College life here is happening. The college has a green campus.
Placements: Students are very bright, intellectual, and hardworking. Students got internships from this college with an above-average package. The college provides various opportunities to showcase our skills, and the students themselves are very excited to participate in the various workshops.
Infrastructure: Currently, the college does not provide hostels for students. However, there are PGs available nearby the college campus with affordable prices, as well as flats. Wi-Fi is available on the college campus, the labs are well-equipped, and all the classrooms have AC and digital boards.
Faculty: Faculty of the college are experienced and well-qualified. The curriculum is easy for the students. The faculty are very friendly and help us to solve queries regarding the course and also about personal stuff. The easy exams are quite tough, but if you attend the classes regularly, you can get good grades.
Other: College can improve in sports. The college has good faculty members, and the college staff are very friendly.

B.Tech in DU north campus.
Placements: Our faculty is well-qualified, and some of them have also served as dean of DTU and other colleges, so we expect that good companies will definitely come. Now it depends on you how much you work hard to get placements. NIT and IIT placements are also not well these days.
Infrastructure: Hostel is not available and you can apply for DU hostel but it is very less chance that you get it. Main building construction is going on, it is expected that it will be completed in mid-2026. Currently, the Maharishi Kanad Bhawan main building is where classes are running.

I am very hopeful about the placement of the college.
Placements: Since we are the first batch of this department, no placements have been held yet, so we cannot say anything about the highest or lowest package. However, considering the reputation of Delhi University, we hope to secure a decent one. Faculty members help to get internships in IITs and also let you know about the latest programs and internships in the market. My course is related to semiconductors, and there is also a concept of minors, allowing me to pursue other fields through other courses.
Infrastructure: There are lots of labs and classrooms and a new campus for FOT is under construction. There is Wi-Fi available everywhere and also we have a central science library but this library is for the whole science department. Canteen, DU hospital for students, and multi-purpose hall for all the games are available here.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. Most of the teachers are assistant and associate professors but they are experienced in teaching and also consider the doubts of the students. Our courses are very much relevant to today's demand in industry. Exams are quite difficult but if anyone makes a little effort they can easily pass the exams. 1st year is easy as compared to the preceding one.
Other: Since I do not have a very good rank and Delhi University is a prestigious university I thought to get enrolled in this university. I wish there were more societies in our college and more fests. Since there are many of thing are under process like more fests. Connectivity is good but we are not able to get a hostel in Delhi University. There is a fee waiver on the income of the family and also a laptop reimbursement from the college. If you perform well you can get Rs. 60,000 scholarship from the college.

I'm not fully satisfied with college, but I'm hopeful it give us good opportunities in the future.
Placements: The B.Tech course starts in 2023. Placements are yet to happen. As the college has direct access to the main placement cell of the North Campus of the University of Delhi, placements are good. Internships are most probably provided in the third year by FAANG companies.
Infrastructure: There is no separate building for FOT B.Tech. Classes are conducted in the main North Campus of Delhi University. The assigned building has a limited number of rooms, but it is sufficient for two consecutive batches of students. Labs are good, but there are no sports facilities or games available. Wi-Fi facility is available. There are no hostels for B.Tech students. The food quality in the university canteen is extremely good, and medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified but not very experienced. Most of them are NIT graduates. There are some senior teachers who work hard to do their best for students. The course is similar to that of any other college, but it has some differences and provides a lot of practical knowledge. For example, in the 3rd semester, we are taught backend development, and in the 4th semester, we will be taught app development. The level of exams is very good, and practical knowledge is important to score good marks. The passing percentage is 50%.
Other: There are no events or fests conducted on campus for Faculty of Technology students. There are no extracurricular activities, but under certain subjects, periods are allotted once a week for activities like Sports for Life or Quit India. There are no scholarships given to students, but there is a criterion for fee concession based on family income, which you can find on the Faculty of Technology website.

If you want a college life with fests and clubs, don't come here. If you want to study, then do come
Placements: Currently, I can't say anything about the placements as our first batch of the college will pass out in 2027. The reason I still gave it a three-star rating is because it comes under a central university, specifically DU North Campus. The placements can be super good, mediocre, or very poor. Time will decide.
Infrastructure: Currently, our classes are being conducted at Maharishi Kannad Bhavan, inside the main University. It's a big 5-storey building (out of which only 2 floors are used for FOT though). So, not a very good infrastructure, but decent enough. The classes are fully air-conditioned, we have lifts, pretty big lecture halls, and well-equipped labs. The permanent building for FOT is under construction.
Faculty: The faculty is well-qualified and very helpful, but the backing management is very poor (typical of a government college). The curriculum also matches with the modern-day requirements, no issues in that. The exams are really tough here, you definitely need to study to survive here. In our first-year mid-sem exams, the class average score for a particular subject was 7 out of 24. So just imagine the toughness.
Other: I chose this course because I always wanted to explore the field of hardware, and I chose this college because of the DU tag. But, to be frank, DU really disappoints me here. There are no events going on in the college, literally nothing! The crowd is so boring and uninteresting. Many times, faculty members kept getting changed at the start of the batch. There are even no clubs or societies in the college, leading to a lack of junior-senior interaction.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: First of all, I would like to tell that our batch is the first batch which will pass out in 2027, so the exact answers can be found only then. But yes, Faculty of Technology established their placement cell and additionally, Delhi University has its own Central Placement Cell in which we are also eligible.
Infrastructure: Our classes are held in Kanad Bhawan University of Delhi. Facilities: Fully AC classes with high-speed Wi-Fi, digital boards, and a water cooler on every floor. Stairs and lifts are both available. We have all types of labs like Advance Electronics Lab, Network and Synthesis Lab, and Digital Electronics Lab with all the necessary equipment. Unfortunately, a hostel isn't available; you have to take PG which costs around 10-15k.
Faculty: I can say most of our professors are well qualified. You have to score 40% to pass in exams; questions in semester exams are a bit harder, so focus on what your professor is teaching in class. If possible, try to make notes; it will be very helpful for semester exams.

I say this is just the beginning of college, so one should choose it as their last priority.
Placements: In my course, 60 students get placed. The highest package is 1.0 crore, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 15 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Jane Street and Dolly Chaiwala. All students get PPOs. The top roles are Chaiwala, offered via Phones, Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, and Amazon.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility in this college. Wi-Fi is available in whole campus. ACs are in the whole department. There are no medical facilities. Canteens are available. There are no sports or games, no sports grounds, no clubs or societies, and no fests.
Faculty: In terms of exams, they are very strict, but they have no teachers to teach the course. The first two months of the semester are wasted. In the next month, a teacher (guest faculty) is assigned to teach. No one should take this college as they would regret it.
Other: This is the last college one should choose.

College life can be challenging.
Placements: I am unsure about the placement opportunities since I am part of the first batch that started in 2023. However, this college is affiliated with Delhi University, which has a strong reputation, and that's one of the reasons I chose it. Additional, Delhi University has solid connections that can benefit students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good; the labs, classrooms, and library create a decent environment, and the Wi-Fi speed is satisfactory. However, there is a shortage of staff, and those available often delay their work, which negative impact the students. Additional, there is a lack of sports facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and very supportive, which greatly benefits the students. The semester exam was more difficult than I had anticipated. Additional, there are many more courses available that assist students in their extracurricular activities, such as those in finance and English.
Other: I believe there have been significant changes in the electronic and communication course, representing a huge opportunity for students. I want to update the old syllabus to be more practical.
