I got a placement from my college placement office. This is only honest review you need to read.
Placements: In my course, most of students are dumb enough that they don't have enough skills to land a placement. Most students go to Canada for masters due to poor education. I got 2 internships at once, still they won't give me NOC. I got reminded due to that. They won't even give you medical leave. Remember, if you take admission here you will regret it for sure. The chairman only wants money, no placement at all. I got placement from my college, still I would say don't take admission.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is there, labs are good, and there is library too but they are very old. Canteen is very poor only good thing is hostel. It's pretty good with good infrastructure. Course is totally bad, they won't even teach you 20% of the placement, you are on your own.
Faculty: I would say it's very poor. Professors don't know a thing in reality and everything is theory-based, with no practical knowledge. Top professors are much more dumb. I would say many students have more knowledge than that professor. Faculty members are totally clueless, they won't give you even 1% education. You are whole on your own. It's very poor I would say my professors are just the worst.
Other: Batch is good, and students are good. But course is very poor, and I would say they should add some newer technology at least.

Lab, classroom, teaching style, and placement need improvement; not worth it for the fees.
Placements: In our placements, it is not good. When I visited the college for the first time, I asked about the average package and the highest package. They told me lies; now our placement scenario is very poor. Just approximately 10-15% of students are placed, and the remaining 85% are still not placed, despite 70-75% of companies visiting. The companies do not offer a good package and sign a 2.5-3-year bond with a low amount.
Infrastructure: Some courses are good, and many subjects are very old, which are not needed, and the subject scheduling is not good. Good, placement-needed courses are taught late. Hostel rooms are good, and Wi-Fi is provided properly in the rooms. The hostel's mess food tastes okay sometimes, and sometimes not good.
Faculty: Many faculty members are just reading from PPTs & PDFs, mostly theoretical, and are trying to complete the syllabus quickly. Feedback forms are not taken seriously. The college exam structure is good. They need to improve their approach to teaching, and junior teachers are not able to handle the crowd.
Other: I want to say it's not "value for money." You invest approximately a total of 6-7 lakhs rupees for 4 years, and what you are getting in return is a placement for 3.5-4.5 LPA with a 2.5-3-year bond. They are increasing seats but not taking responsibility for quality teaching.

Good and bad sides of GCET.
Placements: G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology offers students placement opportunities with almost 20 to 30 companies. The average package last year is 4 LPA, and so far, the maximum package for the 2024–2025 batch is around 25 LPA. This college provides the best opportunities to students.
Infrastructure: G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology has the best facilities for students. There are almost 8 to 9 labs available for programming. All labs have i7 computers with high graphic cards for coding. This college has a two-floor library one floor for reading library books and the other for writing.
Faculty: G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology has the best faculty for all subjects. All faculty members are very humble and experienced. They are always ready to help students. Each faculty member holds either a Ph.D. or a Master's degree in their respective subject. Every faculty member has their own, but effective, teaching method. Overall, faculty members are good and humble.

STRONG ACADEMICS FACILITIES, BUT PLACEMENT NEED IMPROVEMENT AT G.H. PATEL COLLEGE OF ENG & TECH.
Placements: If I am talking about the course, the course is outstanding. They made the course in this way that it covers all areas of your skill set. If I am talking about the placement cell this year, in 2024-25, 10 companies visited our campus and placed 18 students. The highest package is 7.00 LPA, and the average package is 4.40 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities: Study table is provided. 24-hour hot water supply and water available. Mess food is also good in taste, and every 15 days, there will be a fest on Sunday. Wi-Fi connection in hostel rooms. Infrastructure available for my department (Information Technology): Smart boards in classrooms. Wi-Fi in labs and campus. Library is also available on our campus. Auditorium is also available.
Faculty: Faculty is also nice and helps us to solve complex codes. They are qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality of the teachers is good. Not all of them, but quite a few are the best. The course curriculum is also excellent and makes students industry-ready because they made the course in this way, providing knowledge to students in all areas of life and preparing students for the industry.

Good placements and good faculty .
Placements: Approximately 66.73% of students were placed, with 375 out of 538 students securing jobs. The highest package offered was INR 25 LPA, the lowest was INR 1.6 LPA, and the average salary stood at INR 4.40 LPA for UG students. Companies like IBM, Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys actively recruit from GCET.
Infrastructure: There are no smart boards in all the classes. And also there is no air conditioning in the all classes. The WiFi in the college building is a little weak. And also our computer labs computers are very slow and old generation computers.
Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified, approachable, and supportive, contributing to a positive learning environment. Teaching quality is generally rated as good, with a focus on practical applications. The curriculum is relevant and designed to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are considered moderately challenging, with a pass percentage of around 70%.

Our college provides good faculty members and placements.
Placements: Almost 60-70% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered varies between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys and TCS. Many students got internships in top companies. The top roles offered are data scientist, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in our college and hostels. There are 10 laboratories in our department with 250 computers. Laboratory is air-conditioned and well-furnished. Classrooms are spacious with blackboards and projectors. The library has many books like GATE exam books, all branches books, and other reading books. A reading room is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. All of them are Ph.D. scholars. They are also very knowledgeable and have good communication skills. They are also friendly with students. The course curriculum is well designed and all subjects are required for a student like different languages, management subnect, etc. It also makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderately difficult as it includes some analytical thinking questions which are good for students' knowledge. The passing marks are 75 out of 150.

Infrastructure: Our college provides every facility that is needed by any student studying in any branch. We have Wi-Fi access in every sector. We have well-developed computer and coding labs as well as electrical labs, with every piece of equipment that is required. We have a cafeteria that is a very famous place in the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are kind and helpful. Every faculty member has proper knowledge of their domain and has very good experience in teaching. Many of them have done Ph.D.s and some of them are currently doing it. The course curriculum is very relevant to the domain. It covers all the topics that are required. Semester exams are moderate. One must have proper knowledge of the subject.
Other: I have been fascinated by computers since I was in the tenth grade, so I decided to pursue a career in this field. There are many clubs. They conduct technical and non-technical events. Our college provides many opportunities to do extra activities.
