Overview of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: More than half the students who opted were placed. The average package was 4-6 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies were L&T, Jyoti CNC, Acite Solutions, Wipro, and other companies. The students were satisfied with the placements they got as freshers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. There were canteen facilities for both students and faculty members. There was an auditorium for events, hi-tech practical labs. The hostels were decent enough to stay in, and the mess food was of good quality as well. There were also indoor games facilities and a common ground for outdoor sports.
Faculty: The faculty were very helpful and supportive towards the students and provided great insights. The course curriculum was such that the students were able to cope with the exams and assignments provided in a timely manner. Overall, a very good set. The passing percentage was also above 95%.
Other: I had a keen interest in the Mechatronics field and wanted to drive deeper into the area. I would like if I had the freedom to choose the subjects that were given as mandatory subjects. The events and clubs in the college were very good and helpful in attaining leadership and teamwork skills, as well as communication skills with peers and faculty members.

It is a good place to gain knowledge.
Placements: About 51 students in my batch and different courses like machine process engineering, thermodynamics engineering design, etc., are placed. About 98% of students got placed. The highest package offered is about 6 LPA, and the lowest package is about 1 LPA. The top recruiting companies are MG Motors, TATA Motors etc. About 90% of students got internships in different companies like Anand GIDC, TATA Motors and other online internships. The top roles offered are senior design engineer, product engineer etc.
Infrastructure: The lab facilities are quite good. The infrastructure of our college is quite old as it was built in 1996. The hostel facilities are not quite good as the hostel building is quite old and no renovation is being done yet. The food is
average.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful in any field. The teaching quality is good. Not all teachers are experienced in teaching, but it can be managed with the help of other faculty. The course curriculum is good as the necessary knowledge is provided. Students are taught hands-on work and not only theoretical knowledge. Semester exams are difficult, and the passing percentage is 33%.

Review of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: The college has a good mentor for students every year. Recruitment is also good enough. The average salary package offered ranges from 5-8 LPA. Overall, it is worth taking admission here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available all over campus. The lab has the necessary facilities, including the necessary program membership. There is multiple first aid room all over the campus. Sports facilities are incredible. Almost all sports and games equipment are in good condition.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-educated and experienced. Teaching is one of the best advantages of this college. The semester continues up to 6 months. It is a well-designed course. Semester exams are not much tough because they teach like legends. They also conduct the best industrial visits.
Other: The best thing about the mechatronics course is that we learn about all the latest technology which has been introduced in the world. I have chosen this course because I have a desire for the automation process and the thrust of learning all technology. It also provides a number of clubs to enhance our ideas and knowledge.

It is a good college, but I suggest thinking again.
Placements: It is the best college in the region, and they teach you every theory in the syllabus. Students only have to do assignments and give mid-semester exams. Our college won't give funds for your group projects like Robocon.
Infrastructure: Swaminarayan Hostel is nearby, which is a 5-star hostel. It is 5 times bigger than GCET. Games, courts and canteen are not available, and students can't use Wi-Fi. The food is good. The library is good. It is near a school, and during the rainy season, the entire college is drowned in.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. Some part of the syllabus is 15 years old. The teaching methodology is also old, but it is GTU's method. It is a CVM University, and it is better. Academically, this college is the best for preparing students for GATE or IELTS.
Other: After IITs, NITs and GFTIs, it is the best private college. All private engineering colleges are generally the same. Students are disciplined and hardworking here, which makes the difference. Events, extracurricular activities and seminars are very few. Our college only focuses on studies.

Faculty members are excellent and experienced.
Placements: Placements in our college are very good. About 4 to 5 years ago, Alpha company hired some students with a salary package of 18 LPA after training. Many top companies like Tata, MG Hector, Atul, Infosys and many others visited here. The average salary package offered is 5 to 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: For our department, there is a separate building in which many labs like sensor, project and fluid mechanics labs are available. Wi-Fi facilities and a library are available here. The hostel facility is good, and the mess food is also good.
Faculty: Faculty members in the mechatronics department are excellent and well-experienced. Most of them have done their PhDs from IITs, and they are well-knowledgeable. The course curriculum is based on the overall development of students, and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this option because automation is the future. Many events are organised in our college in which students can take part and win awards. Many scholarship programs are available in our college.

Review of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Students get placed in their 4th year. I think the packages offered are around 18-20 LPA. Many companies like L&T, BYJU's, Birla, Tata, etc., come to our college. Lots of students got placed.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are average. The library is excellent. Hostel facilities are bad. Mess food is average. The canteen is good. Games and events are always organised in our college. Medical facilities are good.
Faculty: All the teachers are good. They teach quite perfectly. Their teaching quality is excellent. As more recruiters look for job-ready candidates, the education institutes are fast-adopting the courses and curriculum that meet industry needs.
Other: I chose this course because I like automation. Everything is fine. Many activities are organised in our college.

Review of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: As per my knowledge, and which I gain from the seniors and our TPC committee, about 30-40 students out of 60 in our course got placed. But sometimes about 20-30% of the students not even sit in placement because they opt for higher studies. So about 80-90% of the students get placed. My two seniors got a salary package of 5.5 LPA from Godrej. I also read about Alpha 9, which offered a salary package of 13 LPA, but I listened that they initially charge 5-6 LPA and gives fake promises. I think Godrej, FANUC, Atul Motors and Schoogle TGES offered a salary package that ranges between 2.5-6 LPA. Chegg India offered a salary that ranges between Rs. 30,000-80,000 per month. Chola Insurance Academy offered a salary of 3 LPA. The salary package offered by Go Speedy Go is 4.12 LPA. The salary package offered can be more as per the student's performance and eligiblity. For an internship, Go speedy Go offered a stipend of 3.6 LPA with 2 variable during an internship. It also offered 7 LPA with variable post-internships for 6 months.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. It is designed in such a way that light and air circulation is perfect. The only thing I do not like is that the campus is very small, but it is optimised perfectly.
They also managed cleanliness better and daily.
Labs and classrooms are also clean and Comfortable. All lab has all the required instruments and maintenance. It has its own GIS GCET internet system, and you can access from anywhere from on the campus area. I do not know much about the hostel because I am a day scholar. But I listened from my mates that in the hostel, facilities like water, cleanliness, mess food, maintenance, etc., are not that much good. It is compulsory to stay in the college hostel for 1st year. Sports and cultural activities are good and managed by students and also their faculty coordinator. The canteen is very bad. But right now, new canteen is constructed as per the request and complain from many students.
Faculty: All faculty members in our college are good enough with their knowledge. But not all have such capability to express their knowledge in a very effective way. In our department, compared to other departments, in our college, there are a great number of M.Tech qualified and PhD holder faculty members from IITs with experience. Some faculty members have the industry experience so they can able to give their experience and practical knowledge about the industry for students.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am very passionate about robotics. I want to learn about automation and want to gain knowledge of all the branches. The best thing about our course is you can able to learn about mechanical, computer, electronics and electrical branch. While learning this course, you will be definitely able to decide your area of interest and can opt for further studies in your interest. I wish the college should provide more modern and new technologies in robotics and in automation in the final year. It should take projects and design engineering little seriously. All events organised by the college are good, but I mostly liked our annual tech fest organised at our college. Extracurricular activities are conducted at our college. If you are interested in cultural activities, then you are very lucky if you work With YAC sir. He is a great man.

Good for campus placement.
Placements: For placement, college has training and placement cell. Which is helpful for campus placement training. Aptitude test, group discussion, preparation for personal interviews are include in training. As per percentage of placement records our college secure among top 50 institute in india. Popular companies placed students like fanuc, tcs, l & t, godrej, torrent, reliance etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is one of best things from the college. It has free Wi-Fi, library, medical facility, garden. Capacity of students is around 80. in every class projector facilities also provide for presentation lectures. College have auditorium with very good seating (450) capacity. Bad thing of college have canteen issues.
Faculty: Yes, all teachers are good qualified with Ph.D. they all ready to help us in any kind of difficulty related to syllabus or any projects. They use the latest teaching methods using ppts, videos. Student to faculty ratio is 15:1. college arrange industrial visits as per requirements. Course curriculum is little bit poor. It has basic subjects but we have to prepare self with the latest technology.
Other: Every year our college organized national level techfest. Which is biggest fect of our college. Also arrange dj nights, annual function. In our college have many technical society of student chapters like ieee, isa, asme, iste.
