Those who are considering it for good placement and campus, please don’t consider it.

Placements: The highest package offered for the 2025 batch is 12 LPA by IBM, but it is just for girls. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA for a teleservices executive role. The top recruiters are Infosys, Capgemini, and Cognizant. I don’t have a real idea regarding students who got internships, but Capgemini and Cognizant are offering internships, and most other students got internships on their own. The top roles are Advanced Software Engineer by Accenture, and other software roles from companies like IBM, PwC, Panasonic, etc.

Infrastructure: Hostels have Wi-Fi, but sometimes it doesn’t work. Labs, classrooms, and the library are fine, but all our labs have Mac systems that don’t run macOS they run Windows, and sometimes they are very laggy. About the mess, I am in the boys’ hostel for one year. That’s all from my experience. The menu remains the same for months. Initially, the food is nice, but then the quality becomes bad. At first, the breakfast and evening snacks are good, but then they become the worst. I don’t know the current status, but they say the cook has changed.

Faculty: Beside some staff, all the staff is helpful and tries to provide students the best they can. The semester exams are not too difficult. If you study just for an hour, you can pass the exam just fine. The passing percentage generally depends on the top-performing student in the batch for that subject. It is usually 40% of that.

Other: I am selected as a TFW candidate, and according to my research, the IT department is the best among all. If you are planning to be in Raisoni, my suggestion is to choose IT. The staff is very supportive.

The life-changing experience for a student.

Placements: There are 70 students in my class, and for taking admission in IT, you need to have a percentile greater than 85. The lowest package offered is 2.5 LPA for non-tech roles, while the average package offered is 3.25 LPA by TCS, TCE, Tech Mahindra, etc. The highest package offered is by Nutanix, which is 24 LPA. The number of students who got internships is almost 80%, and in the final year of 2024, at least 70% of students got placements.

Infrastructure: The facilities are quite good and friendly, where they clear our doubts. Every lab is provided with a LAN connection, and they are always connected to the Wi-Fi network. The hostel rooms are good and hygienic, with proper cleaning. The quality of food is okay; it is not so good and not so bad. The canteen serves good snacks and Chinese items. The college organizes various sports events and games for the students.

Faculty: The teachers are friendly and interactive with the students, and teachers are well-qualified with the highest education in their respective fields. The teachers need to be more updated about the latest trends in the industry so that they can provide the latest trend surveys in the industry. The college needs to upgrade its curriculum according to industry standards; new technologies should be included in the syllabus. The semester difficulty level is moderate.

Other: I chose this field because I always wanted to be an engineer and wanted to pursue my career in software development. Information Technology is the correct branch for starting a career in the IT field. The addition of more of the latest trends in the curriculum will help students to learn more relevant skills.
