Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty and placements, the infrastructure is very bad.
Placements: To be honest, companies do visit the campus, but they keep a placement pool where students from nearby colleges also visit and give interviews. Many seniors of mine have been sitting in multiple interviews and are still not placed despite of have 8 plus CGPA. A few of them with 9 plus CGPA have opted for non-tech roles like HR, etc because of the pressure of not getting selected by tech companies, so most of them have 3.5 LPA and max 4 LPA. Hardly 5-8 people have got more than 5 LPA, and that too by off-campus.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is for faculty only, and LAN is for computer labs, which is also very slow, out of 40, only 30 computers hardly work. Classes are for 80-90 students with 6 fans and wooden benches. The hostel is horrible, and the food is bad too. The sports room has 1 table tennis, 1 carrom, and 1 chessboard, nothing else. Almost everybody changes their hostel after staying in it for 1st year.
Faculty: Only 3-4 faculties are eligible enough to teach because they know about their subjects, other all are just reading out the PPTs and nothing else. Mid exams are conducted twice a day, and then remedial exams are taken 2 times for those who are failing. External exams are tough compared to internal exams, and almost all students have above 7 CGPA.
Other: There are CP, CSD, IT ,IOT, ICT, and all of them are 95-98% same, except for 2-3 subjects from the whole course of 8 semesters. So, counting 90 students per branch is 450 students sitting in the placement for every tech company coming. If CVM University organises any events, then only the event happens for all colleges under CVM , no college events are conducted, and if it happens, the organising team is biased and makes their own team the winners to avoid price distribution.

Placement and college life are average.
Placements: Placement Rate is around 65 to 70 percent. The highest Package offered is 9 LPA, average Package is 3 LPA and lowest Package is 1.8 LPA. Top Recruiting Companies are Einfochips, Matrix Comsec and Tatvasoft. 60 percent students got internships through college mostly in core and IT services companies. Top Roles Offered: Software Trainee, QA Engineer, Embedded Developer, Support Engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the Information Technology department is average. Basic labs and classrooms are available. The equipment and environment are not up to the mark for practical, hands-on learning in a modern IT curriculum. The college also lacks a proper sports ground, which limits outdoor activities and overall campus life. The hostel stay is decent in terms of accommodation and security. Rooms are livable and maintained, but the mess is the biggest downside. Poor food quality and hygiene issues are common concerns among students.
Faculty: The faculty in the IT department is mixed. Some professors are knowledgeable and supportive, while others rely heavily on theoretical teaching with limited practical exposure. Industry-level insights are lacking in regular lectures. The curriculum follows the standard GTU-aligned structure, covering essential subjects in software development, networking, and database systems. It's not fully aligned with the latest industry trends like cloud computing, DevOps, or cybersecurity unless pursued through electives or self-learning.

Shared my experience of the first year.
Placements: I am currently pursuing CSE (IoT) from GCET. Placed students in IOT is 30 out of 70 which makes 42 percent placement percentage. The highest package is 8 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 4.17 LPA. Top recruiters are Edu-versity, Unlox Academy, GFL, Alpha E Barcode, and Royale Cheese. Most people obtain internship. About 70 percent of students got internships.
Infrastructure: There are ACs only available in labs not in the classroom, a pretty basic building, a school-like classroom with a smart board. Wi-Fi (low speed) is available and Ethernet connections are available in labs. Food is pretty decent. Sports and games at the university level are good. We have inter-university, college league, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable and have specialisation in their subjects. They are well supportive and qualified. Most of them have completed their PhD and Master's. When we look at all subjects the curriculum is perfect. The difficulty of subjects increases as the semester changes like basic to advanced subjects which also change every semester but we are taught their advanced form. Semester exams are not much of a deal. Internal and external exams are the real deal. 3.2 score is required per subject.

You should take admission here. I am very satisfied.
Placements: In our course, the previous year there was around 70% placement ratio which was good enough. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. So it was good enough. In our college, an internship is compulsory, so all the students have to do internships.
Infrastructure: Hostel fee is like getting a diamond for free. They provide good food and good rooms, and the hygiene level is maintained at the top. Rooms have WiFi with good speed so that you can enjoy videos and studies. The library is big and very silent so book lovers can find peace there.
Faculty: We have very supportive faculty members and all are well qualified. They help with your walk-in interviews. Exams are moderate so that all can pass and understand the concepts. Semester exams are like a cup of water. It is just for concept clearances so not much tough, could be passed easily.
Other: Campus is big enough and kept clean.

Overall, the college atmosphere is good and well-known in Anand city.
Placements: The number of student are placed at more than 80%. Top recruiting companies are related to Web development, like frontend and backend developers, and other software programmers. Also, some companies are looking for an AIML engineer for their machine learning Project. Till now, the highest package offered to the student is 7.5 LPA, and the lowest Package offered is 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for college are like old school. There is no AC classroom in entire college, and the wi-fi facilities are not as good as required. The provided library does not have the latest version of the book. Facilities in hostel are good, including a mess and a canteen. Food is also above average.
Faculty: There is a well-qualified faculty, and teachers are present. The provided material is copied from internet, but still, this is good. The college effort to make student industry-ready is very low, student make themself industry-ready by their own hard work.
