YCCE admission is based on merit scores of the students in the last qualifying exam or course-level entrances accepted by it. The institution offers various programmes at UG and PG levels. After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced

My college Yashwantrao Chavan College of Engineering is one of the best colleges.
Placements: In 2024-25, the percentage of students placed in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering is 93%. The total placed students are 852%. The highest package is 11.88 LPA, while the average package is from 3 to 6.5 LPA, and the lowest package is from 3 to 4 LPA. There are many top recruiting companies like LTTS, Capgemini, Cognizant, HCL, JSW, and Reliance Industries. 100% of students got internships from the Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering branch. The top roles are VLSI Engineer, Embedded System Developer, Communication Engineer, and Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: In Yashwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE), Nagpur, we offer fully enabled Wi-Fi all over the campus with 1.5 Gbps internet. The labs are fully furnished with computer and electronic equipment (like CRO, Power supply, etc.). The classrooms are generally clean, large, with fans and lights. In summer, coolers are provided in each classroom. The library contains 30,000+ books, including the IEEE digital library. The food in the canteen is average, and medical facilities are provided by the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and many teachers have Ph.D. degrees in the Electronic and Telecommunication department. The curriculum is also changed every 2-3 years. Many workshops are also conducted by my branch. The exam is quite tough; you must get a minimum of 6.5 CGPA or above.
Other: The Electronics and Telecommunication department in YCCE is very good. Events like Yash are held on campus; they're very unique and interesting. The department events are also excellent. Scholarships are also available in YCCE.

Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering review.
Placements: The placement in our course was approximately 80 percent. The highest package offered in our course was 18 LPA. The average package was around 5-6 LPA. Top recruiters were SanDisk, LG, Surya, Philips, etc. Approximately 75 percent of students received internship offers.
Infrastructure: The facilities available for our course were sufficient for studying. Wi-Fi facility was available. Labs were well-equipped with the latest machinery for research work. A medical facility was available in the college. A cafeteria was present on the campus. A sports ground was also present.
Faculty: All the professors in our course were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Their explanation of the concept was excellent. The course curriculum was relevant. Their practical knowledge focused more. The semester examination depended on preparation. Around 85 -90 percent of students passed.

Very delightful experience in this college.
Placements: Around 70% of students got placed in our course. The highest package ranges from 10 to 12 LPA. The lowest package ranges from 4-5 LPA. Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Infosys and many other product-based companies visit our college to hire new students. Around 80% of students got internships. Roles like data analyst and software engineer are offered here.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in our course and departments are neither too good nor too bad. Wi-Fi is good. But labs, classrooms, and libraries are not very good in the electronic and communication engineering department because they are so old and not maintained. Winner hostel mess and canteen are okay, not too good and not too bad.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, knowledgeable, and friendly with students, except for a few professors. They support the students in whatever possible ways they can and encourage students to take part in activities held in college and outside the college, and they can be contacted anytime needed.
Other: I chose this course to become successful in life and move forward to a high-paying job. The best thing about the course is the responsibility and the technical section. If the course duration is high and the faculty members' level is high, then it should improve the course. Many more things, like many cultural events, fests, and sports events, are organised. The campus surroundings are improving.

Perfect college for the freshers.
Placements: In our course, there are a total of 120 students, and they are divided into two sections. In my course, the highest package that one can get is approximately 4 LPA-5 LPA, and the lowest can vary from 1 LPA-3 LPA. Infosys and TCS are the top recruiting companies. Around 90% of students got internships. The top roles offered in my course are software developer, AI developer, and graphic designer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good. The laboratory in our department is very good. All Open instruments are in running condition. All the consumable items are available in the laboratory. On the whole campus, Wi-Fi is available 24/7. All the classrooms have projectors. The library has a lot of books, including soft copies. Hostel facilities are very good. The canteen is very good. It also has medical facilities. Both indoor and outdoor sports and games facility is provided.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and teach really well. The course is updated according to the needs of the corporate market. The semester exams are thought to be mediocre, open in the app. Totally depends on each individual student how dedicated they are towards their studies. The pass percentage, I would say, 75%.
Other: I specifically chose this course because of its demands in the IT world. I was someone who wanted to study a course related to computers and make me ready for real-life problems. Obviously, the plus point of this college is that it provides excellent guidance and courses for self- development. Campus is anti-ragging free, and the fest login is really an attraction.

Overall nice experience in this college.
Placements: Approximately 70–80 percent of students are placed. The highest package is 16 LPA. The lowest package is 2.25 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Google, Berger, etc., are the top recruiters. Around 20–30 percent of students got internships from our college. The top roles are software developer, blockchain developer, cybersecurity, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college has a very beautiful, eye-catching view, and our labs and classrooms are very good. There are a lot of instruments available. Wi-Fi availability is present all over the campus. We have a very good collection of books in the library, and the library is also well stocked. Some of my friends stay in the hostel. The canteen is also open, but we rarely go to the canteen as I am staying outside.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified professionals, and their teaching skills are also good. Teachers in our college are helpful. We always appreciate and motivate ourselves. Subjects are easy because teachers clear doubts at any time. We go for industry visits and programs. The labs are good. Exams are good because teachers always check whether we have cheated or not. I passed with good marks because the teachers teach very good subjects.
Other: I chose this course because I am eager to learn about computers and new technology to help me build unique projects. Events and fests are top-notch in this college. Extra-curricular activities are also handled properly without hesitation.

The best college from my personal experience.
Placements: About 75% of the students are placed. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 24 LPA, the average salary package offered is about 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Tata Consultancy Services, Google, Amazon, Infosys, etc. Top roles offered to the students are software designer, cloud architect, etc. About 87% of the students got a paid internship from our college.
Infrastructure: Our college has an eye-catching infrastructure with many facilities. Some of the facilities include Wi-Fi all over the campus. Our classrooms are equipped with a projector. There is a central library with many books, with regular maintenance. There are labs with Linux, and every lab has a good internet connection. Canteen facilities are also good and well-maintained, and a variety of food is available there.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very helpful and well-qualified with PhDs. They help us to learn new things, but in the app, they are very strict in studies and discipline. Teaching is up to date as they use projectors and live examples. Preplacement training is given to every student, which makes us industry-ready with all the required skills. Subjects like Addons offered by Adobe and Red Hat in UI/UX, cloud computing and a lot help us to gain industry standards.
Other: I have chosen this course based on my interest. I think there is nothing wrong with this course. We have regular fests, annual days, fun activities, etc.
