this university so many functions for newcomers are arranged, including sports activities. Many functions were arranged for hostelers because they leave their homes for studies so they do not feel sad.

Review of GJUST-Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology.

Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed in our college. The average salary package offered is 11 LPA. Many students get placements even in the third year but mostly get placed by the end of the 4th year. MNCs visit our college to recruit students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college has the biggest library. It has books related to all courses. It has reference books. Classrooms are good. They are equipped with projectors, edu pens, and air-conditioners. We have 5 basketball courts, 1 indoor badminton court, several outdoor badminton courts, and a well-maintained football field encircled by an athletic track. Our college has a common room.

Faculty: Our faculty members are helpful. The faculty-student ratio is 1:35. They are great. Some of them have done their research works for 13-15 years. They are alumni of prestigious institutes like IITs, IIITs, NITs, etc.

Other: I opted for this course to become a software engineer. I have worked on some projects while I was in school. Many events and fests are held in our college. We have many societies. Some are tech, and some are cultural societies.
