It is a good college with good placements, average teachers, and very good hostel facilities.

Placements: Around 40% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest salary package is 2.4 LPA, and the average salary package is 2.4 LPA to 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata, Bajaj, and Just Dial. Around 70% of students get internships because it is mandatory to do an internship in the second semester to pass the semester. Most of the students have done internships at MSME Rohtak and Honda. Top roles offered are quality inspector, supervising engineer, and sales engineer in the production department.

Infrastructure: Our college is well-equipped with Wi-Fi, IoT labs, and a library. The infrastructure of classrooms is average. Hostel facility is very good. The quality of food served in the mess is good. Sports and medical facilities are not provided daily. Hostel is up to the mark.

Faculty: Few teachers in our college are knowledgeable and helpful but few of them are average. I would rate them 4 out of 5 stars. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum provided exposure to the outside world for students. It helps students a lot with placements and to work in companies. The difficulty of exams depends on the preparation of students. The examination process can be rated 4 out of 5. Exams are moderately tough.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the tech field and I wanted to do a job after this course. Teaching methodology and a few teachers should be improved. Practical things should be improved and increased so that students get more practical knowledge. Freshers and achievers are organised in our college every year. Famous artists like Sharry Maan, a Punjabi singer, and Diler Kharkiya, a Haryanvi singer are invited. Campus crowd is good with good surroundings. Around 40 events are organised in our college every year such as debate, extempore, pot painting, game mania, etc.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty and facilities.

Placements: Many well-known and big reputed companies like Maruti Suzuki, Tech Mahindra, and Denso often come to our college for placement purposes. Students are hired at decent salary packages of 10 LPA or more. So overall I will say college is good in terms of placements. If placements matters to you along with developing skills, GITAM is a good catch.

Infrastructure: The college has a huge library with vast study material for every subject in the course. Moreover, they got external sources and references, and research papers for the same. Digital libraries, machinery, and labs are also a part of this college.

Faculty: Faculty members of the college are well experienced and are good in both theories and practical. The advantage is that the faculty listens to their students and are supportive. The college ensures that they follow university norms and regulations. The exam and courses are decided by MDU but again faculty makes sure that they cover the entire course and syllabus before exams.

Other: The college hosts various events, festivals are celebrated, achievers and scholars are acknowledged, and fests are held. I will say that the college is pretty good along with its faculty, courses, syllabus, and labs. One should consider GITAM for taking admissions.

There is an amazing environment here.

Placements: The placements of the diploma are good, but on a B.Tech basis, placements are not very good. Salary packages offered are mostly around 2 LPA-3 LPA. Most of the students are doing internships in Autocad.

Infrastructure: The condition of classrooms is good here, and desks are also good in condition. The library has syllabus-related books, and a book bank is available. Gitam has built a new hostel building, which is very good in construction and has basic facilities. It's near to the college. Wi-Fi is available on the campus.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful in nature, and all faculty members are well qualified and well experienced. In our mechanical department, faculty members have a huge knowledge of their subjects and are always ready to help students. However, my favourite teacher is the mechanical HOD named Vivek sir.

Other: I am in B.Tech mechanical engineering of batch 2019-2022. Since my childhood, I have been fond of machines, so I selected mechanical engineering. I think Gitam must improve its labs. The campus crowd is good, and the surroundings are also amazing. Students get scholarships.

I'm dissatisfied with teachers and not having good placements. But there is a good infrastructure.

Placements: Our batch was passed out in 2018. Not more than 20% of the students got placed from our college placement cell. The highest salary package offered here was not more than 3 LPA. Companies which visited here for placements were not from the core field. Proper guidance is not provided for internships during college days.

Infrastructure: I was a day scholar, so our college infrastructure was good according to the place. There was Wi-Fi here. Our college also has a library which was quite good if you want to study. The mess was also good, but hostels were not much good to stay. So, students prefer a PG there.

Faculty: Teachers here were qualified but not very helpful. The curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready. Exams were not tough, but due to not providing proper guidance, the pass percentage was low. Students only get theory knowledge, and on that basis only, they will pass or fail exams.

Other: I chose this course to make a career in this field. Events and fests were fine here, but our college should provide a more practical approach to teach students.

I am satisfied because of good teachers, and all labs equipment are available.

Placements: Around 60% of the students are placed. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Ashi Glasses, Belco Pharma, KP Reliable, JBM, JCB Krishna Maruti, Caparo and Micro Tuner. Top roles offered to the students are GET and MT. In our course, the salary package offered ranges from 1.8 to 5 LPA. Almost 80% of the students got an internship from the institute.

Infrastructure: All the facilities like Wi-Fi are available on campus and hostel. Labs are available for subjects like SOM, DOM, KOM, FM, EM, physics, chemistry, CAD, RAC, ICEGT, SPG, ET and BME. The library has all subjects books with the latest addition. Hostel rooms are clean, and an air cooler is available for students and also for the guest.

Faculty: All the teachers in our college are helpful and clear all doubts when we go to the class. All of them are knowledgeable and are well-qualified with a master degree. Teaching quality is good and clear for all the concepts. The course curriculum is relevant and meets all the industry requirements.

Other: I have chosen this course because I want to work in the industry. As it is core mechanical engineering, so I can go in all mechanical fields like automobile sector, thermal, designing, production, etc. I wish the college to improve in designing and solid works which are not added in the course curriculum of the university. An annual fest named Achiever is organised here every year, which includes project making, paper presentation and cultural activities.
