Review of Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagar Yuwak Shikshan Sanstha.

Placements: Around 40-50% of students get placed in the CSE department. The highest salary package offered to a single student is 16 LPA. Approximately the average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, HCL, Darwinbox, Sahaj Software, Mahindra, etc. Almost 100% of students received internships. Roles offered are assistant or associate software developer, assistant executive engineer, junior system engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. All facilities are available including parking space, Wi-Fi, labs with computers and other instruments. There are clean classrooms with digital boards, and we also have a library with a great collection of books. I didn't opt for a hostel facility, but the quality of the canteen food is fine.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and highly qualified. They have a vast knowledge of their course. The teaching quality is better. The course curriculum is relevant. All teachers motivate their students. A few semester exams are easy, and a few are average. There is approximately a 60-65% chance that the exam will be easy.

Other: I chose CSE because of my interest in computers. Every year, a tech fest is organized along with an annual festival named Yash.

If you want to grind in your career then choose YCCE.

Placements: More than 90 percent used to get placed before the recession, but after the recession, it has decreased. However, it's not very low. Those who are good in academics and skills get placed before others; that is the thing. The companies are and many other big companies.

Infrastructure: We have a big library where there are all sorts of books for the subjects required for engineering needs. The library has Wi-Fi facility. Hostels are quite good in our college, and the food is good as well. For sports, there are not many facilities, but there is a sports club in college.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful; they encourage us to ask questions. Teaching quality is quite high as all teachers are experienced. Yes, the course is relevant for us. We can say it must make students industry-ready. Semester exams are very difficult in college.

Other: I chose because it was on boom.

I'm satisfied with this college.

Placements: Placements are not yet started but our college works very hard to provide placements to all students. The lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA and the highest salary package is 22 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, TCS, Infosys, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Wipro, Persistent, and many more. All the students get internships. Many companies offer different roles to students.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and good labs are available in our department. It has a library that consists of books on all the courses. Hostel facilities and its food are good. All the necessary facilities are available in our college.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum makes students industry ready. Exams are not difficult if students concentrate on their studies. All the students pass exams. Exams are not hard but are according to the course curriculum.

Other: I chose this course because it is in demand and provides placements. Students can learn about computers. Our college organises various fests throughout the year. It organises a big popular event named Yash.

This college is very good, if we compare all colleges in Nagpur. It has good placements in Nagpur.

Placements: My course batch will be passing out in 2024. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys etc. I think Computer Science and Engineering department has a lot of potential and they will get the highest package when they will pass out.

Infrastructure: Labs in our CSE department is of very poor quality. Classrooms have better facility, some classrooms have projectors and a college library is well maintained. The quality of food available in canteen is good and it also has various facilities like TV and sports are not played very much here.

Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful. Head of our department is very frank with all the students. All the teachers are not that knowledgeable. Course curriculum is very relevant and it makes the students industry ready. End semester exams are the toughest exam in our college. Pass percentage is 85-90%.

Other: I chose this course because we all know computer has lot of scope and I am also enthusiastic about that practical knowledge which is very important for computer related domain/technologies. Events happened every year and departmental events are also conducted.
