This college is best for the current time because many reputed companies are visiting.
Placements: In my field of electronics and communication, the placement ratio is good enough if we compare my college to other colleges. Almost 70% of students are getting placements. The average package is 3 Lacs per annum, and the highest package is around 12 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: There are big enough labs and auditorium halls available for many functions. There are many types of classrooms available for each subject’s perpendicular match. Free Wi-Fi is also available in the whole college. There is also good enough food quality at the hostel mess. It also holds many sports games and many more interesting things .
Faculty: Our all faculty are working with our college for almost 10-12 years, and they all have very good enough experience in their own subjects and fields. They all are passing out their B.Tech, M.Tech, and phds from big reputed names like IITs and NITs, top colleges of all over India.
Other: The future of EC is looking bright because our government is focusing on semiconductor projects. There are also many events held in our college, and many celebrities have arrived for performances.

I am satisfied because of its faculty members and placements.
Placements: Around 229 students get placed in 40 different companies like TCS, Infosys, Maruti, Zeus, Reliance, VVdN, Torrent, Torrent Power, Quanta, Narola, etc. The average salary package offered is 8.50 LPA to 5 students, and the medium salary pacakge offered varies between 8 LPA to 1.20 LPA to 50 students. Around 40 companies visited the institute this year.
Infrastructure: This college has a huge campus with library, girls' and boys' hostel. It also provides an auditorium and cafeteria. The department is like a computer, civil, mechatronics with a separate building. It has a huge parking facility and 3 gardens with a basketball court and an indoor games court.
Faculty: Every teacher is well qualified and knowledgeable. Every department has the best teachers. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it does make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not hard, if students prepare well. The passing percentage is 33%.
Other: This college has good activities for every type of student.

I had a good experience overall according to the fees.
Placements: Almost 70%-80% of the students get placed from our course. The highest salary package offered is 5.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 3.6 LPA. Infosys and TCS are the top recruiting companies. Here internships are not conducted, and students have to find internships on their own.
Infrastructure: There is a huge library with a lot of books which we can borrow. Classrooms also have computers. Labs have air-conditioners and other facilities like Wi-Fi, etc. The hostel facility is below average. The rooms are very old, and they just have a bed, almirah and study table. The food served in the mess is also below average.
Faculty: Teachers here were very talented as mostly all the professors have done a PhD from well-known colleges like IIT, etc. So, they have a huge knowledge of the course and the subject. Students become industry-ready after they complete the course. The difficulty in passing the semester examinations is above average. But if students study seriously, then they can pass easily. The pass percentage of students is around 50%-60%.
Other: I chose my course because now EC department will grow vast in the upcoming future. Here a very famous event named youth festival and Volcano are organised, so every student will surely enjoy them.

Placements in this college are good.
Placements: Placements in our college are not on par. The average students get placed in software companies with average packages. But no hardware-based companies visit the campus for the interview. These companies hire only a few students and reject all others.
Infrastructure: Facilities like labs, classrooms, library and other facilities are available in our college. No free Wi-Fi facilities are available here. However, you can access Wi-Fi in your PCs. The college conducts only a few sports and games activities. There is a primary health centre, but it's situated away from the campus. Lab components and facilities are good.
Faculty: All the facilities offered in the department are good. All the faculty members have completed their graduation from good colleges, and all the faculty are also having a good experience. They can help with our projects. Most of the faculty members are poor in completing the course.
Other: Every year, a national-level tech-fest named Imaze is organised for 3-4 days.

This is a decent college to pursue engineering courses.
Placements: Placements in our college are decent. Around 70% of the students of our batch got placed in through the campus placement drives with a decent salary package. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Alpha 9, and L&T, etc., visit for placement drives. The average package offered was 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. We have decent classrooms and a huge library. Our labs are well-equipped. The Wi-Fi available here is accessible only in laptops and desktops. The college offers the hostel facility by tieing up with private hostels. These facilities are average. The food offered in the hostels is also average.
Faculty: In our branch, some faculty members are really helpful and well qualified. The way of teaching of some faculty members is excellent, but some are not up to the mark. The faculty to student ratio is 1:70. GTU decides the course curriculum. The course is well diversified and helps the students learn many concepts.
Other: GCET organises many technical and non-technical events. The main event organised here is Imaze.

Walking down the memory lane. ?
Placements: They bring in so many good start ups in, which provides the opportunity to students to be best at technical work they learn in college. So many IT companies also give preference to Electronics and Communication Engineering students for their talents in linking the hardware with the coding for automation purpose. Placement cell is very active. If student is average at academics and manages to be eligible for placement and is interested in the same then the team will surely make sure that he/she is placed. One of the good colleges of Gujarat, GCET has the Better brand-name to attract companies to come for placement drives.
Infrastructure: Small, Sweet and Beautiful campus of GCET makes me nostalgic about it even today. There are laboratories well-equipped with all the necessary equipments. Lab assistants are so Frank and Happy to help you with issuing the components of your wish. Every laboratory session is important as faculty members take special interest in labs too. Also I feel nostalgic about the techfect IMAZE when the college looks awesome and during performance time the Auditorium is the best place one can be.
Faculty: Few of the faculty members are really good. The whole curriculum is covered by them in the lectures. If not possible in lectures, they are willing to arrange extra classes for students to cover the whole course. Regularity of faculty members taking lectures and lab sessions can be considered 100%. Students don't have to bother about their time not being utilized in college.
Other: As already mentioned in infrastructure part, IMAZE is the Fest which is organized on college level where all other colleges are invited to take part. There are many events taking place in this fest branch wise. Loved to be the volunteer and Co-coordinator for 2 consecutive years. Also there is DJ night and cultural night. Rehearsal time for this cultural night is always special for everyone. There are many reasons: 1. You can get to know new students from different branches, seniors and juniors. 2. You would rehearse the things that you like. I just loved to be the Anchoring head in these cultural nights almost every year.

Completely satisfied with the culture of the college.
Placements: The placements are very great in the college. There is a complete different department dedicated to the placements of the students. The department consists the support of the students. All the eligible students get placed or atleast get a shot at placements. The placement ratio of the college is 100%. Overall college is great with placements.
Infrastructure: The insfracture of the college is excellent. There is personal hostel available with the capacity to accomodate all the students studying in the college. The campus of the college is also very well facilitated. The labs are very well designed and have all the modern equipment available.
Faculty: The faculty members of the college are great. They have complete knowledge of all the subjects they are teaching. The courses taught here are excellent and very interesting. The faculty members are very keen to share their knowledge with the students. They are always helpful and supportive.

Satisfied because of good placements.
Placements: Many companies come for placements. Infosys, Tech Mahindra and other MNC IT companies visit for placements. E-info chip, Mindtree, IBM, and other companies conduct pool campus drives. In 2015, the highest number of students were placed. On day 0, Infosys came to the college. The highest package offered was around 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good. The library is also good. Labs are also good, and the lab equipment is also maintained properly. I haven't stayed in the hostel, so no idea about that. Canteen food is also okay. Many food stalls are available near the college, which is healthy and tasty.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. No doubt, some faculty members are not good and arrogant. But the rest of them are very good, and they teach very well. We got industry exposure. The course is too long to finish. Faculty members are very helpful, knowledgeable and are highly qualified.
Other: Many technical fests, extracurricular activities take place.
