Experience of FGIET college in MCA course.
Placements: In my course, Master of Computer Applications, 40% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, the average salary package was 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course were Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc. Many roles were offered, such as web developer intern, full-stack web developer, process associate, software engineer trainee, etc.
Infrastructure: In the MCA department, more facilities are provided, such as a library, laboratory, hostel, playground, classrooms, conference hall, reading hall, Wi-Fi, and computer labs. In the hostel, the college provides good quality food, medical facilities, sports grounds, and cleaning services.
Faculty: Some faculty members are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable with good teaching skills. The course is good, but some improvements are needed, such as incorporating new technologies, advanced coding, and spoken English skills. The exams are neither too difficult nor too easy, they are average. Approximately 90% of students pass on their first attempt.

It is not a good college for MCA students.
Placements: Placements were not provided in our course but were provided for B.Tech students. Companies didn't visit our college to recruit students of our course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and a library were available. Wi-Fi was not available. Labs were available with poor-quality computers. Hostel was average and provided facilities like filtered water, food, and an average mess. The canteen was not good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was average. The course curriculum was relevant but it didn't make students industry ready. Semester exams were not difficult. Few students failed semester exams. The pass percentage was 99%.
Other: Extracurricular activities like sports were organised in our college. Scholarships were provided for students.

I recommend you to join this college.
Placements: Placements were not provided in our course, but they were provided for B.Tech. students. Companies didn't visit our college to recruit students in our course. Many students were placed in our course. Students who worked hard got placed from our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good. Our college had an administrative block. Our college had a girls' hostel. The hostel fee was Rs. 45,000 per annum. The food served at the hostel is improving. There were not many varieties of food items. They provided Wi-Fi. Medical facilities were good.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and qualified with the appropriate degrees. They were knowledgeable. Their teaching qualities were good. They teach you as per the syllabus given by the university. Semester exams were quite moderate in difficulty. You have to get more than 30 marks in each subject.
Other: MCA is a popular course for students who aim to become professionals in the software industry. This course provides you with in-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of computers.

The candidate must have passed a Bachelor's degree in any of the following fields: B.C.A., B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.Sc. (IT), B.E. (CSE), B.Tech. (CSE), B.E. (IT), B.Tech. (IT), or an equivalent degree. Alternatively, candidates who have completed any graduation degree (e.g., B.E., B.Tech., B.Sc., B.Com., B.A., B.Voc., etc.) with Mathematics at either the 10+2 level or at the graduation level are also eligible. Additionally, the candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination. However, candidates belonging to the SC/ST category must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
