We have good faculty members, nice placement opportunities, and good infrastructure.

Placements: We have 100 percent placement in our college. The highest package is 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Home Centre and Unique. We also have 100 percent internship opportunities in different sectors, which students mostly secure on their own.

Infrastructure: We have good infrastructure and nice facilities. The quality of food is good, and all facilities are comfortable and clean. However, Wi-Fi and classroom facilities are still in the improvement process, as the college is located in an area with limited network connectivity. Despite this, the college provides the best possible network access at times. Currently, there is no canteen facility for day scholars, but we hope it will be available in the future.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, which helps us understand industry concepts clearly in a theoretical manner. The curriculum is relevant as it explains how the industry works. Exams are quite manageable since the teaching provides clear understanding.

Other: I chose this field because I wanted to pursue a creative course. The best part of this field is that it allows us to explore many different opportunities and ideas.

Good college with nice facilities. Active campus with a small crowd.

Placements: There is 100 percent campus placement. Companies like Zara, The Collective, Uniqlo, Walkaro, Homecenter, and Max participate. Placements are centralized in Noida. The types of roles offered are fashion executive, visual merchandiser, designer, and retail.

Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi that is easily accessible for students. It has smart classrooms with AC. There are separate boys’ and girls’ canteens. The food is average but manageable. There is Saveetha nearby, along with a small hospital.

Faculty: The teachers teach well and also help and encourage students to attend events to gain exposure. The curriculum is designed so that students learn not only about fabrics but also leather. The semester exams are easy, though the jury is strict.

Other: There are lots of events happening in the college. The crowd is small, and the campus is very beautiful, facing the lake. The college continues to improve its facilities.

The college life of students is very enjoyable.

Placements: Placements are very satisfactory, with a minimum placement percentage of 90% for the fashion designing department. Top recruitment brands include Zara and H&M, which offer various domains like Visual Merchandising and designing. The minimum package offered for graduates is 4 LPA, and the highest offered is 7.5-8 LPA.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is constantly developing. Classrooms have comfortable seating spaces and desks, with AC facilities. Adequate labs are available to get hands-on practical experience. The Wi-Fi is a little unstable because of the location of the college.

Faculty: The faculty members are very knowledgeable and friendly. They help the students to understand the subjects and curriculum better and clarify doubts at any time. Each semester has a mid-term and end term examination. For the fashion department, the exams are mostly practical with one or two theory papers.

Other: I’m studying in the Fashion Design department. The overall course is satisfactory, with hands-on training, and up-to-date with the industry. There are lots of interesting IVs, and you can reach out to faculty members at any time for queries. There are very enjoyable, fun festivities and celebrations all through the year, helping students to connect with each other.

FDDI - an overview of the college.

Placements: There's a 100% placement record here, and all different kinds of brands come for scouting, but the placement is mostly centralized, meaning students have to go to Noida to get placed, and fdp (footwear designing) students get better placements than the fashion designing ones.

Infrastructure: The hostel is good enough. The mess is not bad; I'd give it 5/10. But there are no basic snacks/amenities in the canteen area. The sports area is fine. There's no medical facility on campus. Mess food is bad, but manageable. We don't have separate canteens for north India and south India, but it's manageable.

Faculty: The faculty members are not that experienced. They'd teach you the basics, but designing is mostly experimenting and self-learning; you go to a lot of internships and learn by yourself. This college is definitely overpriced for the amenities it provides. For this tuition/college fee, I'd expect more from the college side.

Other: Events are nice, but there are hardly 500 people in this college, so having fun with a lot of people is rare. There's always a sports and cultural day held each semester. Some are exciting, while others are just okay. Students have to find most of the events. The college will provide only a part of it.

You can have fun while learning design.

Placements: I am in my 3rd year. I got a good internship opportunity to work with the designer Vino Supraja and applied my design understanding using Photoshop and clo3D I learnt here in college. About 90 percent of students got placed, as the field is subjective, if we do well in all four years and make a decent portfolio, placement is usually confirmed. Designer, stylist, and costume designer roles are offered to students along with retail manager roles. I am enjoying my time here.

Infrastructure: The building is cool. Hostel food is decent, and the campus is green with a cool lakeside view. Hostel, classrooms and labs are fully Wi-Fi-enabled. Classrooms have AC. The library is rich in content and there is a regular supply of the latest journals and magazines. Many students play table tennis, volleyball, and badminton after classes.

Faculty: Most teachers are good. A few teachers are exceptionally good. I would like to mention here that Dr. Singh is among the best faculty here. The curriculum is good and teaches us everything that we need for the industry. Computer-aided designing is also in accordance with the latest requirements. Practical subjects have jury evaluation and theory exams that happen twice a semester. I guess 40 percent is the pass percentage.

Other: College offers opportunities to participate in Lake Fashion Week as an assistant to designers and interns. All festivals are celebrated with enthusiasm. The annual college fest is fun.

Placements: I am from fashion design department, Almost 99% of students get placed in various prestigious Brands for around 4-8 LPA , Namely: Zara , H& M , Max and Zudio, Almost alll the students gets intership from various companies . VM , Retailer, Designer and Stylist

Infrastructure: We all the labs namely Garment construction lab , pattern making lab , classrooms , orientation all , library, auditorium and seminar halls . We have smart classes with Projector installed and with A/C . Hostel facility is also there with Canteen food and Rooms are non- AC

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable , teaching will be bilingual and teachers will help students to understand and learn the concepts. It makes students industry ready , Semester exams are easy to face and students can pass with the ease.

Good institute for fashion design.

Placements: 90% placements in the fashion design department. Top brands like Zara, H&M, etc. The lowest package is 3 LPA and the highest is 7.5 - 8 LPA. Mostly they are only for visual merchandising and some designer jobs from the brand notebook, etc. To get placed in good companies, your technical knowledge and portfolio should be good.

Infrastructure: The college Wi-Fi is good. Labs will be open late at night for students to complete work (with staff present). Classrooms have AC, and benches are neat and new. There is no separate canteen, but day scholars can pay and buy from the mess. Limited variety of foods. The library can be used at any time during college hours. Various activities are done on Fridays.

Faculty: Some teachers are really good and know their subject well, and for some subjects, you have to self-learn. The semester theory exams are easy and for practical, you have to be strong with basic and technical knowledge of the subject. The students can learn by going to internships in companies to gain experience.
