I am absolutely dissatisfied with teachers and faculty members of the college in 1st year.
Placements: In our course, 70% of previous year students got placed. The highest package for our course is 7 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package is 4.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our course are some Indian companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys HCL, Mahindra, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities available for our course are not very good. There is Wi-Fi in labs, but students do not have access to it. But the overall infrastructure is good. The library is okay but the librarian is not good. In hostels, three students live in the same room.
Faculty: Teachers are very rude and the only thing they want to make is money. They do not help students. The course curriculum is the best because it is according to the new education policy of 2020. The curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in the college are not much difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I love technology and am a techie. I Wish it provides more practicals in my course.

    My opinion on GITAM college.
Placements: The percentage of placements in my college is around 20%. The highest package is around 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Wipro, TCS, IBM, etc. Around 20% of students got internships in different companies like Wipro, TCS, and IBM. Top roles offered are salesman, etc.
Infrastructure: In my course, facilities like Wi-Fi, computer labs, classrooms, library, etc., are available for all students. There is also a hostel for students who live far from college. Facilities provided in the hostel are average. It provides facilities like Wi-Fi, food, three-sharing rooms, etc. The food is average and the canteen is available till 4 PM. Sports facilities are less.
Faculty: Some teachers in my course are helpful as they teach about both my subject and future opportunities. Some teachers are PhD holders. The teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is average and it makes students somewhat ready for industry. Semester exams are passable even with one week of study.
Other: Events and fests are not that much in this college as this college does not celebrate a new year.

Other: The reason I chose this course is because I wanted to enter the IT sector, and I had done commerce. The best thing about my course is that I get to experience coding and other things. My college organizes fests like fresher's party, achievers, convocation, etc.

My college life in a college of great knowledge.
Placements: My course has a total of 190 students. Out of these students, about 60 percent of the students are placed. The top recruiting companies in our college are Byju's, Amazon, etc., which give an average package of 5 Lacs per annum. The college has also provided jobs and has a great name in newspapers.
Infrastructure: College has great infrastructure with all the safety measures and all the facilities in labs and project rooms. It also encourages students to participate in sports and other activities. The hostel also has nice food and staying facilities. It also has different events from time to time.
Faculty: Teachers are of very helpful and friendly nature. They help students in every task and make them ready for the future according to their interest. The exam pattern is semester-wise with an above-average difficulty level, but one can easily pass these exams. There are also seasonal papers semester-wise.
Other: I have interest in computers, web designing, and app development from the very start, that's why I chose this course. This course will have great demand in future IT companies, that's why I chose this course.

Infrastructure and facilities are really good, and faculty members are kind-hearted.
Placements: About 280 students are placed, and some leave course after one or 1.5 years. The highest salary is Rs. 55,000 per year, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per year. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). We are in the middle of the course, so students have not received any internships. Roles offered include Web Developer, Data Scientist, Hardware Engineer, and Cyber Security Specialist.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi speed is average in college, so students will not worry about it. Labs are good, but their computers are not up to date, and software is outdated. The library is okay for issuing books for courses, but sometimes the books are unavailable, so we have to study from the notes provided by professors. Hostel has one of the best infrastructures in the college. There are two to three single beds in one room, and there are separate buildings for boys' and girls' hostels. Food quality is average, and snacks are provided in the evening. Medical facilities are not available on a large scale, but they treat wounds and injuries and provide basic medicines. Sports day events are held, featuring games like cricket, chess, and others.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. students can clear their queries and doubts by talking to teachers. Teachers are kind-hearted, and their teaching quality is good. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult if we study the subjects or topics carefully. The pass percentage is about 33%.
Other: I want to become a web developer, which is why I chose this course. The course is good itself, so I don't think I need to improve anything. there are several events in college, like Freshers, Achievers, and other events.
