Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements in 2022.

Placements: Majority of IT companies have visited here for placements in 2022. There are few Mechanical and civil /core companies that came with less packages. Some companies do list job openings but after we apply for them, there is no interview and information about the company. Only 4-5 students got placed in core companies from the college.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure in Ghraet college are above average. Classrooms are normal. Library is good and all the book are available in it. In labs, some practical equipments are available and some are missing. Canteen’s food is good.

Faculty: Student section not much helpful. Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Industry visit is less. I thing it is due to the pandemic. The semester exams’ level is medium. They are neither too hard nor too much easy. They provide free 1-2 extra courses as Certificate but they are not enough.

Our college has good placement for CS and IT background.

Placements: Around 70 to 75% of students got placed. The highest salary package is 10 LPA, the average salary package was 3.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Byjus, and L&T. Around 50 to 60% of students got internships. The roles offered are analyst, senior analyst, and web developer. There are not much placements from core companies.

Infrastructure: There are many facilities and good infrastructure. College has a library, playground, Wi-Fi, digital classrooms, labs, and workshop. Hostel food is good with good facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. Some faculty members have done Ph.D. from IITs and NITs. Students can be ready for the industry by enhancing knowledge, taking correct guidance from faculty members, regularly attending lectures, and clearing basic concepts. The pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose this course to learn about machines. College should improve theory subjects with practical examples. There are a lot of events and fests. They give scholarships to the students.

The scholarship is allotted generally to the candidates who have got the admission in CAP rounds. It is difficult for you to claim the fee waiver scholarship from the Government of Maharashtra. For which scholarship you are applying read the terms it will be mentioned there.
