Overview of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: More than half the students who opted were placed. The average package was 4-6 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies were L&T, Jyoti CNC, Acite Solutions, Wipro, and other companies. The students were satisfied with the placements they got as freshers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. There were canteen facilities for both students and faculty members. There was an auditorium for events, hi-tech practical labs. The hostels were decent enough to stay in, and the mess food was of good quality as well. There were also indoor games facilities and a common ground for outdoor sports.
Faculty: The faculty were very helpful and supportive towards the students and provided great insights. The course curriculum was such that the students were able to cope with the exams and assignments provided in a timely manner. Overall, a very good set. The passing percentage was also above 95%.
Other: I had a keen interest in the Mechatronics field and wanted to drive deeper into the area. I would like if I had the freedom to choose the subjects that were given as mandatory subjects. The events and clubs in the college were very good and helpful in attaining leadership and teamwork skills, as well as communication skills with peers and faculty members.

It is a good place to gain knowledge.
Placements: About 51 students in my batch and different courses like machine process engineering, thermodynamics engineering design, etc., are placed. About 98% of students got placed. The highest package offered is about 6 LPA, and the lowest package is about 1 LPA. The top recruiting companies are MG Motors, TATA Motors etc. About 90% of students got internships in different companies like Anand GIDC, TATA Motors and other online internships. The top roles offered are senior design engineer, product engineer etc.
Infrastructure: The lab facilities are quite good. The infrastructure of our college is quite old as it was built in 1996. The hostel facilities are not quite good as the hostel building is quite old and no renovation is being done yet. The food is average.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful in any field. The teaching quality is good. Not all teachers are experienced in teaching, but it can be managed with the help of other faculty. The course curriculum is good as the necessary knowledge is provided. Students are taught hands-on work and not only theoretical knowledge. Semester exams are difficult, and the passing percentage is 33%.

Review of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: The college has a good mentor for students every year. Recruitment is also good enough. The average salary package offered ranges from 5-8 LPA. Overall, it is worth taking admission here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available all over campus. The lab has the necessary facilities, including the necessary program membership. There is multiple first aid room all over the campus. Sports facilities are incredible. Almost all sports and games equipment are in good condition.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-educated and experienced. Teaching is one of the best advantages of this college. The semester continues up to 6 months. It is a well-designed course. Semester exams are not much tough because they teach like legends. They also conduct the best industrial visits.
Other: The best thing about the mechatronics course is that we learn about all the latest technology which has been introduced in the world. I have chosen this course because I have a desire for the automation process and the thrust of learning all technology. It also provides a number of clubs to enhance our ideas and knowledge.

It is a good college, but I suggest thinking again.
Placements: It is the best college in the region, and they teach you every theory in the syllabus. Students only have to do assignments and give mid-semester exams. Our college won't give funds for your group projects like Robocon.
Infrastructure: Swaminarayan Hostel is nearby, which is a 5-star hostel. It is 5 times bigger than GCET. Games, courts and canteen are not available, and students can't use Wi-Fi. The food is good. The library is good. It is near a school, and during the rainy season, the entire college is drowned in.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. Some part of the syllabus is 15 years old. The teaching methodology is also old, but it is GTU's method. It is a CVM University, and it is better. Academically, this college is the best for preparing students for GATE or IELTS.
Other: After IITs, NITs and GFTIs, it is the best private college. All private engineering colleges are generally the same. Students are disciplined and hardworking here, which makes the difference. Events, extracurricular activities and seminars are very few. Our college only focuses on studies.

Faculty members are excellent and experienced.
Placements: Placements in our college are very good. About 4 to 5 years ago, Alpha company hired some students with a salary package of 18 LPA after training. Many top companies like Tata, MG Hector, Atul, Infosys and many others visited here. The average salary package offered is 5 to 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: For our department, there is a separate building in which many labs like sensor, project and fluid mechanics labs are available. Wi-Fi facilities and a library are available here. The hostel facility is good, and the mess food is also good.
Faculty: Faculty members in the mechatronics department are excellent and well-experienced. Most of them have done their PhDs from IITs, and they are well-knowledgeable. The course curriculum is based on the overall development of students, and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this option because automation is the future. Many events are organised in our college in which students can take part and win awards. Many scholarship programs are available in our college.
