B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028
2.4
Good infrastructure, but dissatisfied due to no programs. Placement was average.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in the Mechanical Engineering department is only above 20%. The highest and lowest average packages offered in the Mechanical Engineering branch are between 2-3 LPA. Companies like IBM, TCS, Infosys, and Wipro visit for recruitment. More than 50% of students in the Mechanical branch secure internships.
Infrastructure: The hostel and library have Wi-Fi facilities. Labs are equipped with advanced machines. An ambulance is available for emergencies. The mess food is average. The college excels in sports but is average in games. The canteen food is also average. The hostel facilities are good, with one room accommodating three members. The college library is well-stocked with books from all departments.
Faculty: Teachers are of good quality, helpful, and well-knowledgeable. The course curriculum is not very relevant now. The pass percentage is above 75%. Some teachers are good and helpful. The syllabus is not relevant anymore and does not make students industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult.
Other: Mechanical engineering is a core branch. The syllabus needs improvement. Events and fests are very few, and the campus is crowded.

Good campus but the girls hostel is messed up .
Placements: Placement percentage is high for students in computer science and electronics department when compared to the other departments. Branches like mechanical, civil and instrumentation have less placements than the other branches. Students undergo placement training in their 5th semester and regular campus interviews are conducted.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious with projector facilities to present PowerPoints. Wi-Fi can be accessed by students in the college as well as hostels. Canteen provides both veg and non-veg options with a good menu. Hostel food is not that tasty. Personally, I would prefer a different menu.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good. Remedial classes are taken for students who missed portions and for students who find it difficult to follow the topics. Teachers are very helpful during the exam time. They provide us with practice questions and help with the studying.

A good private college with great facilities for students to learn and grow.
Placements: If you're from an IT background the options for you getting into a multinational company is more. For others such as mechanical and instrumentation courses, core companies hardly recruits. You have to make your own preparations for your job or for the higher studies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and sports facilities are more than adequate. Hostels are daily cleaned and provides satisfactory mess facilities which accept student suggestions for various menus to be set up. A full natural grass ground capable of holding football as well as cricket tournaments. The college also has labs for every departments and gyms, auditoriums, library, seminar halls, students as well as teachers'parking facilities.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are well trained and well-equipped to teach the students and make them understand the topics of every subjects. Practical sessions are also lead by efficient faculty who have a thorough knowledge of the equipments present there and about its practical significance.

It has good infrastructure and provided good placements in the year 2019.
Placements: Previous year more than 550 students got placement. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. This year top recruiting companies did not visit our campus for our course placements till date. The majority of the students got an internship in different companies like AIESL, FACT, etc.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi facility which has to be separately configured on your laptop. Classrooms are spacious enough and equipped with a projector. The library is a 3 storey building with book banks, general section, a computer lab for surfing the net, etc. I am a day scholar, so I do not know about the hostel facilities. The canteen is bad, understaffed and with a very low area to hold the students in the college. The food served is sub-par too. There is a sick room. We are allowed to play in the ground after college hours till 6:30 pm. Students play sports here like basketball, football, badminton and volleyball.
Faculty: I can only say about my mechanical engineering department. There are different types of teachers who approach the subject in different ways. They are subjective to each person. All teachers are qualified and highly knowledgeable. If you like any area and would like to work on it, then there is a high chance you may find a person suitable for the job here. Their teaching quality is average. The course curriculum helps us to understand the basic concepts of engineering while leaving us totally unprepared for the industry.

It is a really good college, and I am absolutely satisfied.
Placements: Almost 70% of the students studying here get placed. The salary package offered ranges between 5 LPA to 15 LPA. TCS, IBS, Wipro, MRF, Appolo, are the top recruiters. Many companies offer good job opportunities with the best salary packages.
Infrastructure: There are Wi-Fi enabled classrooms. There is the best lab facility. Hostels are the best in class. Labs are provided with good facilities to conduct experiments without causing any failure. All labs are provided with experienced lab operators and the best technical support. Mess and canteen are provided with good food.
Faculty: There are the best teaching staff. All are well experienced in their professional level. Teachers are helpful for the project and seminar presentation. They guide and provide the best technical support. Even the method of teaching is good, and also all the topics are covered with relevant industrial examples.
Other: I have chosen this course as there is a good job opportunity. Events are class in segments. Scholarships are offered by the college for those who excel in academics.

I had an average experience in the college.
Placements: Placements are high for computer science and electronics departments. Mechanical students have very few opportunities. The college has a placement cell which is quite irresponsible in handling the things. It never invited good companies to the campus.
Infrastructure: The college has ample facilities such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, medical facilities etc. They were very good in quality. A digital library is available, and it provides many reference books. The canteen is pretty good.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful in our studies and encouraged us to take part in various activities. Various presentations were given to provide in-depth knowledge of the subjects, which proved to be helpful. We went to Pallivaasal Hydroelectric Plant and Ambuja Cements to get industry exposure.

Focus on Excellence. A few drawbacks do exist but we truly believe they can be resolved.
Placements: The placements are average. They are oriented more towards the IT departments. Companies like TCS have been regular recruiters. Sponsored as a part of Federal Bank. The average salary is about 20000 rupees per month. The students were recruited for quality check and problem-solving departments, and even manufacturing plants and production departments.
Infrastructure: Highly-equipped lab services. Wi-Fi authenticated services available. Highly maintained fitness centres and sports areas like football and basketball sets. Smart lab classrooms. Average canteen services and hostel rooms. More and more services added to the campus as per the requirements of the students. The campus has its own drawbacks but we truly believe they will be resolved very soon. One such issue is the food services in the canteen and mess. Gym services for girls in the hostels have not yet been provided but will be provided soon.
Faculty: Professional and experienced faculty service available. Group advisory system to help students maintain a personal relationship with faculty members and counsellors. The curriculum was useful taking into consideration the drawbacks of KTU (Kerala Technical University), which is a new syllabus and is still premature with its principles. It is improving with time as well.

Great infrasturture and facilities.
Placements: FISAT has a very active placement cell working on the campus. Due to their sincere efforts, a lot of students were placed over the past years. Last year a lot were placed in reputed companies in Kerala. Salaries varying from about 40,000 to 80,000 were offered by the companies. Various reputed companies visited the college.
Infrastructure: FISAT offers a very high standard infrastructure to students. All the labs are well-equipped with machinery. The college has a vast library facility equipped with a lot of books. Newsletters and other facilities are also available on the campus. The college has a good tendency to support us with extracurricular activities. The college has a high-speed, working Wi-Fi network.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are very supportive. Most of the professors present in the college are well-qualified. The teaching methods of the lecturers are very comprehensive and advanced. The lecturers used the aid of projectors and all to teach us in better and efficient manner. There was about 1 professor for every 20 students. The college is NAAC accredited with a high grade of A. The college promotes internship in various industries and also gives a compulsory training program in HMT Ernakulam which all helps in giving us a huge industrial exposure. The course curriculum was compact and efficient which helped us to give a better understanding of modern technologies in the relevant fields.
Other: The college has recently got NAAC accredited with a grade of A. College also give a high priority for extracurricular activities like sports and arts. The college also supports industrial training programs and personality development programs. The college ground is new and renovated with a great grass on the ground.
