Our college is very good.
Placements: More than 80% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Students should score a minimum of 80% marks for internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connectivity is available in hostel rooms. Labs are well-maintained. Classrooms are clean. The library is very good, and students can find books related to their course and others such as sports-related books, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are good, helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. They are friendly and polite. Semester exams are difficult, but students can pass by studying.
Other: Events and fest are held grandly in our college. The campus crowd, connectivity, and campus surroundings are good.

Satisfied by the faculty, great placements in 2016, dissatisfied by the infrastructure and facilities
Placements: I am a final year student and placed in 5 companies in total but all of them are IT giants. About 55%-60% students of our batch are placed so far and several companies are recruiting every week. If you get placed in the mass recruiters it becomes really easy for you because other companies would only select 10-50 candidates at maximum. The highest package offered in ECE is 4.68 by Airtel and the lowest was 2.4LPA. The average package must be approximately 3LPA. 80% of the recruiting companies are IT companies like Infosys, Wipro and Cognizant but some other companies like Airtel, Vivo, Oppo, etc. Also shortlisted candidates from ECE. Some of the top roles offered are Software Engineer, System Engineer, Programmer Analyst and Quality Assurance Engineer. So the average salary offered is 25000 with the highest of 35000 and the lowest of 20000. Most of the students are waiting for their offer letters after the document verification process. The joining dates will be in June-September depending upon the companies. Only Cognizant selected candidates have got their internship dates. Their internship will be of four months post which they will be eligible for earlier joining.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average since they focus on the Galgotias University more than Galgotias college but it includes all the necessary facilities. Some of the labs are well-equipped and has Wi-Fi. The classrooms and libraries need maintenance because they have become so old and short of many facilities. The Central Library has outdated books and most of them are useless for us. If you live in campus hostel you will have to pay nearly 1.5-2 times the worth for those facilities. The hostel food is average and the canteen is not well-built but you will get to eat almost everything from there. The medical, sports and games facilities are not even worth discussing here as they are below average.
Faculty: Since the college is affiliated by AKTU so you get outdated syllabus and content to read which is of no use to become employable according to industry parameters. You will have to make extra efforts to become industry ready but the college arranges Personality Development programme from the first semester itself which is really helpful. Those faculty members are well-qualified to groom the students and help them in getting better in Professional Communication, Qualitative and Quantitative Reasoning, etc. For the technical skills it's up to you as how much do you make efforts. All of the subject teachers are helpful and qualified enough but only few of them are really knowledgeable to help you with every problem. Since most of the teachers in ECE department have less experience so the teaching quality is not that great but it is better than average.
Other: I chose this course because I was always interested in technology more than anything else. In B.Tech you get to learn various technologies around you which you always admire to what they really are. There are so many technologies to learn which are required by industry like Android development, Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Web designing, Scripting and many more. In ECE you get to learn Hardware Description Languages for VLSI Design, IoT, Digital and Analog Circuits, Wireless Communications and Embedded Systems. These skills are in demand now-a-days and are promising to get you highly paid jobs and successful career. The only problem is outdated syllabus and procedures in most of the courses which has made this course not seem worth. I wish the engineering colleges update their curriculum so as to make the students industry-ready and equally capable. If we talk about extracurricular activities there are so many events and fest organized by the college itself. The Unifest of the college is a big hit every year which is hosted by a celebrity. Apart from this you also get chances in various technical Fests. Various events, Seminars and Workshops are organized by companies and institutions which help students to know about the latest trends in the industry.

Good placement and helpful teachers.
Placements: My college is having 100% placement record. Top recruiters are Infosys, Wipro, cognizant. Average salary package is 3.6 Lacs. Non IT companies also come for the recruitment and they also give good average package. The highest package has been provided by Samsung and Amazon.
Infrastructure: Labs are well maintained with latest equipments and canteen facility is also very good. Food quality is not up to the mark. Hostel facility is also available in which rooms are comfortably large in size and separate gaming area is also there for fun activity.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and helpful. Teaching quality is very good. And Course curriculum is very relevant as it makes you industry ready. Many workshops are also conducted time to time so that students can also gain some practical knowledge which is very helpful.
Other: Connectivity to the college is very easy by public transport or private transport.

Best college in greater Noida.
Placements: Placement in galgotia college is good. Many companies came in 2107-18 session with different packages. The average salary package was 3 -4 Lacs. Some companies with 7-8 Lacs packages. Overall placement is good, if you are good in English, placement became easy in college campus. Lots of Personality development activities are also perform in campus to give interview experience.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and simple. Classrooms are big and nice but only few are air conditioning (for CS and IT students). In my branch, rooms are not air conditioning. All labs are air conditioning and contains all the equipments. Sports facilities are also here with Club associated with it arranging various game activity per year.
Faculty: Faculty are trained with higher degree of education, they are good in review your performance and suggest better. Teaching quality is good and motivating. The course curriculum is according to AKTU also known as UPTU which is quite old as compared to modern days.
Other: Galgotia college organize many cultural events. Some famous film stars also come for promotion, the other activities related to clubs are also taken place time to time, the campus is good and surrounded by trees and near college there's metro station. The transportation is also easy to college from greater Noida.

Infrastructure: Well maintained infra structure no Wi-Fi facilities on open campus, AC on library but non AC classroom, medical facilities also available 24hrs. Hostel room is very conjusted on 4seater less space, food quality of mess is not good. Games facilities are available in college.

Average college with decent faculty, extracurricular activities and placements compared to another.
Placements: There is an average package somewhere around 3-4 LPA. My batch was 2012-16. Major recruiters at that time were Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Ericcson, Idea, Infogain, and various other companies. So the placements are average. In my batch, 75% of the students were placed. I was placed in Infosys and Cognizant. Many of the students were having 3-4 offers. However, the package was only acceptable.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. The hostel food quality is below than average. There are various shops in college canteen that serves juice, fast food, milk, etc. (Great time to spend in bunks). There are almost all sports facilities including cricket, football, basketball, badminton, table tennis etc. The quality of labs and classes are average. Hostel rooms are mostly 4 seater having common washrooms, so it feels like 20th Century hostel. The library is good having a lot of offline as well as online materials.
Faculty: Few of the teachers were very helpful. Regarding qualifications, I think each of them is well-qualified. They use presentations and mostly lectures. Overall, the teaching quality is good. For each branch, the student to the faculty ratio is 15:1 approximately. There were various workshops that give industrial exposure. The State University designs the curriculum as the college is affiliated to UPTU. So about curriculum, I can say that it is far too old which focuses more on theoretical knowledge rather than practical.
Other: G-QUASAR - Techno-Cultural Annual Fest Onyx - Literary Annual Fest Various cultural, promotional events take place fortnightly. The crowd is awesome. Events are full of celebrities. Connectivity is best as it is near the Yamuna Expressway. (No problem at all). The scholarships are provided by the state government as it is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University. Every branch had its specific society that conducts Technical events for, eg GNIX, GSIN, ISME etc. There are various inter-college sports championships.

A good college for people who could not get into IIT or NITs. Disappointed with fee structure.
Placements: The maximum people are selected who took CS and ECE branches. They are placed easily in IT company like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Samsung, etc. Above 80% of the students were placed, and most of them planned to take MBA and M.Tech and those students have no business with the placement. There is a placement cell which collaborates with our college and is helpful.
Infrastructure: All are good in terms of infrastructure, and they make clubs for all arts, culture, and sports. The labs are good, but due to the older version of systems, sometimes, it is a headache for me. The hostel facility is average, and I think we all have the same kind of thought because we are far from home.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful as well as qualified except a few of them. The quality of teachers is not much helpful if you don't have self-study capabilities. The faculty ratio has not much convinced me, but it's good because every 3 students have one mentor teacher at the time of the project.
Other: They have a good campus and good connectivity. They have organised many functions which helps those students who want to make future careers in other fields also.

Best campus crowd with decent faculty and modest exposure to every kind of students activities.
Placements: The placement offered in this college is the best among all the colleges in Greater Noida. Nearly 85% of the students with no carry over paper were easily placed in many companies. Most of the students got selected in over 2 companies. I was placed in both IBM and Infosys and then finally I opted for Infosys. The placement of both our senior batch and ours was excellent. Both the years' the placement percentage was nearly 80%-85%. The highest salary that was offered from our campus was 8 lakhs and 50 thousand per annum, and the lowest was offered around 2 lacs and 60 thousand per annum. The overall average percentage of the salary offered was 4 lacs and 50 thousand per annum. The companies which visited during the placement were as following Infosys, Cognizant, IBM GBS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Erricsion, Concentric, Just Dial, HCL, VIVO mobiles Pvt. Ltd and many more. The students were offered as key employers in their respective companies. Besides the placement, the college also offers us the internship, but no stipend was offered during the internship. We had to bear it cost by our own. It also had placement cell which is much effective and helps the students richly.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is somewhat like average but surely not the disappointing one. There is Wi-Fi available to the students, but one has to pay for it. The classrooms of some building are nice but of some are disappointing one. They have medical facilities like first-aid, but not anything more than that. The sports competition is held yearly by the students only, labs of most of the subject are averagely equipped but with good lab instructor. The canteen is very good in this college they have stores of CCD, Dominos, Coca-Cola and many more. The food at the canteen is very good. The hostel rooms for the boys are poor. It would be the worst room in which you would be had ever live. However, the girl's hostel is good and equipped with nice securities and atmosphere. Overall I was just satisfied by the infrastructure of college not overwhelmed.
Faculty: The teachers of most of the subjects were helpful except some, which is the case anywhere. The teaching quality was good, some of them have their methods of explaining thing beautifully. However, the student to faculty ratio is quite good, and that is what one needs more. We also had received a good industrial exposure. We were taken to the Nainital for it. Overall the teachers and their course curriculum were modest if not excellent.
Other: GCET is the most happening place. Good entertainment for the students from time to time. Two major events happen in Galgotia. One is freshers and other is the annual fest. Both of them are too happening, celebrities visit for events. Some of them are namely Honey Singh, Raftaar, Guru Randhwa, Sunidhi Chauhan, Neha Kakkar etc. The campus crowd is far better than any other colleges in Greater Noida. The various students are also enrolled for scholarship, and there is a huge opportunity for the extracurricular activities. Lots of groups are there to make it sure for every student.

Hi Danish, Both of these colleges are good. But from placement point of view, Computer Science would be definitely better anytime. If your interest is inclined towards CS, surely opt it. All the Best!
